Jazwares exclusives aplenty

A pretty big name in the collector market today, Jazwares holds some impressive licenses. Those include Marvel, Star Wars, AEW wrestling, and the phenomenon that is KPop Demon Hunters. And for fans who’ll be heading to San Diego Comic Con this month, there’s set to be a little of everything in store.

To that end, the company has multiple points to chat about today. That being the reveal of a loaded show schedule, plus the list of exclusive items. The former will be found in the company’s booth (#3513), and will include a surprising amount of happenings. Before we get to those though, there are the con exclusives.

That’s a lot of stuff, and there are some gems that look to be included. As for our favorites, those start with the concept art edition of Boba Fett’s Starship. The familiar starship looks awesome in that colorway.

Then there’s the Billy Goat himself, AEW’s Will Ospreay. With the wrestling license departing the company some time soon(ish), this feels like it might be one of the last opportunities to get a figure of a talent like Ospreay. So if you’re a fan, you might want to take a look at that one.

Now, all that said, there’s even more in store for Comic Con. The above are just the highlighted items from the company’s Con collection, and there’s much more. Check out the rest in the second gallery below.

Hit the booth for even more

While we love exclusives, there’s more news today than just what’s pertaining to physical merch. As mentioned, Jazwares will have a full set of in-booth happenings as well, including signings, meet & greets, and appearances.

From the looks of the list as it stands now, not everything is final just yet, but you can get a sense of the catalogue for sure. As hinted at too, we’re actually pretty surprised at the depth of what’s planned. Fans can look for a total of seven events to be on the books.

Keep in mind however, that all of the below will be taking place in the Jazwares booth, which is #3513 on the show floor. That being said, you’ll need an SDCC badge to attend. That goes for buying the exclusives at the Con too, though again, those you’ll be able to find online.

He’s the best there is at what he does

For some time, fans hadn’t seen much of anything when it came to Insomniac’s Wolverine adaptation. There was a messy leak, sure, but that was of a massively unfinished game, and didn’t really convey much of what the final title would look like.

We know that for sure now, thanks to Marvel’s Wolverine making an appearance at last week’s State of Play. The Sony presser/online presentation was abuzz with reveals, though it was the expansion of Sony’s burgeoning Marvel video game universe that took the lion’s share of the headlines. For its part, Marvel’s Wolverine is looking pretty darn sharp. And yes, that’s a pun.

The first real look at the title is packed, loaded up with both action and surprises. Amongst those, are the game’s villains, the Reavers. Cybernetically-enhanced foes mercenaries, the Reavers have appeared in both comics and on the silver screen in Logan.

So X-Men fans should be well acquainted with them already. Along with them too, the trailer showcases a cadre of Logan’s supporting characters. The likes of Omega Red, Sabertooth, and even Jean Grey were all included. What you won’t see though, are the X-Men.

While the game’s universe apparently once had a mutant super-group called Team X, Xavier’s own are curiously absent. Might Marvel’s Wolverine be setting up to serve as a lead-in for a wider X-game in the future? That, we don’t know. But again, and for now anyway, this slice ’em up is looking like a title to watch for this fall.

Insomniac Games shares a brutal, violent, and action-packed look at its upcoming single-player adventure Marvel’s Wolverine. Alongside a closer look at Logan’s ferocious combat techniques, the studio gave us a glimpse at some of the characters who you’ll encounter as part of mutant task force Team X. That includes powerful telekinetic Jean Grey, who Logan teams up with for some devastating takedowns of the cybernetic, mutant-hunting Reavers.

Sideshow-DCC

If you’ve only just started paying attention to San Diego Comic Con, then you might not know what a force Sideshow has been. To put it mildly though, the retailer was a huge presence on the show floor. That started with the 2000 edition of the Con, and delivered massive booths, at the heart of the show. Those were filled to the brim too, typically with both reveals and freshly available statues and sixth-scale figures. That was years ago at this point though.

The company actually dropped in-person appearances at Comic Con International (SDCC) in 2022. As far as we’re aware, that conveyed to other Cons as well, and in-house, online events were commissioned. While those were actually kind of cool, it’s hard to say they had the same impact. They didn’t for us anyway, and from the looks of it, we’re not alone in that thinking.

That’s because, late last week, Sideshow revealed that it would be returning to the big show. Said return to form will actually take place this summer, as Sideshow and Hot Toys will be crashing the San Diego Convention Center once again, albeit in a new location.

