The sheer incompetence of the SPLC fraudsters is illustrated by an article they published in 2005 that mistook me for another conservative, psychologist Paul Cameron, who also opposes the homosexual agenda. Much has transpired since then, including the SPLC robotically smearing every anti-trans-agenda group working today (from Alliance Defending Freedom to Moms For Liberty to Genspect) as an “anti-LGBTQ hate group.” “Progressives” are nothing without their cunningly deceitful “narratives.” But nobody except the Left and the legacy media (yes, I repeat myself) takes seriously anymore the SPLC’s preposterous claim to be an objective arbiter of “hate.” Still, the fight against this despicable organization must go on, even though its power to malign has been crippled. That’s because the SPLC, with its unparalleled fundraising machine, remains one of the most potent forces on the dark side pushing sex-and-gender perversions on impressionable kids in K-12 schools. How the SPLC Wizards Twist Truth and Corrupt Children

Yes, the Southern Poverty Law Center is a smear machine. Tragically, their diabolical disinformation and legal activism have produced a generation of youth rebels who hate Christianity, hate American capitalism, hate their own parents and heterosexual marriage, hold law enforcement in contempt, and are comfortable with assassination attempts and violent street action.
SPLC has been at work for two decades spreading vicious rhetoric and the rotten fruits are everywhere. Praise God there is now at least some accountability.
Yet it’s important to document how SPLC has gotten away with this and it’s especially pernicious in the group’s approach to youth. My own experience shows their underhanded tactics.
In fall of 2011, a friend who worked at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH shared with me that the hospital’s “LGBT” employee group had become quite influential and members would be proudly proclaiming their affiliation by wearing rainbow lapel pins in the workplace.
This got me thinking about the influence on children who are hospitalized. In October 2011, I broadcast an Ohio radio commentary that eventually came to the attention of the SPLC. Here’s part of what I broadcast:
“How do you feel about open homosexuals tending to your child in a health care situation? Do you think these folks provide good role modeling at a time when your child is very vulnerable?
“I was thinking about this recently, when I learned that Children’s Hospital in Columbus has a homosexual employees’ group which participated in the June ‘gay’ pride parade and are planning to be identified with rainbow lapel pins.
“So let’s say your 11-year-old has broken her leg rather badly and needs to be in the hospital for a few days. Which would you prefer—a nurse who’s proud of her lesbianism, who has rainbow identifiers on her work clothing, or a nurse who does not?
“I would like to suggest that parents think long and hard about this. If you want your children to admire people who proclaim a homosexual lifestyle, their involvement with your child during a hospital stay is sure to be an influence.
“And let me be clear that folks involved in these behaviors can certainly be competent workers, but they are tacking on to their workplace role, another identity that is highly offensive to many people, and can be erroneously influential to children, who won’t or shouldn’t see the whole picture of how this behavior really manifests itself.
“Here’s what parents can do: you may want to consider writing a letter that you file with your pediatrician, that should your child ever be hospitalized, you do not want your child to be treated or cared for by one of these members of the Children’s Hospital ‘gay’ employees’ group, except in an emergency situation. But for routine in-hospital care, where contact with your child would be required, your values should be respected.
“And you have the right to do this, based on Children’s Hospital’s own Patient Rights and Responsibilities Form. It reads, ‘As a patient, parent or guardian at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, you can expect to…..Receive care from hospital staff who respect your personal values, beliefs and customs, regardless of your race, ethnicity, gender, religion…’
“Whether for your ‘personal values’ or religion, or both, you can state in this letter that you don’t want such care. There are probably pediatricians who will be shocked and give you a bit of a hard time, but so what? It’s your child’s values and the integrity of their faith that is at stake.”
It wasn’t long after this broadcast that the radio station began receiving outraged phone calls from the usual rainbow mob. My own calls included one from a physician who insisted I was terribly bigoted because he knew he was “born that way.” I disagreed with him.
He like others refused to process this fairly and logically. Does Children’s Hospital’s non-discrimination policy mean anything, or not? If not, they need to inform families that their children will encounter open homosexuality (and now, “trans” identities) among staff whether the family likes it or not. And those staff will have private time to convince children to accept these behaviors and identities.
Somewhere along the line, SPLC learned about my broadcast and by early 2012, Mission America was placed on their anti-“LGBT” list.
The “hate” label from SPLC has cost our ministry speaking and funding opportunities, among other injustices. Here’s what I wrote in 2017:
“The SPLC criteria lacks validity. Here’s how SPLC claims to assess a group: ‘All hate groups have beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people, typically for their immutable characteristics.’”
“But homosexuality and gender confusion are not immutable. These are immoral, changeable behaviors long opposed for factual, historical, health-based reasons by virtually all major religions.”
Yet like most of the far left, SPLC refuses to consider the ample evidence that no one is “born that way.” They were hypocrites and liars then, and are hypocrites and liars now.
Children have suffered greatly from SPLC interference at school, where districts over the years have felt the sting of SPLC’s unjustified wrath and punitive actions. SPLC led a 2011 federal lawsuit (propped up by the Obama administration) against Minneapolis’ Anoka-Hennepin schools, where several students received a settlement for experiencing “LGBT” bullying and harassment. The school was also required to drop a policy that required discussions of sexual orientation and gender identity to be handled with neutrality. The suit alleged that uncontrolled bullying had occurred because of this “gag” policy.
So there was no way to intervene in bullying unless teachers/staff could affirm homosexuality or cross-dressing? Who besides me is not buying this?
