Thanks, it worked. I could add a second dial button and the phone used the correct SIM for dialing – depending on which sim button I pressed.

Have you try to configure here?
Toolbox TAB -> Dual Sim card configuration

I do not have dual sim option present in DW. In facts, calls to both sims can be answered, but I cannot select which sim to use for outgoing calls.

My device is ZTE Nubia Z7 mini. Model number NX507J, nubia UI V2.5.0, Android 4.4.2.

Could you add this to the supported devices?

For the future: Would be possible to associate own colours to sim cards? Or in the best case to give them also own short names (e.g. O2) instead of numbers 1 or 2?

I have the same problem. I tried test-Dual-SIM and my phone (Manufacturer: JIAYU Model:JY-G4) uses two sim card like “Lenovo A630”.
