FULL MOON IN 16 DEGREES LEO
We are moving towards a big, bold full moon in the fire sign of Leo. We have been in the waxing phase of the moon over the last two weeks and so now the energy builds up slowly and as with all the moon phases, it happens softly and subtly. As with all Full Moons it is a time of culmination, illumination and then of letting go as we then clean the slate and prepare for the new cycle to being again.
Leo is ruled by the sun so here we have the full force of this powerful luminary shining in a certain part of our birth chart and therefore, our lives, helping us to release what is no longer serving us but has also left us with new insights through this process. There is also a T-Square operating at this time with the Sun in Aquarius, the Moon in Leo and Uranus in Taurus, so there will be some strong Uranian energy (ruler of Aquarius) so it will have that tension around areas that need to change in some way. This really may feel challenging and uncomfortable yet it will be for our highest good as the great awakener – Uranus always pushes us from behind to break free of what is holding us back, even if it means upsetting the ‘status quo’ as this is the energy that demands action, and under the gaze of a powerful full moon and particularly in Leo, which is about our strength, courage and growth, we will really feel the urge to jump! Most of us will know what or where this is in our lives as it will have been a theme for some time and the full moon illuminates and releases.
We also see Pluto finally changing signs from Capricorn (ruling authority, governments, restrictions, boundaries, large corporations etc) into Aquarius (community groups, humanity, revolutions, independence) on 23/3. It has been in Capricorn since early 2008, and we all remember that year for the GFC. This is the nature of Capricorn to stir up the financial markets, the power structures and authoritarian arenas as that is his domain. While Pluto flirts with Aquarius in 2023, it won’t be consistently in the sign until late 2024. In all, Pluto will spend between 19 and 20 years in the sign. While Pluto is in Aquarius, we take social structures and politics especially seriously, and we seek major reform in these areas.
Astrologically, Aquarius has to do with the subject of change. If Capricorn was about fixed structures, laws and rules, Aquarius is about breaking rules, balancing differences, justice and freedom. If we look at the consequences of the last transit of Pluto through Aquarius (1777/78 to 1798), for example, it brought an end to the estate-based society, a clear separation of church and state, human and civil rights were formulated and freedom of trade was introduced. For the rulers, this must have been quite an uncomfortable time. We must not make the mistake of singling out individual historical events and viewing them as the sole manifestation of a particular astrological constellation. History and humanity itself are much more complex. With Pluto’s entry into Aquarius, total chaos will not immediately erupt, nor will eternal world peace and pure bliss. Pluto’s entry into Aquarius will bring us new ideas, new themes, and new focuses. We will become more aware of inequality and injustice. Our focus will be on independence and freedom, emancipation, renewal, decentralisation and networking.
We also see Saturn (ruler of Capricorn, – structure boundaries, restrictions, rules & law) moving out of Aquarius and into Pisces on 8/3 until May 2025.This will bring another shift of energy and a reality check. When Saturn moved into Aquarius in March 2020, the whole world was turned on its head, with the global pandemic. The restrictions and rules about just about everything were imposed upon us, it was very immediate and widespread. The world was in lockdown. We experienced anti-governmental uprisings, growing economic crisis, and all matters of political instability. Also, we saw a lot of change and progress with regards to gender identity, and non-binary and transgender awareness. Such is the power of Saturn and in Aquarius which rules humanity.
Interestingly, Saturn is the co-ruler of both Capricorn and Aquarius. Although we consider Capricorn to be the more picture-perfect representation of Saturnian temperament, Aquarius is also about structure. However, Aquarian social structure gathers around pure ideals, whereas Capricornian social structure is a more of a top-down construction. Saturn may feel a little lost in Pisces however, as he usually likes to build in a slow, methodical and steady way. Pisces’ Neptunian immateriality is basically in opposition to Saturn’s earthy desire to build. Saturn is related to Kronos, the Greek god of time, while minutes are elastic and subjective in Neptune’s realm. Neptune dreams and turns inward; Saturn sees itself in the context of the society and focuses outward. On one hand, we may see the materialisation of our dreams. Saturn passing through Pisces can bring grounding in spiritual realms and practical applications of magical frameworks. We may experience a best-of-both worlds scenario.
On the other hand, we may experience the dissolution of long upheld-structures that we take for granted. Impending financial collapse comes to mind. Also, we may face the desire for escapism, or illusion and deception in social structures and government.Collective ambitions become less focused on the material and more focused on the spiritual. So it will be really interesting to see how this all plays out in the collective and also in our personal lives. These are juicy times we’re living in. There has to be a breaking down of certain structures before we see the reforms or changes, whatever they may be. The interesting conversation we should be having is around building deep and meaningful pathways. We are being prompted to be honest with ourselves. The T-Square will help us to examine where it is we need to show up. Where have we cut ourselves off from our boldness or true essence?
Decide we really already know where and how we need to show up, whether it be to have a peaceful day; not needing to be on centre stage or screaming from the rooftops! This Full Moon ties in with us healing our inner child, so play and enjoy the simple things. Leo rules the heart. So it’s good to remember our heart generates the largest electromagnetic field in the body. It is about 60 times greater in amplitude compared to the brain. Tune into your heart, take time to draw deep slow breaths and activate that ‘relaxation response’ which can calm our nervous system and have untold health benefits.
Leo, speaks of strength, generosity of spirit and is relating to our life force. We are powerful beings and so let this beautiful full moon remind you of this. The healing aspect between Chiron (the wounded healer) and the Sun and Moon is harmonious so that will help us gain more confidence and courage with these new insights. Working on our own wounds or pain inevitable provides the potential for us to commence the new lunar phase with more insight, strength and wisdom. Shake off your manes, and put yourselves in the centre, do something you love to make you feel special and nurtured. Own who you are regardless of where you’re at, and you will be radiating that love for yourself out to others. Come back to what is truly meaningful to you and connect with your heart centre.
Feel your lightness and may your inner light shine! 🙏🌞 🌝 🌟