The school also agreed to conduct re-training sessions for staff and the SPLC was to oversee this requirement! Progressive fascism at work, courtesy of offenses under the Democrat-reconstituted Title IX law, a legal sleight of hand thankfully ended under Trump. That law is restored to its original meaning when passed in 1972, where “sex” means biological male and female.
Following up on this settlement, SPLC sent a letter threatening legal action to the East Aurora, IL schools in 2012 if they failed to keep in place an open bathrooms/open sports policy designed around the wishes of transgender activists. The “support” cited was the same nonsense, that “discrimination based on gender nonconformity is a form of prohibited sex discrimination under Title IX.” The East Aurora policy was thankfully rescinded due to community outcry.
Learning for Justice is the re-brand of SPLC’s older education site, Teaching Tolerance, since the group was hardly practicing “tolerance.” Their guidance about supporting “LGBTQ” behavior among students is published in Best Practices for Serving LGBTQ Students: A Learning for Justice Guide.
The ideal SPLC school would allow the following discriminatory, corrupting actions:
· Transgender student dress of all types, short of profane T-shirts
· Silencing of religious objections if “LGBTQ” students feel offended
· Full expression of “pride” by these students
· Pro-“LGBTQ” sex education including how-to explanations of “safer sex”
· Boys must be allowed on female athletic teams and vice versa
· Proms, field trips, dances with any gender expression, sexual orientation on display
· GSA’s or homosexual clubs, presumably for grade schools as well
· Use of any bathroom or locker room students wish, with uncomfortable students required to use other facilities
· Ability to claim harassment or bullying for both physical and verbal offenses, and call this a violation of Title IX
· School-supported secrecy from parents about gender confusion or homosexual identity expressed at school. “Never ‘out’ a student to their families (or others) without their consent.”( page 32)
· Teachers, school staff and students must adhere to what “LGBTQ” students believe is respect and will be held accountable even for social media posts
· Ability to voice objections to “homophobia” or “transphobia” while conservative students will be prevented from voicing their objections
· Expect to be called by students and teachers by the desired pronouns, no matter how nonsensical or untruthful
This guide goes on to reaffirm the “born gay” myth, and to smear talk therapy about the possibility of change (erroneously labeled “conversion” therapy). The guide also states that being “transgender” is not a mental illness and any mental health issues experienced by a gender confused student are caused by societal stigma.
All “LGBTQ” student expression is valid and must be allowed, according to SPLC. How many young people have been tragically misled because of this hate-filled organization?
So Mission America’s erroneous slot on the “anti-LGBTQ hate” list since 2012 still exists because, like the Hotel California, you can try to check out of SPLC’s unwanted attention but you can actually never leave.
Unless ….. SPLC itself disintegrates along with its smear campaigns and reckless interaction with children and schools. That needs to happen immediately.
And many of the SPLC staff should go to jail for a very long time.

The following is a sample of articles by cultural warrior Laurie Higgins, one of my favorite conservative writers, who has done yeoman’s work over many years exposing the LGBTQ+ agenda. Higgins always deserved a greater national following than she got as a writer for Illinois Family Institute (where I was once employed). This makes it all the more astonishing that Higgins was effectively pushed out in 2023 as IFI’s main writer and researcher by executive director Dave Smith, for reasons that had nothing to do with the exemplary quality of her work. Smith’s rageful mistreatment of Higgins makes for an infuriating story [see her Facebook page for more details]. He will have to answer to God for his abuse of power and cruelty toward Laurie, even as he knew she was a soon-to-be widow with her husband of nearly 50 years dying of cancer. Dear Fellow Christian Warriors:
My name is Jennifer Coutlee, and I have been thrust into a battle that I never thought I would ever have to fight, and I am praying that you will join in this fight with me. Here is my story.
It began in the winter of 2008, when I found my husband, Wyatt, in an online affair, posing as a bisexual man. After confronting him with this, he denounced bisexuality and said he was committed to our marriage. We solidified our commitment, and our daughter, Nora, was born in June of 2009. For the next number of years, I believed things were going well between us. However, I was dreadfully wrong. On November 16, 2014, my husband of almost 17 years woke me up early in the morning to tell me some devastating news. For the past number of months he had been having adulterous affairs with numerous men. Some just one night affairs with men he met on Craigslist, and one ongoing affair with a young man he met while at work. The reason for this news now: His “boyfriend” was already in a relationship. His boyfriend had followed Wyatt the night before to a “hook-up” where he confronted Wyatt, letting him know if Wyatt didn’t tell me what was going on, he most certainly would. This, of course, forced Wyatt to tell me. But he didn’t just tell me, he then told our then 15-year-old daughter without me present.

As devastating as this news was, it didn’t stop there. While I was hurt, I still wanted to fight for my marriage and had begun putting the pieces in place to begin counseling. Unfortunately, on November 20, 2014, things came crashing down again. Early in the morning, I began getting myself and the kids ready for the day. I woke Wyatt up so he could help me finish getting our youngest ready, but after hearing him with our daughter, I became very emotional, and I decided I could not go into work. Wyatt took the kids to school. I locked the front door behind them, because it was windy that day and our door blew open when not dead-bolted. I returned to my bedroom where I began reading the Bible and the book, Power of the Praying Wife. Around 10am, I laid down for a nap, feeling calm and hopeful after spending time with the Lord. Unfortunately, the next thing I knew, it was sometime after 10pm! I was in the hospital, and I had no memory of what went on after my nap. Wyatt was nowhere to be found. My friend Diana was by my bedside, and the doctors were telling me that I attempted suicide by ingesting a month worth of Zoloft and various narcotic pain killers. After the doctors interviewed Wyatt and me (since he would not leave work to be with me in the hospital, his interview was by phone), they transferred me to a psychiatric hospital and kept me on a 72 hour hold. While I was in the hospital, Wyatt was very hostile and cold and uncaring toward me. He told the nurses that I needed to be held until I took responsibility for my actions, and I believe he only visited me because I asked him to visit. He did not call my closest friends to let them know I was in the hospital, even though he knew I had been in close contact with them prior to this event.
