2) The disheveled look only lasts for a short while. In the next year or two, she will be able to bath herself, and a short while after that she will be able to wash her own hair. Eventually she will want to make her own breakfast, will take pride in a clean room, and will help you around the house, though you’ll have to bribe her in the form of allowance paychecks.
And BTW, you’re adorable, and one day you’ll wake up and feel refreshed, have time to take care of yourself more, and will probably look better (and wiser) than you did before child. Truth. I’ve been through this. Too, I’m seriously considering a 4th baby. Considering that, I’m certain that children come with those same Disney patented magnetic forcefields. Somewhere along the line we forget all that sucked in favor of all that was beautiful, lovely, and special. Kids are pretty magical in that way. 😉
