I can’t find a D1 in the radio no matter what I press? I have no D-STAR repeaters around me so I’m using a DVMEGA HR3-25 & I have Zero issues connecting with my ID-51a+2 just the 9100? It’s my 2nd 9100 & I never was able to connect with the 1st one either? I submitted an email to the Aurthor of this topic & I’m awaiting a reply if he replies?

I liked the suggestion of the carpet sliders. I have my desk on the little wheel “dollies” from Harbor Freight (my floor is linoleum, not carpet). If I had the room, I would choose to have 30 inches or so between the back of my table and the wall so that I could get to the back of the radios for cabling. The other addition would be a “duck board” walkway on the floor. This would allow cables to run down from the table, under the walkway, and then up the wall to electrical, antenna, and any other connections. Ease of access to the back of the table is important and usually overlooked. 73 es hope to cu on the air! – NT5A, Bob

I would have loved to have done something similar for my desk, but No room for an 80″ door in any direction on the only wall I had to work with. I seriously admire the simple elegance you have created. Enjoy! 73 KN6ZVI

You cna get them at Home Depot or ACE Hardware. You would be amazed how one person can literally move the desk away fthe wall and back.

I had to sell everything off but I’m currently looking at rebuilding my shack from the ground up right now so this might be a cool route for me to go. Thanks for the detailed build instructions!!! How to connect the mic with the transceiver? symmetric to asymmetric ?
And do you touch the 3 switch filter on the mic?

Thank you
