There are people involved with the city wide open studio situation, though I cannot verify the nature of any pertinent facial hair, who went through the list of artists and “curated” certain special ones for a “tour,” who got a magic printout certificate identifier thing beside their setups and presumably are highlighted on the map given to visitors. I had the privilege of being placed immediately beside one of those people and getting to see my art swiftly avoided in favor of that more orderly display across two days. I began to feel desperate for validation, so to some degree I will take what I can get. I have plenty of punchable characters so I cannot fault anybody for feeling a desire for thematically appropriate violence.

Oh beans I did not actually get the thing set up yet. I have been all over the place trying to find a situation that works. I started getting paranoid about using a system that would force people to send a payment before I even knew what they were asking me for.

The concept of art exhibitions are funny to me to think of. Whenever I hear it, have this image in my head that stuck-up, big bearded, serious looking art critics wearing glasses with high dioptries go there, closely examine the pictures (which are like made of two curved lines), and say things like “This piece demonstrates the sense of pre-adolescent fears and tension!”

And then, having all… THIS! On an exhibition! If I was stumbling across this place… no, even if I was deliberatly going there by will, I would hardly believe it that it’s there! All this zany, mischievous and patheticly fun genious can be contained on real paper and held safely at one place? And that a humanoid organism is reponsible for it? How can the visitors be so calm about it? I would probably even punch you in the face* to check and believe it!

*or probably not because my powers are limited