Hi everyone, and welcome back to my blog. I’ve taken quite a long break and needed to sort out my life in different areas, and also find my inspiration to write again. I took on other forms of study such as Meditation Teaching and holistic counselling and found that the teachings around that really helped me to find my centre again and it felt ok to take a step back and recharge my batteries for whatever lay ahead. I also moved home and worked through covid in another area of my work and so it’s all a part of those internal ‘changing of gears’ we go through. I hope you’ve all managed to find some stability after what has been, and continues to be, a very challenging time for many.
So, here we are rapidly heading towards the end of 2022 and no doubt contemplating what might be looming in the astrological weather chart. Earlier this month, Neptune turned direct after being retrograde since June 28th. We may be able to see more clearly into situations that were clouding our better judgements. Confusing situations become clearer, and we should be able to apply our creative talents in a more practical way. It’s a great time to find that faith in our own abilities. We should find inspiration and act upon them more easily. Have faith in your own dreams and visions.
On December 21st Jupiter moves out of watery Pisces and into the fire sign of Aries. It will stay here until May 16th 2023.This transit encourages us to embrace our enterprising spirit and independence. This should bring us the maximum opportunity for growth and expansion in whatever area Jupiter resides in as it transits your chart. Of course how Jupiter is going to expand and help you grow in that area of your life also depends upon what sign Jupiter is in. This is why it is helpful to have your own birth chart and know these finer details. Let me know if I can assist you with that.
We make our own opportunities as Aries is the pioneering sign and very much about standing on one’s own two feet and being cardinal in it’s action also gives fuel to this area as well. We take the lead, initiate, inspire others, and demonstrate enthusiasm and courage. Prosperous areas are ones that allow us to head and lead, and to innovate. Faith in ourselves can bring about positive circumstances or good luck.
On December 23rd we have the New Moon in the 1st degree of practical and earthy Capricorn. We recognise that having some boundaries and rules in place frees us up to enjoy ourselves as we meet our responsibilities. This lunation offers us the opportunity to set practical, attainable goals and work on developing maturity, self-discipline, and common sense. We’re prompted to consider and prepare for the future. The energies are shifting from Sagittarius as it’s just after the Solstice on the 21st. So now we are feeling what it’s like to live within limits and setting boundaries. This time blends well with what we all tend to do closer to the new year is when we make those resolutions and pull back on bad habits, like over eating, over spending etc.
We now feel the importance of considering the consequences of our actions. A disciplined mind leads to happiness – quoting the Dalai Lama. We are dealing with structures when it comes to Saturn ruled Capricorn. What is not serving us well anymore? Saturn reminds us it’s not just about ‘me.’ There are limits around the decisions we make especially when we are looking at gratification. Having six planets in earth signs is another reminder we need to tend to the practical side of life and we are being prompted to tend to those chores that need attention or things we’ve put off for a while. Saturn is also about saying ‘NO!’ Say it without fear. It may be of great benefit especially when we’ve said YES too often and may have overloaded our schedules.
Mars is still in retrograde motion and will be until mid January, so our energy has been compromised. If you feel extra tired it may also be because of the powerhouse planet Mars has the brakes on, however it’s given a negative rap mostly and that is not always the best advice. There is always a positive spin for retrograde planets. Mars retrograde usually happens every two years so it’s not as common as Mercury’s retrograde passage.Despite all its challenges, the Mars retrograde could appear as something more positive. Daily lives can be gruelling, and today’s hustle culture makes it more difficult to take it down a notch and indulge in some self-care. However, this could change. This astrophysical occurrence is a well-disguised opportunity for us to change old patterns, optimally channel our emotional energy and take stock of things on the financial, personal and professional levels. It’s a beautiful time to get in touch with ourselves and find out where we can shine and to get honest with ourselves, not to be afraid around all of that. Mars retrograde asks us how we stoke our own inner furnaces and how we motivate ourselves. Get curious about why we feel we have to motivate ourselves into ‘getting through’ certain schedules and how we force ourselves into a particular shape or form. Let go of actions or routines that feel heavy and burning you out perhaps. Feel your own emotions about where you feel exhausted, and be in time with yourselves.
So I’ll leave it there and hope this long awaited post finds you well and feeling inspired and not too tired after what has been a very trying time during the last couple of years. Hopefully you will continue to be inspired and find fresh ways of creating new pathways that benefit you and brings great joy and and satisfaction. Remember to take time out of each day to get grounded, and don’t get too caught up in the busy-ness of life that it restricts you in being kind to the one person who really matters – you! May your end of year celebrations be happy and the new year bring peace, love and great inspiration!
Thank you! Anne ♥

SYD 6/6 – 7.14AM LOND 5/5 – 7.14PM NYC 5/6 – 2.14PM
Here we are on eve of the eclipse season. This one is pretty special as ordinarily we would have only groups of two eclipses in the one period of time but we will have three happening concurrently for this season. The first happening on the 5th or 6th of June, depending on where you are on the planet.

