We all pray for those in our families that have left the practice of their faith. A priest here in the Diocese of Lincoln has started a devotion called Masses and Tears to help all of us to offer our prayers and Masses for the members of our family that separated themselves from the Catholic Church.

The image of St. Monica on the website and on the associated printed material is an especially powerful for all those that know the story of how her prayers led to the conversion of her son, Augustine, an eventual Bishop and Saint.

Sometimes you are humbled and inspired by the work of others. Working over the last months with Bethlehem House on their new website and rebranding has been one of those experiences. Here is a group of wonderful folks that put their talents to great use helping pregnant women in need. They provide the support and love that these women and their babies sorely need at such a critical time.

Bethlehem House is a safe haven while also helping to change lives of those that they serve and also of those that serve the house’s patrons as employees and volunteers.

Ever wanted to do the Camino de Santiago (the Way of St James) that was featured in the move The Way? But maybe it was too far away and you longed for a similar journey closer to home. Well, Fr. Andrew Kurz has come up with an American alternative called The Wisconsin Way. Through a great website (wisconsinway.com) and associated blog you can follow the adventure that Fr. Kurz had during his 12 day pilgrimage across Wisconsin.

The pilgrimage journey goes from Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help to the Shrine of Our Lady Help of Christians (Holy Hill). Check out the website and be inspired to plan your own pilgrimage to take some time away and work on increasing your faith.

Just hit the Explore button and then you can just pick the filters to get down to the list of saints that you are looking for. You can search using filters based on the saints’ graces, vocation, century, world region, etc.

For the web developers and techies there are even free tools so that you can embed their saint of the day tile, the tile of a saint of your choice, or even embed their search tile. For the more involved they even offer their search API.
