Just saw your comment from 2021 as I am archiving the posts. I wasn’t paying much attention to 2×2 in 2021 as was shifting from blogging to seeking practical hands on solutions. Interestingly in 2022 I started creating material for church camps that can also be used by families or congregations. Let me know if you are still interested. I have three years experience now!
]]>Just noticed your comment again as I am archiving the 1200 blog posts that started the journey. Been a few years since you dismissed me as an ax grinder. I stopped blogging in 2017 and started working on practical solutions to real church problems—without the support of any church body. My persistence resulted in a group of churches willing to work with me receiving a $1,250,000 grant to find actual solutions for church failure which is often not only accepted but facilitated.
]]>I didn’t want to give to a church that went against the Word, thinking as the Carnal mind thinks. I went by the Word. I grew up with the United Lutheran Synod (very sacred), then the synod changed to American Lutheran, etc,, until ELCA Lutheran. Because of being cooped up because of the pandemic, I have had times to think about my salvation, concentrate more on the Lord. Many of my church members left the ELCA. ‘There are more to leave, many reduced their tithe. We tithed in our church. Our children are not learning what we learned in the Word. Now, for them, everything carnal is OK. What a difference. The close relationship with God is God. Carnality has taken over, not the Word. Everything is OK. I am moving to another Lutheran Church and forgive me when I say, I Hate ELCA.