This Lunar Eclipse will have a noticeable affect on us for approximately three months. As with all eclipses, they follow the nodal transits which amplify the areas for growth and release in our lives. This particular eclipse is on the Sth Node of Sagittarius so if you know where that is in your chart, it will shine a light on that specific house or area of your life. Let me know if you would like me to help you with that if you don’t already know.
So with Sagittarius and Gemini being highlighted here we will be asked to explore and examine the higher mind (Sagittarius) and also with the lower or cognitive mind (Gemini). These energies are what we call ‘mutable’ so there is much room for movement and change at this time and particularly if you have mutable signs in your birth chart and even more so if they are on or near 15 degrees of the signs – Gemini, Sag or Virgo. Either way, we are all affected to some point, but it will be felt more if in certain houses – the angles, or around these degrees.
Also we have this full moon opposing the Sun and Venus in Gemini and forming a T-square to Mars and Neptune in Pisces. There is a real call to action happening here. The push from Mars in Pisces is around health, medicine and is watery and deep in its concern for our need for connection and spiritual purpose. With Venus currently in retrograde motion, we are feeling the need to review how our relationships and values systems are fairing. We have literally been socially isolated and in some cases, quarantined and it is no mistake that this global pandemic is reflecting back to us the importance of what we value most and also how the financial shifts are forcing us to question how we’ve been running our lives and under what kind of system. On a global level for example, look at how China is working to rewrite the ‘one system two countries’ framework with Hong Kong. Look at the current chaos and uprising in the US with the racial riots. Institutions all over the world have been rocked under these tense transits over the last year in particular. This has had a huge impact on global financial markets, health, job security and all of us are getting some kind of shake up under these tumultuous conditions. This eclipse will be most visible around Australia, Asia, Africa and parts of Europe, not unlike the Full Moon eclipse in Jan this year.
Lunar Eclipses are like super Full Moons and they tend to make us subjective about relationships and the feminine principles. Having Venus retrograde until June 26th magnifies these areas even more right now. Deeply buried emotions may come to the surface for healing. It really is a potent time for personal awareness and epiphanies. The square aspect to Mars in Pisces could see us taking action on where we may be lacking in some areas of the senses and so provoking us to tend to some personal challenges that are laid bare. With the Sun in Gemini squaring Mars in Pisces it’s all about the ego, mobility, action, communication, health and making things happen. From the 11th – 14/6, Mars will conjunct Neptune so it will be imperative that we check in to see we are coming from a good place and that how we operate will be better if done for the greater good and not only for our own ego. Be aware of your intentions and think beyond the self.
Mercury is slowing down for his Retrograde phase in Cancer which will be from 19/6 and going direct on 13/7. Although the shadow period will be from around the 10/6 so be mindful of decisions, communications, plans and arrangements etc. With Mercury being in watery and nurturing Cancer, the communication is very different to the energy of airy and mercurial Gemini. This is about connecting the head and the heart. The urge to protect and nurture comes forward in us. It’s a sensitive time so thinking about our feelings before expressing them will be important. Use your emotional awareness and maybe post-phone if you feel that now is not the time to discuss certain important issues, especially with Venus in Gemini and being retrograde. Venus goes direct on 26/6 so we will be operating under a busy sky with the eclipse season and these tense aspects and transits. It may be easier in late July to tackle those personal problems as the communication may be easier at that time rather than in the middle of these retrogrades and discordant energies.
This eclipse kicks off a rare extended eclipse season with the three instead of the usual two. With this one being on the South Node we can ask what beliefs are being challenged for us right now and what we may need to shed and let go for our inner personal growth. With the Sun being soon conjunct to Venus Retrograde it is about our hearts and what we love and value. It is so important to be kind to ourselves and each other. There is a real feeling of a lack of clarity globally so of course we all feel this internally as well. A positive aspect in amongst this is the sextile between Mercury and Uranus. One that can bring in new and innovative ideas and shifts in energy. Mercury in Cancer can bring a fresh perspective on the home front and connection well with Uranus it can be about technology so no wonder we’re seeing many working from home and finding alternate ways of conducting business. We are opening ourselves up to the higher principals of love and wisdom, especially with Venus Retrograde and Mars in Pisces – triggering a heightening of passion. Let love come through as the more authentic power during this time.
Lunar eclipses are about exposing the shadows, forcing to the surface many secrets that have been buried for a long time. People are crying out for social and moral justice. This Full Moon and Solar Eclipse reminds us to speak our truths and to communicate clearly. Real change happens when we all pull together and call for better and healthier systems to provide a framework for the fundamentals of human rights.
Take care and stay well and be kind to each other during this incredible time of growth and expansion.

