Otra de las evidencias de las que disponíamos era que en el palacio todavía se conserva la estatua el IDOLO DE EGIPTO, que aparece en la testamentaría y pertenece a la colección Mengs. A partir de ahí consultamos con la <strong>Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando</strong> y pudimos constatar que el infante poseyó prácticamente todos los vaciados de las estatuas de dicha colección. El informe fue entregado al <strong>Ayuntamiento de Boadilla</strong> que finalmente encargó seis estatuas para ubicarlas en las hornacinas de la escalera principal del palacio.<br />  <br /> Con ese motivo queremos acercar al público la colección de esculturas que perteneció al infante don Luis de Borbón y hemos organizado <strong>dos conferencias extraordinarias</strong> durante el mes de octubre (viernes 24 y miércoles 29;