Though I knew I did not try to commit suicide, after I was released from the hospital there was much tension in our home. At the time I still wanted to try to make our marriage work, so we tried counseling. It was clear that Wyatt was not only set on ending our marriage, but also on living his new homosexual lifestyle. On December 17, 2014, I asked Wyatt to leave our house, which he did, but unfortunately, he moved in with his current boyfriend, Austin. Before this, due to Wyatt’s behavior, I had hired a private investigator to look into Wyatt’s “boyfriends” and behaviors. After he moved in with Austin, he began offering reasons as to why he couldn’t see the children, making excuses that he was grocery shopping, doing his laundry, running errands, etc. He was invited every Sunday night for dinner, but always had other plans. In January 2015 Wyatt introduced the children to his boyfriend, Austin, against my wishes. He left our oldest daughter in the salon alone with his boyfriend for over 45 minutes. This is a salon where you just rent a booth and not a large salon where there are many people in and out. Since there was no court order, I decided to restrict his visits with the children to my house only. At this time we began recording his visits with the children, and what we found was disturbing. With Analyse, our now 16-year-old daughter, he would use techniques of coercion to get her to spy on me, as if it was her idea, to try to prove that I am an unfit mother. With Donovan, our 12 year old Autistic son, he was very verbally abusive, name-calling, using intimidation tactics. Physical abuse is unclear on the audio but he has beaten Donovan before this time. With Nora, our 6 year old (also possibly Autistic) daughter, he tends to just ignore her.
While there is so much more, I have tried to lay out the basics. I am asking for your help through prayer support, financial support, and legal support, as I am just a working mother of three. I am trying to get by on less than a third of the income we had as a whole family. Any financial support would be used to pay for the things that child support, my salary and cashing out my IRAs do not pay for, such as legal fees, housing costs, and any unseen urgent expenses that we may be faced with. God provides the necessities, but we do need help with these other things. Although I know God is calling me to stand firm in His Word and in my faith, I don’t know that I can do this alone.
Please help me fight the homosexual agenda. Ultimately, I know how this story ends. GOD WINS! Having my Christian brothers and sisters coming around the children and me will certainly help us as we navigate through this storm.

Many conservatives and MAGA advocates have a ‘PHAT’ problem (Pro-Homosexuality/Anti-Trans). Stop promoting one form of sexual deviance (sin) while fighting another. You cannot serve Truth while promoting a Lie, nor serve God while defying His perfect moral Law. You cannot erase this:
The modern Gay Revolution:
- redefined Normal;
- defied Nature to countenance its high-risk sodomies (receptive anal s-x and gay male promiscuity fueled the deadly AIDS pandemic);
- violated children’s innocence either through direct predation or by injecting its perverse ideology into K-12 schools–thus imprinting sexual aberrance on very young, impressionable minds; see 1990 picture book “Daddy’s Roommate” below);
- promoted cross-dressing, “gender” propaganda aimed at youth, and other forms of trans activism;
- “queered” the sacred institution of marriage through relentless activism;
- led to vicious and even violent attacks on Christians who defended historic biblical truth on homosexuality (e.g., San Francisco Presbyterian pastor Chuck McIlhenny’s church and home were firebombed in 1983). Meanwhile, Christians and religious traditionalists were regularly smeared as “haters,” bigots and “phobes”; and
- reimagined the natural “family” to celebrate homosexual (gay and lesbian) households that intentionally deny children a mom or a dad.
Along the way, self-absorbed “gay” ideologues grotesquely smeared our biblical and national heroes, claiming, for example, that David and Jonathan in the Old Testament were “gay lovers,” and that Abraham Lincoln was likely “bisexual” and a “Lover of Men” (see twisted graphic below).
Most ominously, from the beginning, “gay”/”queer” militants have for DECADES worked to reinterpret the Bible’s crystal clear teaching against homosexual acts as sinful (Romans 1:26-7, Leviticus 18:22, Jude 7, 1 Corinthians 6:9, etc.) “Queer theology” revisionists are literally re-writing the history of Christianity to promote sodomitic unions as somehow pleasing to God. Yes, the same holy God who unequivocally condemns homosexual acts (see the works of late Yale gay-activist scholar John Boswell).
This is a time for Truth and moral clarity: Do not help mainstream what God calls an “abomination” (detestable behavior; Lev. 18:22), even if it makes you feel better about opposing trans lunacy.
P.S. The great news is that many men and women have “come out” of homosexuality (and “trans” delusions), most through Jesus Christ. (Columbus, OH, September 10, 2025) Today, a nationwide call went out for prayer and action during the month of October, as many American public schools observe “LGBTQ History Month.”
Mission America, an Ohio-based Christian organization, is leading a coalition asking parents, students and teachers as well as churches to commit to a month of prayer during October as reckless, deceptive events roll out in many schools featuring rainbow radicalism, obscene library selections, “drag” queens as special speakers/assemblies, in-class lessons, and more.
The American Family Association and many other groups have joined this effort. A statement from AFA said the following: “American Family Association supports Mission America’s call to prayer for students in October. We urge believers to ask God to shield children from deceptive LGBTQ+ messages in schools and turn hearts toward His truth about sexuality, marriage, and identity.”
