Sounds like a lovely time! We got a surprise gift card to the nicest restaurant in town for Christmas and had our first REALLY nice date in 5 years. It was so fun! Beautiful dress!

I love this post…maybe b/c I could have written it!! I love that you are in love with your husband and go out on dates too! We don’t exchange gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, or holidays! I prefer we spend the money on traveling as a family or on the rare occasion just traveling for the 2 of us. Those memories will last a lot longer then anything he buys me.
