Mark Ballou — Thu, 04 Jun 2015 19:04:52 +0000

iRunFar shares some insight into the importance of sleep. We train hard and eat right in an effort to improve our performance. However, we often ignore the greatest performance-enhancing tool: sleep. Mark Ballou — Sun, 10 May 2015 21:35:36 +0000

Mark Ballou — Mon, 09 Jun 2014 11:36:00 +0000

Well, I’ve posted a fair bit about my running on FB and Twitter, mostly just annoying people, but I think this is my first official “race report.” For what it’s worth, the likes and the little comments people post mean a lot to me. Mark Ballou — Wed, 14 May 2014 19:00:12 +0000

Please Altra, don’t lose the plot. You’re my shoe. Someone with no experience with Instincts might be really pleased with the Altra Instinct 2.0. But I’d venture to say those of us who’ve been wearing them since the Original, will notice immediately how far Altra has strayed. I’ve got so many pairs of Altras, it’s...

IMPRESSIONS: ALTRA LONE PEAK 1.5

Mark Ballou — Tue, 13 May 2014 19:00:41 +0000

Altra, stay on target. I absolutely LOVE my Lone Peak 1.5’s and really appreciate Altra offering the subdued black color scheme. I’ve got about 150 miles on mine, with So Cal trail & fire roads, runs maxing out at about 20 miles. In these conditions, I love everything about the shoes. The tread really gives...

Mark Ballou — Mon, 06 Feb 2006 04:17:00 +0000

So I went snowboarding in Mammoth last weekend and had a blast. Only problem was I came out of it with a totally traumatized big right toe. After a week of hoping it would sort itself out, I enlisted the help of podiatrist friend & entrepreneur extraordinare, Daniel Rubano to give me some guidance on...