“We implore Almighty God to intervene and protect children at school from systematic sexual corruption they’re often forced to endure during October,” said Linda Harvey, president of Mission America. “Students may be taught that ‘queer’ behaviors and identities have been an admirable part of human history; that they are inborn and unchangeable; and that all objections are hateful bigotry akin to racism. These are reckless and harmful lies that encourage children to embrace gravely sinful conduct.”
Each fall, Mission America publishes the widely-consulted “School Corruption and Propaganda Calendar” to alert parents about the dates when they can expect organized, well-publicized grooming events at some schools and how to prepare their children accordingly.
From lessons training students to become “LGBTQ” activists, to “Coming Out Day” and “International Pronouns Day,” the entire month of October is often devoted to the worst immoral elements of ‘woke’ indoctrination. And with the move this year of the American Library Association’s “Banned Books Week” from September to October (coordinating with these other events), students are likely to be assaulted with non-stop pro-homosexual, pro-transgender indoctrination.
Parents are encouraged to combine prayer with action in their own communities, requesting school boards to drop these high-risk messages, urging state lawmakers to prohibit reckless school lessons and events, and even participating in peaceful demonstrations.
“We must be on our knees and appeal to the Lord, in the name of Jesus, to change the minds of school boards, administrators, and teachers to end manipulative, often pornographic messages that are poisoning the school climate,” said Harvey. “It’s time to embrace wholesome, uplifting themes of courage and morality instead, and we know that God is fully able to change even the most hardened hearts.”

]]>By now, most conservatives have heard about Chip and Joanna Gaines’ new streaming series on their Magnolia Network titled Back to the Frontier. It imitates the PBS reality series Frontier House in structure and title, choosing three families to live for a period of time without modern conveniences. While the PBS series had families live as frontierspeople for five months, the Gaines’ carefully selected families will suffer for only eight weeks. The other major difference is the Gaineses decided that one third of the families needed to be headed by homosexuals. In fact, according to the homosexual men chosen, Jason Hanna and Joe Riggs, flyers for series applicants featured homosexuals.
In an interview with Queerty, the website whose motto is “Free of an Agenda (except that gay one),” these homosexual men made clear their motivation for applying to be on the series. Hanna said,
When I first saw the flyer on social media, there was a gay couple on the flyer, and so that initially sparked my interest. … When our boys were born—our twin boys were born via surrogacy in 2014—we faced some legal challenges, and so we’ve always felt it to be important that we try to be an example for same-sex couples. … And so it was this amazing opportunity to [continue to] normalize same-sex couples and same-sex families.
Hanna’s “spouse” Joe Riggs echoed those unhealthy, unholy sentiments: “[O]f course I was on board with the whole concept of continuing to normalize same-sex families.”
The self-identifying Christians Chip and Joanna Gaines, whose net worth is estimated to be $50 million, promoted the pernicious cultural goals of two men who embrace sodomy as identity, used surrogacy to create motherless children (while likely destroying unwanted embryos), and objectified women by purchasing their eggs and renting their wombs. The Gaineses sold their faith for a mess of potage and a pile of filthy lucre.
Billy Graham’s son Franklin posted a tepid criticism of the Gaineses’ “Gay Little House on the Prairie,” but even that was too much for the prickly man-boy Chip.
Grahams posted,
I hope this isn’t true, but I read today that Chip and Joanna Gaines are featuring a gay couple in their new series. If It is true, it is very disappointing. While we are to love people, we should love them enough to tell them the truth of God’s Word. His Word is absolute truth. God loves us, and His design for marriage is between one man and one woman. Promoting something that God defines as sin is in itself sin.
In response, Chip Gaines responded,

It’s a sad sunday when “non believers” have never been confronted with hate or vitriol until they are introduced to a modern American Christian
It’s a sad day when self-identifying Christ-followers castigate their brothers and sisters in Christ for holding fast to truth.
It’s a sad day when self-identifying Christians accuse their fellow Christians of being hateful and vitriolic for condemning actions of celebrities who use their influence to normalize sexual perversion and family structures that God abhors.
It’s a sad day when Christians who could use their celebrity to call their fans to repentance or could at least refuse to participate in any way with egregious sin, instead acquiesce to modern God-hating secular culture.
It was a sad day when Chip Gaines lumped all criticism of his and his wife’s actions together as hateful and vitriolic.
It’s tragic that Chip and Joanna Gaines chose to promote that which Scripture says will cost Hanna and Riggs eternal life:
“Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral … nor men who practice homosexuality … will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6: 9-10).
It’s a sad day when Christians with influential platforms refuse to live in accordance with Scripture that says,
“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them” (Ephesians 5:11).
“It would be better for that person if a millstone would be hung around his neck and he would be thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin” (Luke 17:2).
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:2).
“But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’” (Mark 10:6-8).
“You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination” (Leviticus 18:22).
One would hope all Christians understand that marriage has an ontology—that is, marriage has an immutable, objective nature—that modern American lawmaking cannot change. Central to marriage is sexual complementarity, without which a relationship cannot in reality be a marriage. In other words, marriage is something. The law can no more change an intrinsically non-marital relationship into a marriage than it can change a man into a woman.
Maybe on their next soulless money-making venture, the Gaineses will feature a polycule.