FULL MOON IN 17 deg 20′ SCORPIO
SYD – 7/5 – 8:45pm NYC – 7/5 – 6:45am. LON 7/5 – 11.45am

Welcome to this full moon in Scorpio, a ‘Super Moon’ and the third one in a row. Which means it’s very close to the earth and appears so large. It will however bring a big energy being in the powerhouse sign of the Scorpion. It should bring some breakthroughs in research and within the political arena. Money, investments and all that may have not have been revealed will surely come to the surface on the back of this energy. It is also a time for us personally for some deep contemplation. We rarely escape having to come to grips with some deep emotions during this time and it all depends on what we are dealing with, but it can sometimes be a little unsettling but always for the better, so hang in there!
The great thing here is that this moon is making a lovely water trine (harmonious) to Neptune in Pisces. So this will bring moments of great inspiration, creativity and in a really divinely guided way. This is so helpful in this time of social isolation or at times, a lock down. As frustrating as this may be we also have an opportunity for great ideas to manifest. We will also be asked to question what and where we may have given our power away and where we need to make changes. The more we connect with our inner selves the better we can connect to others. This is a really important time to find our authenticity and be totally honest with ourselves. This may feel like we are being reborn and very much transformed. Just like the phrase – a Phoenix rising out of the Ashes; a vision that describes the alchemy at work during this powerful Scorpio full moon.
We also have a bit of celestial traffic going on at this time that I might touch on. The moon’s north & south nodes have just shifting from Cancer / Capricorn into the Gemini / Sagittarius axis. This is a very different mode of operation for us all. Gemini is the conscious mind ruled by curious Mercury. So the change from Cancer – family, the emotions and very much about nurturing functions is now more about the discernment between the emotional triggers and the facts. The ‘feeling’ nature is not as attached to the actual circumstances in our lives. The NN is about what we should be moving towards, like our ‘true north.’ It’s about growth and expansion. The SN in Sagittarius speaks to belief systems and consciousness and now needing this left brain to merge with the right brain in order to expand one’s belief systems. The lower vibration of Sagittarius tends to make one feel they are right all the time and refuses to take on new information or concepts. Assuming we know what others are thinking, so ask the questions and also work on really listening.
Also this new phase is very reflective of this surge in technology lately. Especially since Venus has now moved into Gemini as of 3/4 and with the onset of Covid-19. She stays here until August as she goes Retrograde on 14/5. This is not then a great time to decide to marry or start what may look like a serious commitment in a relationship. The retrograde motion and especially with the planet of love and relationships – Venus, can really present some U-turns and speed bumps. I would recommend waiting until at least mid August for any serious commitment or clear communication around these issues. Also we’ll see Mercury retrograde from mid June to mid July, so another reason to be patient and see it out until calmer energies prevail in the middle of 2020. The retrogrades will make us all feel that the year is dragging somewhat as well, already a very strange year indeed.
This is a great year for introspection however. The earth is feeling the benefits with less pollution and human traffic in general, as different as it is for many, it’s definitely a year of shifting from one reality to another. On the 12/5 Saturn stations for his retrograde journey in Aquarius to the 30/9 and then it’s back into Capricorn. He moves into Capricorn again as he moves backwards on 3/7, so this freeing up of constrictions is evident with the swings between Aquarius (freedom) and Capricorn (restrictions, boundaries).
With Mercury moving into Gemini on 12/5 we will feel a speeding up in general as this is Gemini’s ruler and Gemini does not do ‘slow’ very well. Of course the retrograde motion may put the brakes on in mid June so avoid any big financial decisions or buying or selling of investments or housing etc. during this time frame. We have a lot of planets going retrograde this year. Mercury on 12/5, Venus on 14/5, Jupiter on 15/5, Saturn on 12/5 Uranus on 15/8, Neptune on 23/6 & Pluto on 26/4. The outer planets aren’t really felt in the same way as the closer personal planets such as Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter.
So with this powerfully intense full moon in Scorpio, just be aware of the closures, secrets, possible betrayals and endings in your life. If you know what house the moon is in it will really help you see where this focus is. Trust and betrayals are highlighted. Scorpio and his modern ruler – Pluto are both related to sexual matters, wealth, other people’s money, the psyche. Again, secrets may be revealed in any or all of these arena’s. Also in the world at large. Jupiter as well will help to open this up as he resides also in Capricorn as does Pluto, ruling corporations and big business in general. Also at this time Venus in Gemini makes a square aspect to Neptune in Pisces. Gemini = information and Neptune = lack of clarity and deception. There are many layers of truth everywhere at this time and also a yearning for romantic love with Venus aspecting the visionary and dreamy Neptune. It’s not so comfortable especially with this current social distancing, but it can shine a light on the struggles of any relationships. It’s not all negative though as we are seeing some really beautiful expressions of love and compassion during this incredible time. Scorpio helps us all to dig deep and explore the depths of our souls. He has a way of shining a laser beam on certain issues and helps us to ultimately achieve great results for our highest good.
I wish you all well and hope you are well and thriving in your own individual ways. Dig deep and keep positive, practice daily meditations, commune with nature, take time to think about how your life can better serve you and how you can better serve the world around you.

