All took part in a new reflector experiment for the club, this is so we can talk without interfering with other YSF reflector rooms, the test hardware will be replaced with more capable modern PI, but a PI B overclocked managed a small group test.

The reflector page is here

Warm Welcome To The Club https://burnhamradioclub.co.uk/index.php/2018/12/06/coming-soon/ https://burnhamradioclub.co.uk/index.php/2018/12/06/coming-soon/#respond Thu, 06 Dec 2018 02:10:40 +0000 http://burnhamradioclub.co.uk/?p=37 [...]]]> The Club meets at the Bay Club Burnham On Sea every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month . The club is friendly welcoming and inclusive to all.
Your find that everyone has a slightly different take an what the hobby is, however a general consensus could be a science based experimenting hobby.

There is no right or wrong choice in a hobby that will take you wherever your interest leads:-

Maybe you want to make long distance contacts via Dxing

Maybe you want to experiment with computer based  data modes

Maybe you want to construct a receiver or similar electronics

the club doesn’t charge a yearly subscription- instead a £2 per visit charge which covers hire of the room and a tea or coffee and a biscuit