On Fox News Friday, Jonathan Turley called SCOTUS’ decision on Mahmoud v. Taylor–letting parents opt *their own kids* out of public school lessons with propagandistic LGBTQ+ books–“an extraordinary victory for parental rights” [see books below]. The Sexual Left is fanatically pro-homosexuality, and thus at war with Judeo-Christian (biblical) morality (see Romans 1, Jude 7, Leviticus 20:13).
For decades, LGBTQ militants have been in the vanguard of stealing children’s innocence and corrupting their souls by injecting pro-homosexuality and pro-“transgender” ideas into their forming, impressionable minds. It began 35 years ago with a revolutionary so-called “children’s” book, “Daddy’s Roommate,” which indoctrinates innocent toddlers into accepting proud homosexuality as normal and good. Its grossly simplistic and manipulative message–to kiddos who have no idea what sex is, much less sexual deviancy: “Being gay is just one more kind of love.”
As Gay Power grew, so did the push to indoctrinate students into embracing sexual immorality as “who they are” (often using the now-discredited “born that way” myth to “jam” and silence moral critics). After pushing SCOTUS in 2015 to destroy the age-old legal definition of marriage as one-man/one-woman, the LGBTQ+ lobby moved on aggressively to their next Deviant Frontier: imprinting “trans” lunacy on the minds of the very young boys and girls, to the point of insisting that a child’s biological sex is not determinative but is merely their “gender” “assigned at birth.” (This directly conflicts with God’s Word, the Bible: in Mark 10:6, Jesus Christ echoes Genesis 1:27 in declaring: “But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female.”)
In schools, leftist educational “change agents” have long held that captive students–your kids and grandkids –are *their* children to mold and manipulate, effectively making parents the enemy. The same LGBTQ movement that groomed children into embracing “gay” as some kind of inherent (innate) “sexual orientation” now grooms them into embracing “trans,” “non-binary,” “genderqueer,” and other “gender identities” as “who they are.” Deviance begets deviance; the movement that “normalized” homosexual sodomy and idolizes “diversity & inclusion” has zero standing to judge other perversions, recast as oppressed “sexual and gender minorities.”
The pro-LGBTQ “change agents” sell their warped ideology as “science” and *fact* to gullible media and intimidated parents, while brainwashed “experts,” including teachers, school counselors and doctors, push confused kids into medically “blocking” their puberty–and even horrific “gender transition” “surgeries” (read: mutilations). Thankfully, this abuse of minors can now be banned, per SCOTUS in Skrmetti v. U.S. Yet schools across the USA still have official policies helping transgender-identified students hide their “gender transition” from their own parents! Unthinkably nefarious, but true.
The great news is that everyday Americans, led by brave parents, are waking up and fighting back. Fear of Big LGBTQ+ is dissipating, as corporate media credibility plummets. The tide continues to turn against radical “queer” activists and their “woke” allies– who callously sexualize and radicalize children using a host of self-serving euphemisms: “inclusion,” “sexual orientation,” “love is love,” “equality,” be your “authentic self” (read: the opposite sex), calling opponents “haters” & “phobes,” etc. The Democrats and their LGBTQ-activist base overreached, and now they are paying the price. We must continue to ignore the Sexual Left’s lies, hysteria and rank anti-Christian bigotry and roll back the Gay/Trans (aka “Queer”) Revolution–to protect children and secure our God-given liberties.

Nonetheless, the homosexual activist movement continues to make headlines in various ways. For example: A Navy ship named after a gay rights icon is to be renamed. A girls high school softball team wins a championship via the arm of a male born pitcher. The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) doubles down on their pro LGBTQ stance. Despite the policy triumphs showered on America by Donald Trump, there remains a blind spot in his administration. And in the view of many of his supporters, it’s a big one.
I remain a cheerleader of so much of what the Trump people are accomplishing as they try to restore order and sanity to our nation. So it’s agonizing to witness a grotesquely disordered policy gain muscle on his watch.
The GOP under Trump’s influence is embracing open homosexuality and same sex “marriage” and expecting that his base will not notice. Guess what? Plenty of us are noticing, especially when it comes down to this: faithful Christians who support authentic marriage are being fired by open homosexuals appointed by Trump.
Ric Grenell, named by Trump to lead the Kennedy Center, apparently just fired the Center’s vice president Floyd Brown over past comments Brown made supporting traditional marriage. Grenell is openly “gay” with a male “husband.” Brown, who is pro-Trump, refused when asked to recant past comments of support for biblical sexual morality and traditional marriage, revealed in a CNN post. So he was shown the door.
At the very least, where’s the religious liberty Trump promises? And would it be too much trouble for Republicans to ditch the love fest with allegedly “conservative gays”? It was not hard to predict that eventually there would be a showdown of values.
And here it is. The Ric Grenells, Scott Bessents, Tammy Bruces are ultimately going to choose their aberrant desires over religious liberty for traditional Christians. Homosexuals are too committed to the road they have chosen, which is living a life that gives a big middle finger to God’s design for healthy sexual function and marriage.
But until they are overcomers, these are public figures who can mislead a lot of people as they stab faithful Christians in the back.
And as such, these folks are a danger to conscience freedoms and school policy initiatives rooting out pro-“LGBTQ” lessons and programs. They can stand up against gender distortion all they want—and that’s a good thing. But they and their GOP allies seem to draw a hard line at fighting the companion perversion of sodomy.
It’s highly likely the “gay-cons” look wistfully at today’s school climate where homosexuality is often openly affirmed. “If only…” they muse about their own adolescent years.
Media homosexuals like Dave Rubin and Guy Benson are similarly double-minded. Benson sent numerous scathing looks my way when I was interviewed in studio by evangelical Christian radio host Sandy Rios years ago, when he was her producer. I couldn’t figure out why this person I had never met was so rude until many years later when he announced his open homosexual identity.
