AirBeam for tvOS completes our popular App-suite that turns iPhones, iPads and Macs into flexible remote surveillance cameras. AirBeam streams live video and audio from the cameras and microphones of iPhones, iPods, iPads or Mac computers across the network. The stream can be followed and controlled remotely on another device with the AirBeam-App, a browser or now also from the AppleTV.

]]>To make use of this amazing new feature you need AirBeam for iOS 1.8 and the Galileo platform available from Motrr.com. Galileo currently supports the iPhone 3GS, 4, 4s or iPods up to 4th generation. Support for devices with Apple’s new lightning connector is currently in preparation by Motrr.
You can remotely positioning your docked iPhone or iPod can with AirBeam on another iDevice, with a browser or with AirBeam for Mac (version 1.5 or 1.3 for AirBeam Pro). It is as easy as swiping with your finger across the screen of your monitor view. Velocity of your swipe controls the rotation speed and with a tap you can center the camera on a point of interest.

]]>If activated, AirBeam now automatically takes photo snapshots in case of detected events, attaches them to an email and sends it to a configurable email address. It is even possible to automatically record short video clips and attach them to the mails. A rate limiter allows you to limit the number of emails being sent if there is too much action going on in front of the camera.
And of course AirBeam 1.6 has been optimized for the latest hardware and software Apple brought to us. AirBeam now takes full advantage of the additional performance the iPhone 5 provides. We were able to almost double the video encoding speed and frame rates compared to an iPhone 4s, especially at HD resolution. AirBeam now also takes full advantage of the additional screen real estate of an iPhone 5.
