I can’t gather good info on market fresh zumos (or freshly pressed juices). I am from Slovakia and we don’t have those vendors where they make you fresh juice. I am not only talking about fresh orange juice but also pineaple, mango, coconut, strwaberry and other combo flavors.

I want to visit Hungary from Poland, end of may, take my brother and mum and pup with me. Dad is 80 years old, healthy but probably will not be willing to walk entire day. How many days to spend in Budapest and how many at Balaton? Where exactly in Balaton?
Budapest: parliament, king's castle, national museum + war museum. Saint Stephan basilica for sure, japanese park and maybe some synagogue. Maybe some schooling too when mum goes sleep. Is 3 days enough for Budapest? Mum says she wants to return home just after a week - but i could easily spend 5 days in Budapest alone... Thinking about going to CDMX for a second time, a week in June. I've been to most of the major sights (anthropology museum, zocalo, teotihuacan pyramids, chapultec castle, Museo Soumaya). Do you think a week is too long given that I've seen a lot of the city? Mostly I just like the food and I didn't get to try a lot last time because everything was so crowded during xmas. I had amazing tacos that also gave me food poisoning. I have not been to the megabiblioteca, the frida museum, or the museum of modern art. Anything else worth exploring?

I have to decide which city I'm going to live in for the next two years. I'm male, in my late twenties and I have a small dog. I have been accepted to two major masters programmes, one in Paris and the other in Zurich.

Zurich seems to be the best option, safe and clean, best quality of life, good countryside and outdoor activities. But I have also heard that it is a boring city for young people (I am not that into the nightlife, but I also don't want to isolate myself).

I have mixed feelings about Paris and I'd like to hear more about your experiences there. Is it really as hard as it seems? My friend in Colombia is trying to visit the US but it seems unreasonably hard to get a tourist visa. I have never left the USA and my friends often ask why. But the reality is that I am just not thrilled about other places that much and the places I want to go to are fucking weird in certain ways that make me not want to go. Like I am never going to Korea or anywhere where the toilets aren't like the USA toilets. I primarily want to visit Mexico and Argentina but I hear that you can't drink the tap water there or you will get sick. What kind of shit is that? Literally can't brush your teeth with the water either. Then some places are very VERY close to third world-esque situations. Like I wanted to go to Puerto Rico or The Dominican Republic but I hear you basically have to stay on the resorts which if you are on a resort, you are basically just in Miami from what I hear. Hear me out, weebs. Besides the big three (Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto), I’m under the impression most large Japanese cities are quite boring.

They almost completely lack historical sights, which is a given, as the country was built from scratch recently. But in contrast to Tokyo, they also lack their Shibuya / Harajuju / Akihibara, Shinjuku (that’s probably just the tip of the iceberg): non-historical areas that still brim with life. They don’t even have it at a smaller scale, it just isn’t there.

An average Euro town of this size (1+ mln) will have TONS of historical areas, an old town, dedicated areas for going out. And I don’t mean capitals, look at Valencia, at Lille, at Hamburg. Packed with landmarks and uniqueness.

In comparison, what is there to see or do in Sendai, specifically? Or in Kawasaki? Or in Fukuoka? Or Saitama? I know these cities don’t cater to tourists, but how do they even cater to locals? I watch videos from these cities and there’s just … nothing there, like most of the screen time is spent in some generic underground mall and everything above the ground is samey.

I know Japan in general is a good country for eating out. But that’s really it. There are no sights, no exciting urbanism, just featureless, drab, extremely samey (however clean and safe they may be) concrete jungles.

I want to see Italy this summer for three weeks. Thought I'd go through all the major cities but then I realized you'd need a lot more than that to see everything it has to offer, so I decided to just do a couple of places like Rome, Florence, Venice, etc, but be thorough and get a real sense of these places together with all the history they contain. Guess I'll have to come back another time to see the rest.
But then I searched for lodging in Booking and the lowest hotel around the city centre is 290$ A NIGHT. I don't want to spend 6-7k on hotel rooms nor do I want to stay in hostels or in some remote apartments in the outskirts of the city and take the metro or walk every morning to see the sights.
The obvious solution is to rent a car which you can get at 1-1.5k for the entire trip and sleep in it, but then I read they have these "ZTL" zones at the tourist areas where all the interesting stuff are and you get heavily fined for entering them.
So how to go about this trip? And what cities should I visit during three weeks?

I'm currently in Japan and looking to go to Korea for a week or so after. I traveled there before for a month and stayed in an Airbnb which was like $45-50 a night for a 3 bedroom. It just seems interesting to me that Seoul would be more expensive than Kyoto/Osaka (I know seoul is the capital and the other two aren't but sitll). I think I'll probably just get a nice hotel near the beach in Da Nang and Nha Trang for 1 month each, but any other suggestions, thoughts, unexpected implications? People say Nha Trang is uneventful but I booked a really nice place really cheap there and it looks like the kind of place I can get good access to beaches, city and nature so it looks good to me.

First of all, there’s so fucking many of them anywhere you go. They’re rude and everywhere and they think they’re superior to everyone else and they actually believe it genuinely, not like Americans who play it up to be funny. God forbid you get stranded in a hostel with a bunch of Germans.