My hope for all these people is that they grow up emotionally and spiritually, realize they were not “born this way” and embrace the bodies God gave them (and their best functions) as they reconcile with their Creator.
Grenell and Benson profess to be Christians, but I am very skeptical that anyone so openly committed to sin and so ready to ditch the clear instructions of Scripture is a true believer. For a refresher on what Scripture says, go HERE.
In another jaw-dropper, the GOP in Virginia is standing behind its lieutenant governor candidate, John Reid, a homosexual who also professes Christian faith. Trump expressed his support for Reid in 2024 at a rally in Virginia and even posed for a photo [see above] standing between Reid and his male lover, who regularly campaigns with him.
But would a true believer tuck dollar bills into the clothing of a drag queen performer, and smile for the camera, as Reid was pictured doing on an Internet site? Or allow himself to be photographed with a whole group of female impersonators? Reid, a former Richmond radio talk show host, has a much younger male lover to whom he is “engaged.”
His candidacy could spell doom for the GOP ticket in a state where Democrats are proposing a state constitutional amendment enshrining same sex “marriage” and Reid’s own position seems squishy at best.
Some are predicting a solid GOP loss. Here’s what Virginia Christian Action reported:
“A 2021 study by political scientists Gabriele Magni and Andrew Reynolds found that Republican candidates perceived as LGBTQ+ suffer an electoral penalty of up to 14.8 percentage points among GOP voters and over 17% among conservatives overall. This so-called ‘identity penalty’ could drag not just Reid down, but any Republican linked to him by proximity on the ballot.”
And a 2025 Gallup poll tells the promising truth, that support for same sex “marriage” among Republicans has dropped 14 points in the last three years.
Even Melania, a practicing Catholic, has expressed support for those who claim a “gay” identity, and has held fundraisers for the ‘gay’ Log Cabin Republicans, one at Mar-a-Lago. Log Cabin members regularly and proudly join debauched “pride” celebrations.
To be fair, this coziness by the GOP leadership with open homosexuals predates Trump. CPAC extended an invitation to the Log Cabin Republicans to exhibit in 2018, while denying an exhibit to pro-family Mass Resistance.
Let’s not forget former U.S. Senator Rob Portman from my state of Ohio, and his backing of same sex “marriage.”
Here’s what I wrote in 2021 about broadening Republican support for homosexuality:
“Mitt Romney. Marco Rubio, whose campaign was heavily backed by pro-homosexual billionaire Paul Singer and who famously said he believes homosexuality is not a choice. Lisa Murkowski. Susan Collins. The congressional representatives who voted for the ‘Equality Act’– John Katko and Tom Reed of New York, and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania.
“Ric Grenell. CPAC. American Opportunity Alliance. Catalyst PAC. American Unity PAC. Big Tent Republicans. Log Cabin Republicans. The once-conservative Chamber of Commerce, now fully transitioned into a shill for the homosexual/ transgender agenda….
“In Ohio, we have our own troubling history on this. Former Republican Governor John Kasich surrounded himself with homosexual advisors and evolved into an open ‘LGBTQ’ advocate. Current Governor Mike DeWine has a checkered record that includes sporadic support for homosexual demands. Our current Secretary of State, Republican Frank LaRose, is a backer of Ohio’s version of the ‘Equality Act.’ Open homosexuals have served in key Ohio GOP party positions.”
And in 2022, four Republican Ohio congressmen—Mike Carey, Anthony Gonzalez, Dave Joyce and Mike Turner—supported the pro-homosexual “Respect for Marriage” Act.
Friends, this needs to change, because we see where it leads. We look like the hypocritical fools we are when party leaders wail about the 13- year- old boy secretly counseled to become “trans,” but apparently have no problem with a 13- year-old boy being instructed in “safe” anal sex for his “dates” with another male, as “LGBTQ- inclusive” comprehensive sex ed encourages.
It’s all perversion—we all know it — and stop pretending otherwise, even if there are seemingly well-spoken people in the “gay” camp. Until God gets a grip on their hearts, their venom and claws will emerge if they have authority over faithful Christians.
America is doomed if the most otherwise sane among us join hands with this movement. God is not mocked.

And there’s no problem with it,” Grenell told another “Homo Con,” Dave Rubin, in 2020.
We also discuss the candidacy of open homosexual Republican John Reid for Lt. Gov in Virginia, its implications for the GOP, as well as the leak of an uber-twisted perversion tape involving leftist journalist (and free speech advocate) Glenn Greenwald. The latter is a pro-homosexuality activist, a “gay parent,” a devotee of sadomasochism, and a favorite of conservatives (for defending Trump).

Has the Republican Party after a decade of Trump dominance and years of “homosexual conservative” advocacy been “flipped” to become a “gay-friendly” party? A party that no longer stands for preserving marriage as between a man and a woman?
It apears so, if the candidacy of John Reid, an out-and-proud homosexual and MAGA Republican running for lieutenant governor in Virginia (alongside his much younger boyfriend)—and its apparent widespread acceptance among the state’s Republicans—are any indication.
But the secular transformation of the GOP on this once-taboo issue will likely come at the expense of alienating and losing the votes of religious conservatives (socialcons) who for decades have been the backbone of the party. The few Virginia Christians who have spoken out publicly against Reid’s candidacy have been maligned—by fellow Republicans—as hateful, judgmental bigots, similar to how pro-LGBT leftists have savaged the “religious Right” ever since out-and-proud homosexuality was pushed into the mainstream of American politics more than half a century ago.