NEW MOON IN TAURUS

Welcome to this most incredible time in our evolution! What a time it is. I’m choosing to use the New Moon in Taurus for this post, however there is so much going on right now it’s kind of fair to say this really is not the usual ‘New Moon’ touchy – feely all will be well & make a wish’ kind of post. Of course it will be different for each of us but let’s not kid ourselves, this year of 2020 is a monumental time of great change. That is never easy, however it it essential. It can kick up all kinds of anxiety and there are real reasons for this, no doubt some people have lost loved ones, their jobs, or they are in fear of losing them. We are all being challenged by this social isolation and a limiting of our regular freedom to go and do what we please most of the time. Depending on where you live, what country, what line of work you are in, what level of debt you may have, it will affect us all differently. However the theme for us all is absolutely about rethinking how we have been living our lives and so we are being asked to reassess where and how we can make the necessary changes so we can thrive and move forward into the new world that awaits us. This planet is on pause big time!
So, this New Moon in earthy, sensual Taurus has a very different feel to it on this particular lunation. The main reason is that the planet of change and revolution – Uranus, which is in Taurus, is in a pretty challenging square aspect to Saturn in Aquarius. So if the Moon and the Sun will park there, right next to Uranus in Taurus, this square is going to really present a lot of frustration for us mere mortals wallowing in self isolation and financial uncertainty. I apologise early for my already pessimistic sounding post….but please remember, there is always a silver lining! As always the new moon phase is known as a time for setting your intentions, planting the seeds for what what lies ahead. We may be in for some shocks and unexpected surprises with this kind of aspect. This can be both physical and metaphorical. Considering the current climate we are already witnessing huge financial constraints, so no doubt this is only beginning, so hold on to your hats.
The symbolism around these transpersonal planets of Saturn, Pluto and Uranus is clearly centred around limitations, restrictions, denial of freedom and deep transformation. Saturn loves the boundaries and works to restrict and ground us, Uranus cries out for freedom and rebellion and forges new and innovative ways of doing things. So with this square aspect between Saturn and Uranus during the already intense placement of the sun and moon next to Uranus, we get a sense that there is real business to be dealt with here. There is friction and a real frustration as the two forces contradict each other, yet still speak to us of the importance of adherence for a better way forward. The emergence of the virus covid-19 is a manifestation of this time along with the financial decline we can see happening around the world. We are witnessing something that will be noted in history for many years to come.
We also have Jupiter (expansion) and Pluto (destroys & transforms) conjunct or ‘up close & personal.’ Also they are still in the sign of Capricorn – of which Saturn rules. So can you see this incredible tapestry of energy playing out here? Aquarius (ruled by Uranus & traditionally Saturn) and Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn…so the whole story is unfolding in such a way that we are grinding to a halt to recalibrate and emerge new, raw and hopefully for the better! This is a little simplified as this planet has many nations all at odds with one another, and with the shadow side of Pluto showing up sometimes as deception and corruption and the abuse of power, so we really have to be on our toes and work on ourselves to raise our consciousness and remember that there is power inherent inside all of us which is really so important for us to acknowledge right now. We may have a way to go, but if we can all realise what goodness can come out of this time and to go within and make our own personal changes for our highest good, all will not be lost. On July 2nd Pluto goes retrograde and this transit is a regular cycle lasting five months every year. As with all outer planets, it causes less concern than the rarer inner planet retrogrades. … Saturn and Pluto will be in conjunction on January 12th, 2020. When combined with Pluto, Saturn energies become super-dense.
I really don’t want this post to be all doom and gloom! We do need to have hope and vision as well. On a global level we may feel like we’re in two worlds but we can soften this feeling by taking charge of how we want this future of ours to pan out. We are all responsible for contributing to how we want this amazing world of ours to be. The familiarity of the past is our guide, so let’s invest in some better ways of inhabiting and contributing to this beautiful planet. This really is such an important opportunity to upgrade and improve our lives. This New Moon in Taurus represents a time whereby we can plant those all very important seeds of hope. Hold on to your vision and work tirelessly towards creating the future you want for you and your loved ones.
Take care and stay well!

Welcome back to my blog, and apologies for going AWOL for a while. Like many people, I found myself bunkering down in amongst what seems to be very uncertain and somewhat scary times. However, the need to connect and reach out to each other has never felt more important. Let’s see how we can try to make sense of what is going on here………

