I Googled “I hate Starbucks” this morning because I’m so disgusted over how much one of my friends is such a Starbucks freak. It’s like she gets her sense of self-worth and IMPORTANCE from that stupid “designer” coffee crap. Why the unpronounceable drinks? Why the stupid names for all their products and sizes? It’s so pretentious, bougie and stupid. I feel like I would need to learn to speak Starbucks just to even order an f-ing cup of coffee.
What is the allure? The name? Yeah, it sounds trendy and somewhat cool…would people flock to it if they called themselves something like … oh I don’t know, let me see—“Tim Horton’s”?
I doubt it.
I’m just really disappointed with people who think they are so Precious, so special, that they need a $5 cup of unpronounceable dreck, to prove how special they are

I agree that I should include property management fees when I expect a passive income from renting out my property. My grandmother has this beautiful beach house upstate that we don’t know what to do with. So, I think the best solution is to seek out a good agent that can help us lease it to good tenants.

Thank you for doing this challenge. I believe people dont realize how difficult it is. I am 66 and receive snap benefits. Thankfully i only have to feed me. My daughter is grown. And you are correct about the microwave. Mine went and my daughter surprised me with a new one and it wasn’t easy for her either. Also, do you know you can buy soda and candy with SNAP but not toilet paper?

I like your example in number 1. I don’t think may people look at stocks versus homes in that light. They should teach facts like this in schools.

Very informative tips backed by easy to understand examples. Having a good investment in a well-paying rental property is a huge blessing but for that to happen you need to play your game of investment right with proper goals and a plan of action in place.