Reid, a pro-Trump former Richmond radio talk show host who favors repealing Virginia’s constitutional amendment banning “gay marriage” and hopes to “marry” his male partner of eight years, Alonzo Mable, became the VA-GOP’s candidate for lieutenant governor as the last man standing in the GOP primary, after a more prominent GOP candidate, Fairfax County Supervisor Pat Herrity, dropped out of the race due to illness.
Reid clearly is benefiting from Trump’s 2016 capitulation on “gay marriage” and his full, public embrace of homosexual couples, an entirely new twist in GOP cultural politics. It wasn’t too long ago, in 1995, when pro-family conservatives held enough sway in the Republican Party to pressure GOP presidential candidate Bob Dole to return a paltry $1,000 donation from the (homosexual) Log Cabin Republicans.
Flip ahead almost three decades and a video at the top of Reid’s campaign website shows Trump calling out his support of not just Reid, but also his male partner Mable, during a Trump MAGA rally in Richmond, Virginia in March 2024. Trump says, “And radio host John Reid and Alonzo. [Pointing to them in the cheering crowd:] They like you guys, wow!…”
Afterward, a beaming Trump posed for an official photo in between Reid and Mable (shown above), who is two decades younger than his aspiring politician boyfriend.
The Trump effect
Trump and his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, have steadily increased their support of “gay Republican” causes over the years, culminating in (professed Catholic) Melania holding two high-powered fundraisers for Log Cabin Republicans, the oldest “gay Republican” organization, whose advocacy dates back to the days when Ronald Reagan was governor of California. Melania’s latest Log Cabin fundraiser, in July 2024, netted $1.4 million for the group, and was held at the Trump’s New York City penthouse in Trump Tower. Previously, she “hosted an LCR event at Mar-a-Lago in April,” the New York Post reports.
Late in her husband’s 2020 presidential campaign, on October 29, 2020, Melania tweeted out a video of herself boasted in a campaign video that her husband was the “first president to enter the White House supporting gay marriage.” In 2011, Donald Trump told Fox News host Bill O’Reilly that he opposed homosexual “marriage,” CNN reported.
Before Trump came along, conservative and moderate Republican factions would battle every four years over the GOP Platform, with the more powerful socialcons invariably winning. But with the rise of “gay conservatives” to prominence in the Trump era, whether they be highly visible, “openly gay” White House appointees like Ric Grenell and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, or “Homo Con” media stars like Dave Rubin and Guy Benson, the principled, social conservative GOP Platform has largely been rendered moot. That platform once stood strongly against all aspects of the “gay” activist agenda, from banning open homosexuals from serving in the U.S. military, to condemning same-sex “marriage.” Trump’s scaled back “platform” for his 2024 presidential run removed the pro-defense-of-marriage plank.
In this context, Reid stands out by exploiting Trump’s agnosticism on “gay marriage” as the first major homosexual GOP statewide candidate to campaign as an “out” homosexual couple with his male partner at his side. Reid and partner Mable are regularly shown together at campaign events on Reid’s social media accounts.
(It is important to note that President Trump 47 has taken substantial executive actions against the “transgender” agenda, and overturned the previous Democrat administration’s “LGBTQ Pride” programs. He also defunded pro-LGBTQ “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” programs throughout the federal government. Recently Trump’s spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt announced that the administration will not be celebrating nor spending any federal monies on “pride month” in June.)
Reid’s past surfaces
After pornographic photos of men surfaced from a Tumblr site using the same handle as Reid’s other social media accounts, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin asked Reid to leave the race so as not to sink the GOP’s ticket in November. Reid insisted that the lewd account was not his, refused to quit, and defiantly accused Youngkin and his aides of “extortion.”
At the same time, the conservative Virginia Christian Alliance published an essay entitled, “Why John Reid Could Tank the GOP Ticket and Destroy Virginia,” by Lynchburg, Va., pastor Rev. Joshua Pratt.
Pratt writes, “On paper, he [Reid] checks the boxes of a traditional GOP candidate—staunch supporter of tax cuts, pro-police, and tough on crime. But there’s one fact that has exploded into controversy among social conservatives: Reid is openly homosexual and plans to marry his longtime partner, Alonzo…. For a party still deeply rooted in evangelical and socially conservative values, Reid’s candidacy is more than unusual—it’s divisive. And to some insiders, it’s downright dangerous.”
The article links to three unearthed photos of Reid and Mable: one shows Reid, standing beside his partner, wearing a shirt that reads, “Liberal in the Bedroom.” Another shows the two men lounging at a “drag” event “surrounded by flamboyantly dressed drag queens in a scene that critics are calling ‘spiritually offensive’ and ‘an open mockery of biblical values,’” Pratt writes. A third photo shows Reid holding a dollar bill, which he is apparently about to put in the cleavage of a drag queen’s (likely hormone-induced) breasts. Another photo, not linked in the VA Christian Alliance piece, shows Reid and a tattooed Mable smiling for the camera as they snuggle shirtless in bed.
Unlike the Tumblr photos, Reid does not deny that these photos are of him, but said in a video message that past life choices of adult politicians are not the concern of voters. He said he has used pornography and had one-night stands in the past, but that the attention paid to his extracurricular activities is unfair and only occurring because he is “gay.”
Pratt says the math does not add up for a GOP win if Christians don’t come out to vote due to Reid’s sexually immoral lifestyle:
“Analysts warn that 10–15% of evangelical conservatives may stay home in November if Reid tops or flanks the ticket. That turnout dip could have devastating consequences—not just for Reid, but for down-ballot candidates in competitive House of Delegates districts.