I’ve chosen to use the shift of Saturn into Aquarius as the main theme here, however it really hard to pin down any one transit at the best of times, especially at this incredible time. The grand master of structure, authority, business, financial institutions, rules and regulations has finally moved into the innovative, free thinking, ‘mad scientist’ sign of Aquarius. The sign that rules technology and collective action. The last time he visited this realm was nearly three decades ago, from 1991 to 1994. Aquarius rules the future and sensible Saturn is the planner and headmaster of the zodiac. So what may come from this configuration? Some pretty innovative and renovated ideas on a massive scale. Something this planet Earth has been long overdue for perhaps? We can already see the potential collapse of the financial markets if not already. The added stress of the spread COVID-19 throughout the world has borders closing, travel halting, businesses closing and health systems being stretched to their limits trying to cope with the climbing numbers of people falling ill and sadly dying from this pandemic. Not since the early part of this century have we experienced this kind of shift amongst humanity.
So Saturn moved out of Capricorn (his ruling sign & traditionally co ruler of Aquarius) a few days ago on March 23rd (in Australia) and it’s as if overnight we all felt this incredible change of energy. Needless to say, heightened by the fact we’ve had all the big players ie, Saturn, Jupiter & Pluto & the Sth Node also all in Capricorn (Mars is there now) so having the master conductor of Capricorn transiting into his other more free thinking ‘hippie’ relative sign – Aquarius, really has unlocked the potential solutions for this quandary we find ourselves in. Having relied on the systems we use, thinking it would forever hold us up and continue to deliver, we now are faced with having to really think outside the square and to re-invent ourselves as we loosen the grip on life as we knew it only a month ago. This has been building for some time, but the momentum has really kicked in. This represents a huge shift in the collective psyche. We’ve been thrown literally overnight in to a very different kind of reality!
People are connecting via the internet more than ever, and due to the fact we are being instructed to ‘self isolate’ and ‘socially distance’ ourselves, technology has bridged that gap so beautifully. In astrology we love looking at that bridge between Saturn and Uranus and this is also where Chiron, the wounded healer is working his magic. We need to now step out of where we’ve been, turn around and look back with a whole new perspective and discover new ways of doing things, not just for fun but for our own survival and inner healing. This is a true wake up call to dig deep and tap that inner genius and switch lanes but keep going. The fear and uncertainty will test us all. No doubt this will pose challenges and people will obviously experience losses that they may not recover, but let’s really work together in helping each other find new ways of living on this most beautiful planet that we are all custodians of. Saturn has rings around it representing the boundaries and restriction of his nature, however now in Aquarius, the message is to break free, move beyond those boundaries and be brave, inventive and humanitarian in these efforts. This will redefine our relationships completely.
We also have Jupiter in Capricorn bumping into (conjunct) Pluto in Capricorn, having had Mars just pass over Pluto and is now about to conjunct Saturn! So this is a very historic time and we’ve been watching & anticipating these placements for years. Looking back to Saturn’s last transit in Aquarius nearly 30 years ago, one example of the type of activity that took place globally was that NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement ) was signed by Canada, the US & Mexico just weeks before Saturn left Aquarius in Jan 1994. Earlier on in 1991 there was an attempt to negotiate the Israeli – Palestinian Peace Treaty. That gives me hope that there may be some kind of relief from the closure of borders and trade war issues we have going on currently.
Saturn will be going retrograde (appears to travel backwards) on May 12th this year, so will revisit Capricorn again for a spell on July 3rd. He stations direct on September 30th and finally moves back into Aquarius on December 18th 2020. This will also herald the long awaited Jupiter – Saturn conjunction we’ve also had on the astrological radar. Jupiter expands what he touches. So let’s hope that after all these lessons and shifts in the world around us and within us, that this expansion really has some forward thinking genius in it, so we can move into this cycle of change without losing our way. Let’s embrace the technology that will help us navigate the path ahead for out highest good. Many people are falling ill to the ‘doomsday’ thinking. Don’t go down that slippery slope of negativity! Saturn in Aquarius can rewrite the rules and Saturn wants us always to hustle and bring our skills up to scratch otherwise be left behind. Feel the fear and do it anyway. ( A great book I read many moons ago )
When Jupiter meets Saturn on 21st December this year, ask yourselves, what should we hang onto and where can we let go, in order to catapult ourselves into a new league? Philosophical & expansive Jupiter (the great benefic) opens our minds and Saturn creates a structure for our thoughts to become tangible actions. All this with the infusion of Saturn in Aquarius, the spirit of revolution will be in the air! It might just be worth all of this chaos. Don’t lose your way, go within, find some peace daily, think of ways to reinvent yourselves and know that life as we know it will never be the same again, and hopefully for the better.
Take care and stay positive!

Full Moon in Leo – 20 degrees
Sydney – 9/2 – 6.33pm
London – 9/2 – 7.33am
New York – 9/2 – 2.33am

We have a very exciting Full Moon in fiery Leo today. The questions to ask yourself is ‘what am I creating and how is it a part of my future as it unfolds?’ What is your creative expression? What is diminishing your ability to shine? Is there simple joy in your creativity and can you create without judgement? This is a pure part of all of us as humans. Letting go or being aware of our insecurities is so very important. As the saying goes ‘comparison is the thief of joy!’ So embrace your individual skills and abilities. There is a multitude of ways to express yourselves and it’s just as important to let go of the fear. The innocence of the inner child can help to remind us. How much easier was it when we were children, generally with very few inhibitions? Children love to play and express themselves and very rarely with any worries about what others think. Keep it simple but practice that same joyful expression without self-criticism.
One of the aspects at this time is Venus (planet of love & relationships) is conjunct (close to) Chiron – the asteroid of the wounded healer. Venus is in fiery Aries after her passage in her exalted placement of Pisces. In Aries she goes after her desires and seizes opportunities and can express herself with more confidence. However alongside Chiron it brings attention to some wounds in our ego and may reveal some lack of faith that needs healing. Venus is love and compassion and Chiron represents the wounded parts of ourselves, so we should try to shine love into these areas. So Venus here will display more confidence especially over the next four weeks. Leo is the archetype of the King or Queen so ruling from a balanced place is the key or you may risk being torn from your throne so to speak. We can see this playing out in world politics at the moment.
Mercury is now in dreamy Pisces now too so it’s not the best position for the planet of communication as Pisces can bring a fog over our thinking processes. He is also in shadow period (slowing down) in preparation for the Retrograde period from 18/2 – 11/3, and then at least a week beyond then as it gains momentum for direct motion again. So it’s a double whammy with it’s already dreamy and imaginative placement in Pisces and then retrograde as well. Double check all details and arrangements, but also reflect on where you are right now and use it as a time to clear the decks and perhaps tune into the more soulful side of your nature when you aren’t having to be highly productive. Great for people who write, paint and make music etc… so there is always and upside to things.
This Full Moon in Leo shines a light on all things relating to joy, fun and generosity. Be prepared to let your light shine and accept some accolades if they are given to you. This Full Moon is forming a trine (harmonious) to Mars – mover and shaker, and a quincunx (challenging) to Pluto – power and transformer. So it makes for a very intense and at times, uncompromising Full Moon. You will want to follow your hearts desire but be mindful of only wanting to get your own way. Keep your ego in check. With Pluto aspecting here, we really feel that urge to survive all of this forceful energy, particularly around the need for change. Pluto wants more than just what us as the individual wants in making important changes, so it will be for the good of all concerned. He will work hard with you but particularly if your interests are for the highest good. Pluto is the ego of the Universe. So with our personal wills being triggered, we will be motivated to do what we feel is our best interest, like it or not. Just think about the other issues at stake that might stem from the more challenging aspect between Pluto in Capricorn to Moon in Leo. It is a highly creative aspect however so it can give you the drive and determination to overcome what seems hugely uncomfortable or insurmountable at times, to reach that higher ground and break free from what is holding you back from evolving. Just be mindful not to get caught out in petty wars of the ego. Reflect carefully on what it is you are wanting to achieve. Keep searching and digging deep and you will find the solutions.
With this magnificent Full Moon in Leo find new ways of self expression that go beyond the ego. Bring your personal needs into alignment with the universal needs for some balance and healthy inner growth.
Enjoy!

