Everyone’s heard the amazing song of the film Kaminey, but do you know how long the song has actually been around? It may be of a surprise to the masses, but ‘Dhan Te Nan’ has actually been around for 10 years or so. Today we see Shahid Kapoor grooving to this very cool track in Kaminey, but he wasn’t the first person to do so. Vishal Bharadwaj, the Director and screenplay writer of Kaminey, had actually written this song originally for a Zee Tv Telefilm of the program “Gubbare”. ‘Dhan Te Nan’ was originally picturized on Sharman Joshi, during his early days of acting in front of the camera. Today’s version of ‘Dhan Te Nan’ is definitely more stylized, dazzling, and peppy than the original. The music has been totally digitally remastered from the original track, having some slight changes to fit with the style of today. The original Zee Tv version went unnoticed, but we know for a fact that Kaminey’s version won’t be forgotten. ‘Dhan Te Nan’ has become a great song to kick up a party.The next time you listen to ‘Dhan Te Nan’, just remember that everything has a past. We certainly hope that ‘Dhan Te Nan’ breaks all the records, and that Kaminey contiunes to do brilliantly at the box office!

“Poora naam, Vijay Dinanth Chauhan”: the words that everyone wanted to hear from Abhishek Bachchan’s mouth.

Agneepath, one of Amitabh Bachchan’s best films, is finally being re-made. The film is being made by none other than Karan Johar. And who better to do the role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan than Abhishek Bachchan?

Yes, that’s right, Big B’s own son will finally step into his father’s shows. Originally, Hrithik Roshan was approached to do the main role. Hrithik, however, refused saying that he had date problems. But if we look at it, Abhishek is the most suitable for this role. His looks, charisma, acting style, and his grace all do resemble those of the Big B’s. The Junior B had always wished to play one of his father’s roles, and now he has finally gotten his chance.

Here’s wishing all the best to AB’s Baby, and we hope that the remake is a super hit just as the original was!

Aamir may be the new Forest Gump

There is a new buzz in the air, suggesting that Aamir Khan may do a remake of the hit film Forest Gump. When asked about which film Aamir would like to remake into Hindi, Aamir replied “It’s Tom Hanks’ Forest Gump.” Aamir Khan insisted that the film is wonderful and that Tom Hanks has done a fantastic job. The film was shot with so much precision that Aamir Khan, being the perfectionist that he is, couldn’t think of any other film to remake.

Let’s look at it from another angle. Both Aamir Khan and Tom Hanks are perfectionists and are one of the most reliable actors, respectively in their own film fraternities. Keeping that in mind, it is definitely clear on why Aamir wants to remake the film. Within no time we all may be saying “Run Aamir Run”. Here’s wishing that the remake is just as good as the original!

It’s all a number game: DILLI 6 is now DELHI 6

From the beginning, the Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor starer was known by its Hindi name “Dilli 6”. However, as the release date drew closer, the film title was changed to its English form Delhi 6. Why the sudden change? It is perhaps a simple belief in numerology. Let’s take Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the maker of the film, for example who added an extra “Y” to his first name. Numerologically speaking, the new title would actually be beneficial for everyone involved with the film. The old name “Dilli 6” adds up to the number 18, which is not auspicious at all for Abhiskek and Sonam. However, “Delhi 6” adds up to the number 24, which is very powerful. This new name will mainly prove to be beneficial for Sonam Kapoor and the producer Ronnie Screwvala. Ronnie Screwvala’s date of birth is the 8th June, and 6 is one of his luckiest numbers.

Let’s hope that the new name change does wonders for the film. Here’s wishing Delhi 6 the best of luck at the box office.

Govinda Quitting Politics

There has been speculation in the air that Govinda has had enough of politics. The hype suggested that he won’t be in line for a party ticket for the next general election. Chi Chi Bhaiya claims that he is about to finish off his political term with success. He has had enough of being a member of parliament and would like to put his full attention on his second innings in Bollywood. Let’s not forget that he started his second innings off with the successful hit Bhagam Bhag. While achieving so much success on their second innings, who wouldn’t want to just concentrate on their filmi career? Keeping that in mind, we can only ask Govinda, “Abhinetha Ya Abhi Bhi Netha”? We will only find out as time progresses. Here’s wishing Raja Babu success for his fourth coming films.

Kat not to attend Sallu’s New Year’s party?

The vivacious Katrina Kaif, will not be attending Salman Khan‘s New Year’s Eve party. It appears that she is still a bit disappointed at what happened at her birthday party. After a Karan-Arjun type fight, apparently started by singer and actor Kamaal Khan; Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan broke their 18 year old bond of friendship. Instead of attending Sallu’s New Year’s party, Katrina will be performing at the J. W. Marriott in Mumbai. Kat’s wardrobe will be designed by Rocky S, and her act will be choreographed by none other than Bosco-Caesar.

Needless to say, Kat and Sallu have been an item for some time now. Will the fight at the party be the basis for the their relationship to come to a close? Hard to say right now. All we can say is “Bade bade deshon mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hain!”
