Hi Ethan and Ingrid,
Such a nice surprise to “visit” the SOUTHWEST from the comfort of my chair looking out at 2 feet of snow.
You had a great trip and great birds! I liked your idea to bring along a hummingbird feeder. I guess I’ll have to wait until May 1 to hang mine.
Glad to see another chapter about your travels. Maybe a first for the dog??

I have missed your adventures! I can’t imagine driving that far to glimpse a bird, but I know that’s what you do. I am off to Costa Rica next week for a non-birding trip, though I know I’ll see plenty of hummingbirds. An actual adventure, not just enjoying your 2026 calendar!