The big difference here is that there are so many planets in Capricorn and one of the recent big players is Jupiter, who has been in its ruling position of Sagittarius for a year (this is the cycle for Jupiter) and now it the sign of its fall – Capricorn. However, I don’t feel it’s right to look at it in such a black and white manner. Jupiter still likes to deliver some goodness.
Also we have just had the Solstice on December 21, so for the northern hemisphere its the Winter solstice and the shortest day of the year and for the Southern Hemisphere is was the longest day. This Solar and New Moon Eclipse will happen at 4 degrees & 7 minutes of Capricorn on December 26th. It will be an annular eclipse so not a full eclipse and will be most visible in some parts of Eastern Europe and in particular southern India and Sri Lanka. The moon will be passing between the earth and the sun and it won’t cover the earth entirely as in a total eclipse. However we are all still subject to the energies of this celestial event. It really impacts our emotional bodies and how it will translate into our external lives. Eclipses are external events but we really do feel them in our hearts in particular.
What is special in this case is the fact that Jupiter has now entered the earth sign of Capricorn and joins the Sun, Mercury, Saturn & Pluto, not to mention the South Node which plays a big part in an eclipse always with the moon having to be within 18 degrees of one of the moon’s nodes. It’s said that at the time of an eclipse there is an energy like a portal opening up or like the veils between worlds are lifting. We have an opportunity to choose what or where it is we want to be. Ask yourself how the last twelve months have played out for you. What is it that you’ve had to let go of in order to grow and move forward in into your full potential somehow. Jupiter will also be conjunct the sun at this eclipse so it really is a very good opportunity to reap some of his benefits. He is the great benefic, even if he is somewhat compromised in Capricorn.
Capricorn is very much about the physical embodiment of life and therefore manifesting fully in our physical experience. A focus on the material is inevitable at this time as well. Where is structure needed to consolidate and create the environment for us to build upon a new foundation that has been cleared over the last few months for this to occur? We also have Pluto and Saturn conjunct for the first time since 1982, so try to reflect back on what was playing out for you back then. It really will have some correlation to now. It usually happens around 33-38 years and lasts slightly over two years. Back then both planets were in the other cardinal sign of Libra.
On Jan 10th we will have the next eclipse – a Lunar eclipse (Full Moon) in Cancer so this will be a very different energy completely and Jupiter will have widened his orb and the sun moved along into the mid degrees of Capricorn. This is the beginning of the eclipse season and we have a few to come in 2020.
January 10th, June 5th, June 21st, July 5th, November 30th & December 14th. So this Solar Eclipse is a beautiful way to wind up for 2019. It’s still a strong intention setting time, even though there is an opposing energy of letting go as it’s on the South Node. So let us all get serious (Capricorn loves to be serious) about where it is you want to be moving into the new year of 2020. Stay grounded in this Capricorn energy and know that the opportunity for growth and grasping your true potential is truly on offer. It is a benefic and hopeful moon. It is also just after the Solstice which also flavours this time and is a prompt for moving forward. Try to be a little more frugal as Saturn and Capricorn really encourage this and not to be wasteful or extravagant.
So over the next two weeks before the next lunar phase of the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse, work on some really nourishing thoughts and affirmations. It really is a potent time for manifesting what you need and desire. Journal your appreciation for all that is going well for you right now. Sowing the seed is really what we need to be doing now as always with the New Moon, but this time it will take a little more contemplation and tuning in as we experience the complex energies of an eclipse and intense aspects going on in the heavens above.
I wish you all a very happy and healthy holiday season, in whatever way you celebrate. May 2020 be a grand year and one of growth and goodness.

Full Moon in Taurus
SYD – 13/11 – 12.34AM
NY – 12/11 8.34AM
LOND – 12/11 – 1.34 PM
Welcome to the Full Moon in Taurus. An earthy, sensual and divine position for this Venus ruled moon. Compared to the previous new moon in Scorpio and this one is far less aspected so it will feel a lot less challenging. Taurus is an earth sign, ruled by Venus and it is said to be exalted in this sign. It speaks of fertility, nourishment and all to do with that grounded type of Venusian energy, so take the opportunity to rest, slow down and indulge gently in the senses somehow.

