FBG Duck, whose real name was Carlton Weekly, was shot and killed outside a Chicago store in August 2020. His girlfriend and another shopper were wounded in the shooting.
One of the shooters, Charles Liggins, was convicted on five of seven counts. Jurors found Liggins guilty of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, using a weapon in the deadly shooting and injuring the late rapper’s girlfriend. The 32-year-old man was found not guilty of charges regarding the other shopper.
The getaway drivers, Kenneth Roberson and Tacarlos Offerd, were convicted of five counts. Roberson avoided convictions on the same two counts as Liggins. Offerd was found not guilty of two counts connected to the shooting of FBG Duck’s girlfriend.
Marcus Smart, another shooter, was found guilty of five counts. Jurors cleared him of shooting FBG Duck’s girlfriend.
Christopher Thomas, yet another shooter, was convicted of three counts in FBG Duck’s murder. The jury found him not guilty on charges related to the other two victims.
Ralph Turpin, the man who called the O-Block members to attack FBG Duck, was found guilty of murder and conspiracy to commit murder. All six men face life in prison.
FBG Duck’s mother LaSheena Weekly reportedly had tears in her eyes in the courtroom. She celebrated the verdict on social media.
“GUILTY,” she wrote on Instagram Stories. “ALL THEY ASS IS GUILTY.”
Weekly jumped on Instagram Live after leaving the courtroom. A reporter caught up with her for comments on the verdict.
“They’re done,” she said. “The whole crew. O-Block and everything of it.”
Weekly told viewers she would host a “justice served” party in honor of her son on Wednesday night.

West celebrated his 46th birthday last month. During his actual party, a photo of himself and Gangsta Gibbs started to circulate. This is where the rumors initially began swirling.
Keep in mind, Gibbs and Ye had some interesting dealings in the past. In 2016, producer Madlib gave both men a few beats. As the saying goes, great minds think alike—and they both chose the same beat.
It turned out Yeezy’s version ended up on the Kendrick Lamar-assisted “No More Parties in L.A.” from The Life of Pablo.
Gibbs offered his own rendition to the world via SoundCloud. Unfortunately, it was immediately yanked down, but West’s track stayed in heavy rotation.
In 2021, the Gary native popped up the with the same beat for “Cocaine Parties in L.A.” from the Piñata (Deluxe Edition). The track was again snatched down from most streaming platforms. Yeezus was not playing—allegedly.
Now it appears as though the two artists have made amends. On Tuesday (July 4), an interesting innuendo grew some legs after a Reddit post proclaimed “Ye has been working with Freddie Gibbs.”
Hit-Boy later discussed the status of his current relationship with Kanye West. He professed, “I ain’t got no issues with him.” The veteran beatmaker verified something quite intriguing. When the issue of who he was working with arose, Hit-Boy affirmed the assertion.
“I heard Freddie’s [Gibbs] working with him right now,” the interviewer said, to which Hit-Boy agreed, “I seen—I heard about that.”

Keep in mind, the musician’s latest release—The Age of Pleasure—also depicted a censored view of her chest. Perhaps, this au natural version of the artist is her most desired one. Who knows?
Obviously, Janelle Monáe has been afforded the opportunity to share her creativity and her curves. The question remains, how much is the public willing to accept?
Perhaps the track sparked the mayhem or the rapper’s rhetorical call and response incited the pistol-toting shooters. Whatever the case, it got wild.
While poetic license is a thing, it appears as though Boosie didn’t understand his audience. As the show closed, the Tulsa Police Department was called out to help with crowd control. Hundreds of folks peacefully exited the venue.

Yak is (hopefully) maturing into the man he’s destined to become, even though the spotlight has boldly displayed most of his mistakes. Some of these missteps have made the public question his ability to handle the toll of being a celebrity.
Perhaps, that’s what motivated an unnamed fan to offer some stinging advice. Although it was harsh, it definitely resonated with the lyricist. While in the midst of a recent Instagram Live video, he responded to the critique.
“Damn, what kind of person are you?” he asked. “This muthaf##a said: ‘You need to go back to jail and sober up, Yak, for real, for real.’”
Without a doubt, the suggestion seemed to shake the artist. Emotion definitely rose to the surface. His eyes threatened to spill his pain.
Rather than lashing out with a litany of insults, Kodak Black chose to use his words. He stated, “Why do you feel like that’s the answer to my whatever you feel like? Why do you feel like that’s the answer to my whatchamacallit?”
Next, the entertainer dug a bit deeper. He went on to share how, in the past, his life’s calling has been both questioned and mocked. To that, the “Tunnel Vision” spitter elaborated, “S##t, many is called few is chosen, bro. When muthaf##kas know you chosen and s##t, that’s when they torment you.”
Soon, Black succinctly summed up his stance. “Bruh, I’m just following my divine self. However God whatchacallit, I’m just going through with this s##t.”
While Kodak Black may be far from perfect, he should be afforded some Grace. Is he following his calling?

Perhaps the time the funny man previously spent with Yeezy’s fam helped to soothe his troubled mind. Well, these purported sources didn’t have much to say about that, but we are focused on the struggling thespian.
Keep in mind, the self-proclaimed “King of Staten Island” has been open about his mental health issues. During an interview with actress Glen Close, Davidson detailed his ongoing struggles with Borderline Personality Disorder.
His vulnerability has been on full display. More recently, he drove over a fire hydrant and smashed through a random house. But Pete Davidson has regularly sought therapy for an array of mental health issues.
The actor is currently being treated at a Pennsylvania facility, the same place that helped his homeboy, John Mulaney, who wrestled with alcohol and drug issues.
Page Six says someone close to Davidson said he’s “taking a well deserved break so he can focus on himself and learn to better deal with his PTSD issues.”
But the question remains, did Kanye West trigger Davidson’s PTSD?

]]>As reported by 2Cool2Blog, the Florida-bred rapper appeared to be the main attraction. By all means, a steady stream of currency rained down on the floor, and an impromptu performance followed.
Understandably, Kodak couldn’t contain his joy as the Super Gremlin spits lyrics to his hit song “Skrilla.” He’s seen flashing his smile several times throughout the video, rivaling that of his sparkling jewelry. Not only did he make it rain, Kutthroat Bill also showed off a few dance moves. Surely, these impressive maneuvers demanded a lot of attention.
