Per farlo, però, bisognerebbe prima cercare di cambiare la nozione stessa di “società”, ritornando al significato originario di “sociale” per ritracciare nuove possibili connessioni.</p>

<p>Je lis en page quatre de mon quotidien que les campagnes de mesure, au dessus de l’Antarctique, ne sont pas bonnes cette année : le trou de la couche d’ozone s’y agrandit dangereusement. En lisant plus avant, je passe des chimistes de la haute atmosphère aux PDG d’Atochem et de Monsanto, lesquels modifient leurs chaînes de production pour remplacer les innocents chlorofluorocarboness, accusés de crime contre l’écosphère. Quelques paragraphes plus loin, ce sont les chefs d’Etat des grands pays industrialisés qui se mêlent de chimie, de réfrigérateurs, d’aérosols et de gaz inertes.</p>

<p>Never let a good crisis go to waste<br />

There is a moment when a never-ending crisis turns into a way of life. This seems to be the case with the present pandemic. If so, it might be wise to explore the permanent condition in which it has left the polity. One obvious lesson is that societies have to learn once again to live with microbes, just as they had learned to do when those little bugs were made visible by Pasteur’s and Koch’s discoveries.</p>

<p>Paris se donne si facilement au regard des peintres et des touristes, on l’a si souvent photographiée, on a publié sur la Ville Lumière tellement de beaux livres, qu’on oublie les difficultés des milliers d’ingénieurs, de techniciens, de fonctionnaires, d’habitants et de commerçants, pour la rendre visible.<br />
Ce petit livre voudrait, par le texte et par l’image, cheminer à travers la ville en explorant quelques unes des raisons qui empêchent de l’embrasser facilement d’un seul coup d’oeil.</p>

<p>Pompidou Metz accueille jusqu'en avril une partie de l'exposition montée par Martin Guinard sur une idée de BL au cours de la biennale de Taipeh en 2020-2021.