We do however, have in Mercury Retrograde motion and also just about to conjoin the Sun which is know as a Cazimi. The blending of the Sun and Mercury’s energies so we have a very good opportunity to really let the sun infuse its power toward our projects or whatever we may be working on. Any planet whose centre is within 17 minutes of the arc of the centre of the Sun is referred to as Cazimi. It’s one of the highest forms of good luck. Retrograde motion still reminds us to double check all the details and be patient with sudden changes of plans etc, but I would really prefer to focus on the positive of the current energies surrounding this full moon. A Cazimi is an elevated or improved state. It could indicate a a slow but clarifying situation, after a time of uncertainty. This is at 18 degrees of Scorpio. You should start to see solutions to previously tricky situations. Be flexible and it’s always important to follow your intuition of course.
Mercury is also now closer to the earth so certain situations are brought to our attention. We can start to get back on track now after the early part of Mercury Retrograde and the usual setbacks. This full moon is sill a very grounded energy being in the earth sign of Taurus. Take time to chill out, catch up on some of your favourite TV or Netflix show or movies. Bask in that delicious feeling Taurus delivers to us.
Mars is also in a nice sextile aspect to Sagittarius, giving us the courage to move forward with stuff we’ve been perhaps putting off and needing to complete. Don’t let doubts creep in as Mars will give us the impetus to get things done. It’s not a time for hesitation. You may notice an inner change of heart about some things and feel a sense of confidence, and a burst of energy to help you scoop up the prize! This is a really healthy and helpful aspect between Mars and Jupiter. Also this full moon ruler is Venus (rules Libra and Taurus) and she is now in the sign of Sagittarius which points to adventure, travel or at least some element of daring fun so go for it. Venus does however have a square (challenging) aspect to watery Neptune. This may mean you can feel like there is a bit of fog descending over you as well. It is only temporary but something to be aware of. It can also be used constructively particularly around creativity. Your sensitivity will be heightened. Give yourselves room to dream and down tools when you can over these few days. Nourish your body and soul.
The Full Moon in Taurus is at its most sensual so really embrace this energy – light some aromatic candles or incense, cook a delicious meal, play your favourite music, book yourself a relaxing massage. Slow down, rest, get plenty of sleep. It’s really important to be ‘in your body’ so when you feel a little anxious or restless, in your head too much, adopt some strategies to feel more grounded. Walk near nature, take time out to just ‘breathe!’
Enjoy and try to soak up the blessings from this most sensual and beautiful of Full Moon’s.

Welcome to this fiery Full Moon in Aries at 20 degrees 14 minutes. Accompanying this big energy is a tense square to Pluto the power broker and also to Saturn the karmic headmaster! A helper here is Jupiter in Sagittarius making a harmonious trine to the full moon. This may be the balm among these heavy energies that we have swirling around at this time.

We also have Mercury in shadow preparing to go Retrograde on November 1st. Mars is in Libra (it is Libra season) so here we have Mars – the ruler of this Moon in diplomatic and peacemaking Libra. So we may have to dig deep to find where it is we have been perhaps giving our power away and let Mars ignite some inner awareness about where it is we may need to grow up. What is it within us that we are needing to have some clarity and understanding about? Mercury will direct us to go back over where it is we may need to clear up what we have left undone or not done so well. Pluto will not let us move past go until this is done. Holding territory with Master Saturn will only serve to consolidate this as well.
This Aries – Libra axis is all about the dialogue around our relationships. Libran energy is all about the ‘other.’ Aries is all about the ‘self.’ This T-Square with Pluto will mean we will be dealing with those unavoidable pressures around this arena. It can be destructive, transformative and when they are squaring off, we cannot avoid dealing with our shadow sides. Both sides of the same coin here. What we don’t recognise or own, no matter how ugly it is, will really reveal itself during this phase. It is challenging, but if we can show up and work with and realise these polarities within us, we then have the opportunity to move forward and be better integrated.
It’s not all bad and dark, as we also have jolly Jupiter in Sagittarius which makes a trine at 20 degrees in this fellow fire sign, however, remember that he does expand everything he touches. Let him shine light and be playful with it, however, be mindful he is not working on his own. It may be a bit like looking in the weird mirrors at a fun park! Ask yourself what is it that you need to heal or bring forward to heal, as it may have been carried along for a long time but has been more of a deeply buried burden than you had avoided until the illumination under this Full Moon. Maybe you finally are ready now to speak up about your needs and desires ignored.
There is a real risk that we may be on the receiving end or even the one dishing out some projection. The pointing the finger at others about issues which may be something we aren’t taking responsibility for in our own lives. Don’t fall prey to the victim mentality either. This may be a real see-saw of emotions over the next two weeks in particular. Remember that we all have choices to make in this precious life. Be alert to any of these self sabotaging tendencies. Don’t fear feeling too vulnerable. Sometimes we stand in our own way. Don’t feel pressured to try and sort all and everything out especially under this full moon, but take time to just to sit with yourself here and there, make some promises quietly within, write it down perhaps, and allow it to unfold after you’ve make some energetic shifts first. These changes take time.
The key to this full moon and intense planetary aspects is to face up to our shadow side and acknowledge, integrate them so as to free yourselves from the more unhealthy qualities of the egoic self and strive to reconcile these opposing energies.
Take care and blessings to you on this Full Moon in Aries!
