In 2026/27 we have formalised our approach to the use of photographs. The Ashgrove Rangers club and Queensland Athletics use photographs of members in social posts about athletic events. Please email us if you do not want your images used in posts. We will ensure that Queensland Athletics is also informed of your request.
Explore the rest of our website to find information about the club, news updates, a calendar of upcoming events, our regular training sessions, and more. The website includes an online shop where you can purchase club uniforms, merchandise and books, and you can pay for training sessions.
You can also follow the club on Facebook and Instagram for more updates.
We hope you enjoy your season. Don’t hesitate to come and have a chat with the club committee members or coaches at our training sessions or athletic events.

Ashgrove Rangers is exploring a new partnership with IMPI Sportswear to supply our club’s singlets and crop tops. These garments would match the style worn by the Queensland Athletics team.
To help us plan a potential order we’re asking members to share their interest and likely sizing preferences. Your feedback will guide our decision-making — and while this form is non-binding, it’s essential for gauging interest.
Singlets – $45
The IMPI ASR singlet will closely resemble the current design in terms of colours and logo, but will feature a lighter, slimline cut and updated material for improved comfort and fit.
Available sizes (View the IMPI Size Guide by clicking here)
Crop Tops – $63
We’ve listened to your feedback — previous crop top styles didn’t suit the full age range of our female athletes. IMPI’s design offer an inclusive and comfortable fit. To proceed with an order for the IMPI ASR crop tops, we must meet a minimum order quantity. As we’re placing a smaller order for crop tops (compared to singlets), the unit price is higher.

If you are interested in purchasing ASR uniforms by IMPI, please fill out the form below.
]]>It was probably a suitable warm up for the State Championships at Toogoolowah on Saturday July 12th which is likely to have a similar bunch of springy spectators on hand.
The Sunshine Coast has always had a pretty strong cross country series and the USC club did a great job even though a part of their originally planned course was flooded out by recent rain.
For Ashgrove we were represented by Lilli Chiu, Kitty Stannard, Abbey Gluth, Alex Tams, Lynda Bateson, Ken Hastie, Anthony Wallace and John Purcell so thanks very much to everyone for making the trip and keeping our season hopes alive on the pointscore.
Well done also to Queensland Athletics for having the initiative to include a Sunshine Coast round for the first time in an effort to grow the sport in South-East Queensland.
]]>Like many years it was supposedly Tom’s swansong at the event but we will poke our noses in next year just to check he doesn’t come back one last time.
Many thanks to Tom for all the support and assistance he has given to our club over the years through use of facilities for training, meets and seminars snd also the knowledge transfer he facilitated as Queensland Athletics State Coaching Director in the 1990s for coaches like Marty Lane’s coach Doug Weis.
It’s been an absolute pleasure to deal with a true gentleman of the sport.
