Jennifer Abruzzo dropped a warning of sorts in her departure note from her post as general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board.
She had been removed by President Donald Trump, part of what some called a purge of key officials the returning president made at both the NLRB and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Those moves have been painted by critics as an attempt to hobble both agencies because it left them without the necessary quorums to fully conduct business.
Abruzzo, in her note Tuesday, said there’s no putting the “genie back in the bottle” as she touted her team’s efforts helping workers realize collective gains from their employers.
