There is a lot of noise happening right now and it is distracting us to the point where we are not functioning well. We forgot to listen to our bodies, to our spouses and to God. These are the three points I am trying to remind us about this week.

There is a very, very tiny group of fellow travelers who can amplify your inkling. For the rest, keep it quiet. Trot out a make-believe idea instead, a pretend Potemkin Village of a project, let them dump all over that one instead.
Keep the other one in the incubator for now. There will be plenty of time for sharing later.
But I disagree in part. I want to share what I want to do and put it out there so you can catch the vision. I want to change the US. I want to teach people how to fish.

]]>This episode came to mind after a conversation with my sister and a pastor friend that are both going through something in there churches, respectively. Here are some of the things I have learned.
There will always be some level of conflict whenever human beings gather, so expect it in the church too. I didn’t and it hurt me. The pastor should be the head of the church. If the deacons are fighting the pastor they are out of order. Anything with more than one head is a monster.

I have observed and remember the changes that have occurred since my birth. I think it’s a blessing. Socrates said that one cannot contemplate life while they are starving.
The words we speak have power, they are more powerful than many people realize. The words we say can put a smile on someone's face or bring tears to another one's eyes. We can encourage one another with the words we speak or we can crush the hopes and dreams of the ones we love by not watching what we say. Today, I make a difference.
