The WFEA Morning Update is hitting the road on Friday, September 18th, broadcasting live from 10am to noon at the 22nd Annual NH Veteran Stand Down, presented by Harbor Care.
We’ll be set up at Eversource Energy Park (780 N Commercial Street, Manchester) for one of the biggest days of the year for New Hampshire veterans. More than 50 resource providers will be on-site offering everything from employment help and medical care to housing support, benefits assistance, food, and clothing. There’s free breakfast and lunch, food trucks, live music, and a whole lot of community in one place.
The Stand Down is free and open to all veterans and their families. No registration required, though veterans can preregister to help Harbor Care’s team prepare ahead of time.
Swing by and say hi while we’re broadcasting live. Whether you’re a veteran looking for resources, a family member, or just someone who wants to support the men and women who served, this is a great way to spend part of your Friday morning.

Seth is a 13-year veteran of “Saturday Night Live,” and we were excited to welcome him back to New Hampshire for this special show. This will be his third performance to support CASA of NH and the Granite State Children’s Alliance, following two fantastic benefit shows in 2018 and 2023. We have no doubt that this year’s event will be just as meaningful – and hilarious! We hope people will join us for a night of laughter and fun with the knowledge that they’re helping vulnerable children throughout New Hampshire.

Celebrations throughout New Hampshire are planned to commemorate not just the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, but the entire revolutionary period. Educational programs, re-enactments, and the display of the original 1776 constitution are some of the community events taking place. Installation will begin no later than November 1, 2026, and estimated project completion by December 31, 2026. If the total prize value of $30,000 is not fully used, any remaining balance will be forfeited and not redeemable for cash. The winner is responsible for any expenses exceeding the $30,000 prize value. WFEA, along with WZID and Live Free Country, will be participating in this promotion, so listeners from all stations will be competing again one another for the “Decide the Design” prize.
The winner must pick up the prize information from the office located at 500 North Commercial Street in Manchester with a Social Security Card and photo ID between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. WFEA’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize and will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use the prize.