In-person, and online too

While the collectible/retailing giant is indeed coming back for more Comic Con fun, it won’t be in the same place you might remember. The new home for Sideshow and Hot Toys will be situated near the entrance of Hall C, at booth #2401. Naturally, that booth will be open for the length of the show itself, starting on July 23rd (2026), and running through the 26th.

Going on step further, don’t expect the online component to be scrapped. Nope, just because Sideshow is back in physical form, doesn’t mean those who can’t attend the Con will miss out. Instead, the company will be doing both, with Sideshow.com playing a big part in the festivities. Fans will even be able to register for the online edition ahead of the in-person SDCC.

Online-exclusive “coverage, activities, and more” will kick off on July 20th, and roll on throughout the week. Additionally, there’s a pre-registration period, and those who do that will get “the latest news and updates as they are revealed”, plus Sideshow Rewards to use in the online shop. The Pulse of Hasbro

The retail arm of one of the biggest toy companies in the world, you bet that Hasbro Pulse will have a presence at MCM London Comic Con. A full rundown of what’ll be on hand for the British show has actually just been unveiled, and it’s packed.

Attendees will be able to check out a full booth on the show floor, at Stand S1300, plus engage with several special happenings. On that end, Transformers: Cyberworld will lead things off on Friday the 24th. Fans will be able to meet, greet, and even ask questions of the “cast and crew”, on the Creator Stage. Look for that to run from 12:20pm to 1:10pm (local time).

As for who’ll be in attendance, “the voices behind Megatron Elita-1 Starscream and more of everyone’s favourites bots” will all be there. Add to that the presence of the show’s writers and directors, and you have what should be a heck of a Q and A.

After that, it’s on to Saturday the 25th, for the famed Hasbro Brand Panel. A mainstay at Comic Con’s, the Brand Panel will be the chance for fans to check out “exciting product reveals and first looks”. That will kick off at 11:45am, and run until 12:35pm.

Hang on though, because that’s not all. While the panels above represent the catalogue in that arena, the booth will have its own area dedicated to D&D. Fans of the iconic fantasy RPG will be able to create their own characters, and even explore the latest starter set. The latter will be possible via either Pulse or Role Play Haven, which will be at Stand N1490.

There’s even more though, as there’s a pretty cool possible takeaway if you do make your own character. Hasbro says that fantasy fans will have the chance to “receive a custom portrait sketch of their finished heroes from an on-site artist.” If you’d like to give that a shot, it’ll be in Stand S1300 as well.

Don’t forget the exclusives

Last but certainly not least, what Comic Con would be complete without some exclusives? That’s something that Hasbro knows all too well, and the company will be delivering once again for the big London event.

To be fair, what’ll be on hand won’t be strictly exclusive to MCM London Comic Con. Instead, it all falls under the heading of “fall convention exclusives”. Still, there’s some great stuff on tap, all of which you’ll presumably be able to find at that magical Stand S1300.

We’re kind of guessing on that one, since the press release doesn’t explicitly state the fact, but where else would it all be?

From Plus to Pulse

We might be stretching it with that subheading, but we’re thinking it kind of fits today’s news. After all, Disney+ is kind of the home for both Marvel and Star Wars, and upcoming products from both iconic brands have just landed on Hasbro Pulse, the toy-giant’s online shop.

On the Marvel side, the X-Men ’97 TV show pretty easily features, with a pair of action figure two-packs. Not that comics fans are left with nothing though, as a former build-a-figure gets a mass release. Oh, and did we mention that the awesome Wolverine helmet from Deadpool and Wolverine has posted as well? As for Star Wars, there’s plenty there too. Fans can find a pair of Black Series figures from Revenge of the Sith, along a helmet hailing from Andor.

Marvel Legends

As mentioned, there are a bunch of fresh action figure pre-orders up right now on Hasbro Pulse. The X-Men do indeed take the spotlight too, with a double dose of X-Men ’97 action and a movie arrival. The first is a set that showcases both Rogue and Gambit in their athletic wear. Yup, it’s the (first?) basketball pack. Along those same lines is another two-pack that features Wolverine and Storm. Both heroes reflect their late-season 1 looks from X-Men ’97.

