Pamela Barefoot Events sure did bring Autumnal elegance to life at this Waterfront Wedding in Maryland.
Lauren worked with Shauna and Sierra to design the perfect bridal beauty look to compliment her features and her Anne Barge gown. We have loved the convertible dress trend this season. Lauren’s gown had three styles in one (sleeves, no sleeves and a neck scarf). I love the choice of bouncy blowout curls as her hairstyle to compliment all three versions of her gown. While the bride’s makeup was just sultry enough to enhance her natural beauty while remaining timeless and classic.
The entire team of vendors knocked this one out of the park!

Feast your eyes on the absolute dreamiest moonlit-garden inspired wedding at the Groom’s family home where musical interludes accompanied a five course dinner.
For the bride’s beauty we chose a radiant ethereal vibe and cascading waves. This paired perfectly with her vintage crown, gauzy veil and Danielle Frankel gown.
To beat the 98 degree heat, the couple portraits took place in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery after their first look at the Riggs hotel. It was a magical day!

“I wanted my makeup to have a bright, soft, dewy feel with pinks to play with the indoor garden feel,” she says. “Since the wedding was at the end of the summer, as well, I definitely wanted my skin to have a bronzed and highlighted feel to it.”
Although a lot of her friends had given her advice to wear her hair on her wedding day the way she normally does, she decided to go with an updo instead of wearing it down (her signature). “Weeks before the wedding, when I went to try my dress on for the last time at alterations, I reached out to my hair stylist and said, change of plans—I just want a classic, slicked back, middle-part low bun,” she says. “I figured I’d be happy in the late-summer D.C. humidity to have it up.”
