]]>👉 This is where NAVIDUS comes in.
🟠 Launched in September 2026, the three-year research project explores new approaches to navigation under challenging conditions such as darkness and stray light, where conventional camera-based systems reach their limits.
🟠 Together with Hochschule Schmalkalden of Applied Sciences, we are investigating how sensor technologies and intelligent data processing can enable robust positioning without GNSS.
🔵 As consortium leader, ANavS contributes its expertise in navigation, sensor fusion and positioning algorithms.
💡 Because resilient navigation should not depend on perfect conditions.
NAVIDUS is funded by Bundesministerium für Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt as part of Germany’s national navigation programme, with the Deutsche Raumfahrtagentur im DLR, Bonn as project management agency.

The system was developed by us and Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group on behalf of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB).
But what can mPOM do?
🟠 The system locates track-maintenance machines outdoors and in tunnels with an accuracy of up to one meter. At the same time, it automatically documents, with track-level precision, where specific work was performed.
🟠 The collected data is continuously transmitted to the SBB’s SwissTAMP system, where it can be analyzed together with data from the measurement vehicles.
🔵 The result: a reliable data foundation for efficient and proactive track maintenance planning.
Curious? Then visit us at the Rhomberg Sersa Rail Machine AG booth. Our ANavS colleagues Andreas Sperl and Valaenthin Tratter will be on site and look forward to speaking with you in person:

]]>👉 There, we’re putting our products and latest developments through their paces under challenging GNSS jamming conditions and across a wide range of different test scenarios.
🟠 We’re testing our HashtagA-ROX and HashtagA-Shield systems in Hashtagjamming, Hashtagspoofing and Hashtagmeaconing scenarios. In doing so, we’re examining how our latest detection mechanisms and tightly integrated sensor fusion perform when reliable positioning becomes difficult.
🟠 A key focus is on achieving positioning that is as accurate and robust as possible, even in heavily jammed environments. To this end, we are evaluating various systems, configurations, and new developments. The findings will be incorporated into future updates.
🔵 Given the increasingly complex GNSS environment, such tests are becoming more and more important.
👉 A big thank you to the Jammertest team for the excellent organization and the opportunity to test our systems in such an impressive environment under a wide range of conditions! 🙌
Stay tuned—in the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing results, insights, and comparisons here.

]]>🟠 From September 14–18, 2026, we will participate in Jammertest 2026 on Andøya, Norway – one of the world’s largest open-air test events for GNSS and PNT resilience.
Under realistic jamming, spoofing and meaconing scenarios, we will put a broad range of our navigation technology to the test – from our two A-ROX GNSS/INS systems to our latest compact embedded solutions based on the Septentrio mosaic-G5 P8.
A particular focus will be on our two new M.2 solutions:
➡️ ANavS M.2 mosaic-G5 P8 PRO – bringing high-performance GNSS technology into a compact M.2 form factor for seamless integration into mission-critical applications. Its compact design enables rapid integration into unmanned vehicles, mobile command systems, surveillance platforms and other systems requiring reliable positioning in contested or degraded GNSS environments.
➡️ ANavS M.2 mosaic-G5 P8 with ADIS IMU – combining the mosaic-G5 P8 with an integrated high-performance inertial sensor. Together with our tightly coupled A-PNT software engine, it provides a powerful basis for robust GNSS/INS navigation and sensor fusion.
These solutions will be exposed to challenging real-world interference conditions to evaluate how reliably they detect GNSS interference, monitor position integrity and support resilient navigation when satellite signals are disrupted or manipulated.
🔵 Next week, we’ll take you behind the scenes at Jammertest 2026 and share insights into our A-ROX systems, M.2 solutions and real-world testing. Stay tuned!

]]>🔵 GNSS can be affected by multipath, signal blockage, or complete outages. IMUs drift over time. Cameras depend on lighting conditions. LiDAR and radar each have their own strengths—and limitations.
👉 The real value doesn’t come from a single sensor. ➡️ It comes from combining them intelligently.
🟠 By continuously fusing data from GNSS, IMU, LiDAR, cameras, odometry, and other sensors, robust positioning can be maintained—even in environments where individual sensors struggle.
💡 At ANavS, this principle is at the core of our technology. Our sensor fusion algorithms combine complementary information in real time to provide reliable, continuous, and resilient positioning for automated driving, robotics, and other safety-critical applications.
🟠 Because robust positioning isn’t built on one perfect sensor—it’s built on the intelligence of many.

]]>🔵 In urban canyons, tunnels, forests, or under dense foliage, GNSS signals can be reflected, weakened, or completely blocked. Even when a position is still available, its accuracy may already be compromised.
🟠 This is where SENSOR FUSION makes the difference.
🟠 By intelligently combining data from GNSS, IMU, LiDAR, radar, cameras, and additional sensors, reliable positioning can be maintained—even in challenging environments where GNSS alone reaches its limits.
💡 At ANavS, our AI-ROX technology leverages resilient sensor fusion to deliver robust and continuous positioning, enabling safer testing, autonomous driving, and mission-critical applications.

]]>🔵 The problem:
A receiver may calculate an incorrect position without realizing that the navigation data has been manipulated. For autonomous systems or critical infrastructure, this can have serious consequences.
🟠 The solution:
OSNMA (Open Service Navigation Message Authentication) enables the cryptographic authentication of Galileo’s navigation messages. This allows the receiver to verify that the data is genuine and unaltered.
💡 The Benefit
OSNMA does not make GNSS more accurate, but it does make it more trustworthy—an important foundation for secure and robust navigation. Combined with sensor fusion and integrity monitoring, it provides additional reliability.
🟠 At ANavS, we offer solutions for secure and robust navigation—through the intelligent combination of GNSS, sensor fusion, and integrity monitoring.

]]>👉 GNSS disruptions caused by jamming, spoofing, or meaconing are on the rise worldwide. Manipulated or disrupted position data can lead to wrong decisions with far-reaching consequences.
The real challenge today is no longer calculating a position—but being able to trust its integrity.
🔵 The benefit:
Resilient navigation builds trust in every position.
Those who continuously monitor the integrity of their navigation data can detect disruptions early, minimize risks, and make informed decisions even under difficult conditions.
🟠 The ANavS solution:
With A-Shield, ANavS combines intelligent sensor fusion, multi-layer GNSS monitoring, AI-powered threat detection, and Galileo OSNMA. This enables early detection of tampering attempts and continuous assessment of the integrity of navigation data.
Because resilient navigation means more than just precision—it builds trust.

]]>👉 The biggest challenge for vehicle localization isn’t at the tunnel entrance, but at the tunnel exit.
👉 This is because the first GNSS signals are often still unstable there. Multipath effects, signal shadowing, and signal reflections can interfere with positioning.
🔵 How does ANavS solve this problem?
Through intelligent sensor fusion. While traveling through the tunnel, the vehicle’s position is continuously tracked using inertial sensors and other vehicle sensors. At the exit, returning GNSS signals are integrated into the localization only after a quality and plausibility check.
The result:
🟠 Continuous vehicle localization—before, during, and after the tunnel.
🟠 Fewer position jumps upon GNSS re-acquisition.
🟠 Resilient positioning even in challenging environments.
💡 It is precisely these seamless transitions that are crucial for resilient navigation.