Breaking away from television though, is another double shot of pre-orders with Strong Guy and Deadpool. The former brings X-Factor’s Guido back around in what looks like a slightly revised form, and with a massive barbell accessory. Kinda neat, that. As for the Merc with a Mouth, this latest version of Deadpool is actually the third release in Marvel Legends‘ premium Maximum Series. As such, he looks to be packed with accessories, and even includes Doop.

But there is more for Marvel! Hasbro Pulse also unveiled a powerful lineup of new figures. The Marvel Legends Series Wolverine and Storm 2-Pack, inspired by X-Men ’97, brings two fan-favourites together with premium animation-style deco and nine character-inspired accessories. Marvel Legends Maximum Series Deadpool breaks into collections with over 30 points of articulation, 24 accessories (including Doop), and a display-worthy design that captures the Merc with a Mouth’s chaotic energy. Rounding out the wave, the Marvel Legends Series X-Factor Strong Guy captures Guido Carosella’s larger-than-life strength with premium design, seven accessories, and full articulation for posing.  And last but not least, the Marvel Legends Series Gambit and Rogue 2-Pack also joins the lineup, inspired by X-Men ’97’s unforgettable basketball scene and featuring premium animation-style deco, five accessories, and series-accurate details that bring the couple’s dynamic to life.

And last but not least, is that awesome looking Wolverine mask/helmet from Deadpool and Wolverine. Looking pretty darn close to the one worn by actor Hugh Jackman, Hasbro’s mass-market Wolvie mask looks to be nicely detailed, and comes complete with a stand. Oh yeah, and you can wear it too. It even touts interior padding.

First up, fans of the Marvel universe will be delighted to delve into a 1:1 scale reproduction with the Marvel Legends Series Wolverine Premium Roleplay Mask, inspired by the recent Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine movie. Featuring the character’s iconic yellow-and-black look, removable interior padding for comfort, and a stand for display, this premium roleplay mask is ready for cosplay, Halloween costumes, or as a centrepiece in any fan’s collection.

From the Galaxy far, far away

What’s a pre-order update without a few Star Wars releases? Well, we wouldn’t know, because Hasbro once again doesn’t look to disappoint, this time with a trio of new pre-orders that spin out of the brand’s Black Series. Two of those are figures, and then there’s what looks like it might be one of the coolest helms that we’ve seen yet from the company.

The figures though, are flat-out iconic, and bring both Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi back to 6″ life one more time. While we’ve seen these characters before in the Black Series, this time they’re reflecting their looks from Revenge of the Sith.

Meanwhile, the final movie in the prequel trilogy Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith is revisited with two essential additions to the Black Series line: Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Both figures feature film-inspired sculpting, photoreal deco, premium articulation, and their signature blue lightsabers. Fans can recreate the climactic duel on Mustafar or display the pair as the ultimate representation of friendship turned rivalry.

As for that helmet, yep, it’s the Shoretrooper. Pulled from the Star Wars series Andor, this new offering certainly looks the part, and even includes a “voice-changing” feature.

The Con is on

No, not that con, we’re talking about Sideshow Con today, as the booth tour for day one has officially been released. And if you don’t know what Sideshow Con is, it basically shakes out that a few years ago the purveyor of all things pop culture went and made its own online convention. It’s there that fans can find out what they can expect to see coming, from not only the hosts, but also from the likes of Hot Toys, New Wave Toys, and more.

At the head of day one’s coverage is none other than The Pokémon Company International, who debuted a pair of statues from Sideshow, one of which is a “life-size” Pikachu that stands in at over 18″ tall. Yeah, that’s your big boy right there.

From that point, Sideshow Con rolls into some slick fantasy pieces its Critical Role Collection, plus a Stitch (from Lilo and) collectible figure, and another look at Hot Toys‘ massive Venom from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Rounding things out are pieces from God of War, Diablo IV, Fallout, Destiny II, and even some fresh mini-arcade units from New Wave Toys.

If you were waiting for the return of the Hasbro Pulse Power Days Sale to scoop up a few collectibles you might’ve missed this past year, your time is now. The toy giant just revealed that the mid-year savings event is indeed back on, and is rolling over at the company’s official online shop, Hasbro Pulse. Kicking off today, the sale will run through July 16th (at 11:59pm CEST) and include pricing that serves up “massive savings on select action figures, collectibles, and more”, according to Hasbro.

