It was your father who inspired me to collect together the previously uncollected F&SF essays and create the long-due final volume in the series – ‘Something for Nothing’. You can find it on archive.org.

Thank you so much for sharing your father’s journal and snippets of your life growing up with your dad and Dr Asimov. I turn 60 this month and remember first reading my father’s copy of Foundation when I was in middle school. That first read was a definite spark in my mind and influenced my desire to read all books Asimov. I amassed a large collection of his work over the years and used some of my father’s inheritance to complete my collection of all Asimov fiction and a large amount of nonfiction. It is a great collection that learned a lot from…and proud to own. I’ve also often used this website over the years to read your dad’s reviews and comments on all A’s books and stories. I’ve enjoyed reading them all.

Came here to see the yearly blog post about Dr. A’s birthday and was saddened to read this. John’s Asimov site has been such a great resource for so long and I’m grateful for all the work he put in to share this with us. So very sorry for your loss.

So very sorry to read this. I’ve been an Asimov fan since my teens in the early 80’s. I’ve collected Asimov for many years since and have used your father’s website many many times for reference, and enjoyment. I will continue to return every year on Isaac’s birthday, I hope you will be here.

This makes me very sad. rip.

My sincere condolences for your loss. I’ve enjoyed and admired your father’s work since I discovered this website many, many years ago, and it was one of the main foundations (pun intended) for my own Asimov research. May it stand for many more years to commemorate his passion and effort.
