I have an Onn smart TV and am trying to play something off a USB on it. I checked a pdf of the manual online (no idea where I put mine, but I’ve had the TV for a few years and never needed it before now). In media mode the TV detects the USB stick, but for some reason I can’t use the remote to navigate the menu even though the manual says you’re supposed to be able to. I can move the highlight with some buttons on the back, but for some reason there doesn’t seem to be a discernible way to move up, which I need to select the USB, or to even select what’s highlighted at all. Am I just retarded or is something broken here?

Does anyone know how to add multiple subtitles to the same time in SubtitleEdit? I don't mean typing more than one line, I mean overlapping a subtitle in a different position where a subtitle has already been placed.

How do I actually force myself to draw? I've been wanting to draw for nearly 2 years now and have barely made any progress towards that goal. I've only done one Loomis face like 2 years ago and haven't done any exercises or line work since then. I've been trying to get myself to draw, but all of it looks too complicated and exhausting for me. I've tried multiple different strategies, but they never seem to work. I've tried forcing myself to draw, but can only make myself draw circles for barely 30 seconds before stopping and looking at my phone again.

I've got a couple of drawing books and a drawing tablet for my PC and barely touched them.

My shaky hands fuck up every drawing I make, and I can barely do lines without fucking them up. I can't use my shoulder, I only feel good using the motions of my fingers.

Basically, I went to a comic convention with some friends (Most of whom I don't know what happened to their lives.) and posted the picture on /b/ (most likely) saying "we are suaj tv," which was the name of an old YT channel I had (which I already deleted). I only remember someone responding with "what a picardi" or something like that.

The 4chan Sounds Player installation page on Greasy Fork tells me to disable the inline player, which I've tried, and that does solve the frozen soundposts issue and allows them to play video when I hover or click on them, but still no audio. And still no video or audio on the 4chan Sounds popup window (picrel).

It was very well made, by a professional anime studio, voiced by real seiyus and a good animation. The different protagonists are waifus who kick men butts depending on their profession or style.

I have been procrastinating this for a long time. I have three operating systems on my Surface Laptop 3 13.5”: Windows, Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon, and Fedora Linux (6.4.14-200.fc38.x86-64) 38 (Workstation Edition). Fedora was installed after Linux Mint. When I installed Fedora, Linux Mint wouldn't boot from the GRUB installed by Fedora, but it would still boot from the GRUB installed by Linux Mint (but that's not the issue I am concerned with here).

One day (around 6 months ago), I wanted to allocate more storage to the Windows partition and less to the partition containing Fedora. I did this from GParted on a live USB containing Fedora Linux 37 (Workstation). It worked, but after doing so, I noticed that my Fedora would no longer boot from GRUB. Because Windows would still boot, I didn't give this much attention for a while.

Now, around six months later, I've come back to this issue. I notice that Fedora will still not boot, but for some reason Linux Mint is able to boot from the GRUB installed by Fedora now. Using Linux Mint as well as the GRUB (version 2.06) command line, I was able to see that the partition used to access vmlinuz-6.4.14-200.fc38.x86_64 and initramfs-6.4.14-200.fc38.x86_64.img still contained those files and retained the same UUID. The root partition for Fedora also contained the same files and retained the same UUID as before. When I boot Fedora without the "rhgb quiet" option, the boot hangs at "Booting a command list".

Perhaps more concerning is the fact that I could no longer boot from the exact same live USB as before. Thinking it might be a live USB issue, I tried using Fedora Media Writer to create a live USB with the same exact version of Fedora that it contained previously, but the result was the same (hangs when trying to boot from GRUB).

Any ideas?

There's a movie I saw about 24 years ago, I think. The movie is NOT Wild America (Wild America has some similar elements but is a completely different kind of film). The movie I'm looking for must be from the 90s or very late 80s.
It's about a family that goes on vacation north, almost to Canada, and the kids make a movie about a native myth about bears.

Here's the order or events as I remember:

>The dad worked at a photo developing place, and didn't like the job very much. He used to dream about being a film maker.
>His son (11 to 13 or so) meets his very weird friend, and they go home.
>The dad tells the kids about filming, shows them his old equipment, and then basically says "fick it, if you kids wanna make a movie, let's".
>So the whole family (dad, son, younger daughter, mom) plus the son's friend go north where they know people, and visit a place where a Native American works with bears.
>The Native American fellow tells them a legend about "mother bear", and they film him narrating. Then they film bears, and they edit it so the narration goes over footage of bears.
>Then they go back home, and show their movie to the community, and everyone loves it.