Just how big your savings can be depends on what kind of Pulse user you are however, as the old saying holds true in that membership has its privileges. As a result, Hasbro Pulse Premium Members are in for a mighty 20–25% off eligible items, while Non-Premium Members can scoop-up their goodies at 10–15% off.

Discounts across all of Hasbro’s biggest

To showcase what kinds of pricing will be in effect for the sale days, Hasbro has highlighted a few key deals, spread out across its biggest brands. On the Star Wars: The Black Series side, the STAP & Battle Droid set from Star Wars Episode One and the Transformers Legacy United Voyager Class Fractured Friendship 2-pack are both 15% for Non-Premium and 25% off for Premium Members.

Marvel Comics fans might be interested in a new Iron Man figure to add to their own Hall of Armors, as the Marvel Legends Series Iron Man (Model 20) has had its price tag repulsor-blasted by 10% for Non-Premium and 20% for Premium Members. Not to be left out, Cobra is well-represented by the awesome G.I. Joe Classified Series #111 Cobra H.I.S.S. Techno-Viper & HMS, which matches Shell-Head’s discounts.

Sonar sense not included

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, or intentionally avoiding all MCU-related news, you know all about Daredevil: Born Again. Picking up (more or less) from the end of the Netflix show, Born Again brings actor Charlie Cox back as Matt Murdock, Hell’s Kitchen’s own Daredevil. High-end toy company Hot Toys is set to continue its excellent line of Marvel Cinematic Universe figures with an adaptation as well, though you probably saw that one coming.

Set to launch in mid-’26, the figure will look to sport the usual Hot Toys level of detail and sculpting. Daredevil will sport his new red DD costume for the piece, and will also include several interchangeable facial expressions, a bunch of accessories, and even an unmasked “Matt Murdock” portrait.

How much for all of ’em?

If you’re a toy collector, then chances are you’ve at least ogled a few of Hot Toys offerings over the years. While they’re expensive, the 12″ scale figures that the company regularly produces are amongst the finest ‘action figures’ on the market, at any scale.

While Hot Toys is more or less synonymous with movie adaptations though, that’s not the only arena that it dabbles in. Video games and comics are starting to become more the norm, with a little something for almost every kind of fan. The above was quite evident too, from today’s Hot Toys Showcase, from retailer Sideshow.

Yes, we saw a whole bunch of figures inspired by big and small screen characters, from both live-action and animation. But on top of those, there was also an appearance by some spectacular figures from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and a great looking Doctor Doom figure ripped right from the comics. We’re really hoping that Hot Toys gets more into stuff from the printed page than the silver screen, but that’s probably just us.

Ah yes, variants

Whether you liked it or not, last summer’s Deadpool & Wolverine motion picture was absolutely packed with neat cameos. A good chunk of those were pretty unexpected too, with the pair of heroes running into variations of classic Marvel-movie heroes and villains as they made their way across the other-worldly Void.

One of the coolest of those had to be actor Chris Evans’ Human Torch. Featuring a unique look, the character was otherwise pulled from the now-classic Fantastic Four films from Fox. This version of the Torch had been hanging out in the Void for a while, and perhaps gave audiences a slight taste of what they can expect from the all-new version of the FF, coming to theaters this year. Now he’s on the way to collectors too, thanks to Hot Toys.

Just revealed by Sideshow and the high-end toy-maker, the Human Torch comes complete with Evans’ likeness, plus costume options and some wicked flame effects.

Chris Evans, who is known for his portrayal of the pivotal MCU character Captain America, surprised audiences by reprising his Fantastic Four role of the Human Torch in a searing cameo. Pruned by the TVA, the Human Torch has been hiding in the Void, where he meets Deadpool and Wolverine.

The Human Torch 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure features a hand-painted headsculpt with a detailed likeness of Chris Evans as Johnny Storm / Human Torch. Collectors can pose the figure with nuanced expressions thanks to Hot Toys’ innovative rolling eyeball design. Johnny wears a meticulously tailored blue Fantastic Four uniform, a distressed cloak with an embedded wire hem, detachable arm wraps, a utility belt, and combat pants.

This highly poseable figure allows for dynamic display options with over 30 points of articulation and a specially designed diorama base. The Human Torch comes with 8 flame effects including tongues of flame, a flame attack, and a fire-whirling accessory that allows the flame to wrap around the figure.
