»The exhibition intends to offer a broad overview on the current development and distribution of artists‘ books and to show the diversity of this genre. The exhibition takes place between the June 2nd and August 6th, 2017 in the Center for Artists‘ Publications at the Weserburg – Museum of Modern Art in Bremen.
In the wake of this the Call for Artists‘ Books was launched, to collect contemporary positions in this genre and to enable artists to participate in the exhibition.«

»The Millionaires Club« is Leipzig’s annual Comics & Graphics Festival. As part of the festival there are two exhibitions, one by Yan Cong, Gina Wynbrandt and Patrick Kyle at Hopfe (Kolonnadenstr. 17) and another by Breakdownpress (Joe Kessler and Richard Short) at Mzin. Beyond that there are several readings and workshops. You’ll find the whole program here.
The seventh issue of the »it’s a book« fair brings together 60+ independent publishers. In occasion of this event a symposium happens including talks by Maike Aden, Delphine Bedel, Hanne Lippard and Axel Wieder.

From March 10th to 12th, 2016 the Paris Ass Book Fair happens at the Arts Factory in Paris…
Organized by Arthur Dumpling (Cock au soleil) and Vincent Simon (Septembre éditions), the Paris Ass Book Fair brings together more than 20 artists and publishers from all over the world. They will present their zines, artists‘ books, comics, and literature focusing on sex and gender, including their troubles and their representations, as playful, poetic, political subjects.
In occasion the Paris Ass Book Fair two exhibition will be on view: »QUEER ZINES« a show curated by AA Bronson and Phil Aarons (for the first time in France) and an exhibition on the graphic works by Tom de Pekin and TwoTom.

»Free and open to the public, Printed Matter’s LA Art Book Fair is a unique event for artists’ books, art catalogs, monographs, periodicals, and zines presented by over 300 international presses, booksellers, antiquarians, artists, and independent publishers. Printed Matter’s LA Art Book Fair 2016 saw over 35,000 visitors over the course of three and a half days.
Printed Matter’s LA Art Book Fair is the companion fair to Printed Matter’s NY Art Book Fair, held every fall in New York. In September 2016, over 39,000 artists, book buyers, collectors, dealers, curators, independent publishers, and enthusiasts attended Printed Matter’s NY Art Book Fair.
The fifth annual LA Contemporary Artists’ Books Conference will feature a keynote address by AA Bronson, titled ›My Live In Books.‹«
