OK, so let’s take Kevin Spacey as an example. With these allegations, he is removed from his series. This kind of thing has happened before.

But what now? What can he do to earn a living? Can he be a garbageman? do you really want a sexual predator out there picking up your garbage? How can you support a company that would be so totally without ethics to employ a sexual predator?

Does he then turn into Jean Valjean, unable to work anywhere because nobody wants him around?

I can attest to Art’s comments about the quality of the Tinkerbell series over any of the Barbie videos. We haven’t kept up with the Tinkerbell series, but those Barbie movies are ROUGH.

Water World also didn’t deserve to be on that list one little bit.

Battlefield: Earth… Oh yeah. That movie was terrible. I saw it opening day. I read the book in High School and really enjoyed it. The movie had almost nothing to do with the book.

I would imagine that they are letting the licensing expire on Mad Max on Netflix so that they can prep a new DVD/Blu Ray release in conjunction with Fury Road.

I’m with the ladies on this one.

Sam, you are right. This one shouldn’t be recommended by anyone.

I read this book when it came out. I was reading a lot of fantasy at the time (I was 16.) It just felt like a stunted, outsider-written book. I had no clue about Dark Tower and all of that other nonsense, but having read a lot of prophetic fantasy, the thing that to this day still sticks with me is just how HORRID the prophecy plot was written and handled. It was so… straight forward.

“Hey, there is a prophecy.”

“Really? Should we do something about it?”

“Hmm not sure. But it’s a prophecy, so it’s prophetic and whatnot.”

Prophecy happens because the book says so.

The End.

This is pretty much all I remember about the book. I’ve never seen any reason to revisit it.