“Republicans narrowly won the House in 2021 with a 52-48 edge but lost control in 2023 by just three seats. With every district now a battleground, a drop of even 5% in conservative turnout could flip key rural and exurban races. In counties like Patrick, Lee, and parts of Southwest Virginia, where church attendance and biblical values remain central to daily life, Reid’s candidacy could act like a wet blanket on voter enthusiasm and effect the statewide candidates Winsome Sears and Jason Miyares.
“A 2021 study by political scientists Gabriele Magni and Andrew Reynolds found that Republican candidates perceived as LGBTQ+ suffer an electoral penalty of up to 14.8 percentage points among GOP voters and over 17% among conservatives overall. This so-called ‘identity penalty’ could drag not just Reid down, but any Republican linked to him by proximity on the ballot.”
Pratt further criticized the equivocating Reid for supporting the repeal of Virginia’s Constitutional marriage defining marriage as one-man, one-woman (later neutralized by the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2015 imposition of “gay marriage” on the entire nation), while hedging on a Democrat proposal to codify homosexual “marriage” in the state’s Constitution because it might undermine religious liberty.
Hateful barbs against Reid critics
The reaction was swift when Don Blake, founder and president of Virginia Christian Alliance, chose to publish Pratt’s article critical of John Reid candidacy. The comments attacking Blake’s Facebook post linking to the article became so nasty that Blake chose to shut down comments on the post. Here is one sample barb, from Maresa Firth Spangler:
“Don Blake…you are an arrogant person who needs to study the Bible. What a hypocrite you are. Your need for prominence has outweighed your (what may have been?) your common sense and humanity. I’m ashamed of you and your “article” and you should be too. Good luck at the Pearly Gates. You are going to need it. There is NO Christian in you. Stop pretending.”
In castigating Blake, Pratt and anyone who dares to criticize Reid’s sodomitic lifestyle as a disqualify liability, some Reid allies, sounding a lot like angry cultural leftists, smeared Reid’s critics as judgmental bigots, bad Republicans, and as un-Christ-like–the most hurtful attack you can make against a true believer. (The latter is certainly a false accusation in this case: Don Blake is a kind Christian leader who gives generously of his time and resources, including allowing the free use of his VA Christian Alliance headquarters in Richmond. Ironically, among those Republicans who have benefited from use of Blake’s facility is John Reid. Moreover, Blake helped Reid establish a new organization. Disclosure: Blake is a friend of this writer and a Board Member of my non-profit organization, Center For Morality/AmericansForTruth.news.)
Do you get it? The Christians who are hesitant to elevate a man who publicly celebrates the Sin of Sodom as his “orientation” are the “bad Christians,” while those willing to disregard historic Judeo-Christian moral standards to elect Republicans are the “good Christians.”
Blake stated on Facebook: “A Republican candidate who openly defies God’s design for marriage, sexuality, and repentance is not a solution; he becomes part of the problem. This is not our ‘opinion,’ but grounded in scripture. The Bible warns us not to “do evil that good may result” (Romans 3:8). And Jesus said plainly: “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8:36)
He continued: “This is not about cutting off our nose to spite our face—it’s about not trading spiritual integrity for temporary political gains. Once Christians abandon conscience for convenience, we’ve already lost the deeper war. A compromised witness weakens the very foundations of the values we seek to defend. So yes, the battle matters. But so does how we fight it. Faithfulness comes first—even when it costs us.”
“Proudly gay Christians?’
Another aspect of this debate is that most prominent “gay conservatives” also identify as faithful Christians. In 2020, longtime Trump ally and former U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell told another influential “gay Republican,” Dave Rubin, that, “I was made this way. I was born gay…So the fact of the matter is I fully embrace that I was made this way in the image of God and you can be gay and be a Christian. And there’s no problem with it.”
Such assertions, mimicking widely discredited revisionist “gay theology” claims dating back to the early days of the “gay liberation” movement, engender deep confusion among practicing Christians and undermine biblical truth, especially among young people already bombarded by LGBTQ+ propaganda.
The reality is that out-and-proud homosexual candidates put faith-based voters in the very awkward position of choosing between their God-informed conscience and GOP political success.
Tragically, Reid’s (along with his homosexual partner’s) visibility pulls the Republicans socially leftward, putting the party of “Faith, Family and Freedom” in the hypocritical position of elevating a candidate who casually mocks historic Judeo-Christian sexual norms, and who proudly embraces what God calls an “abomination” (Leviticus 20:13) as his core “identity” and “orientation.”
One longtime Christian, conservative Republican activist in Virginia told LSN that she fears the increasingly brazen advocacy of proud homosexuality and “gay relationships” in the GOP and among MAGA Republicans will fracture the longstanding “marriage of convenience” in the party between religious conservatives and pro-gay libertarians.
Grenell: ‘Anti-gays’ will be run out of GOP
With President Trump and the First Lady on their side, and even raising big money for them, Homo Cons can hardly be blamed for thinking they’re already won the battle over homosexuality in the GOP. Grenell said in an interview with Don Trump, Jr., last year that Republicans’ opposition to homosexuality has softened so much in recent years that “there’s no debate about [gay] “equality” in the GOP and being “anti-gay” could lead to people being “run out” of the party.
“I’ve watched how [conservatives have] changed on gay issues. … at this point, there’s no debate about [gay] equality,” the Grenell said on Don Jr.’s show “Triggered,” May 2, 2024. “And now I really believe that you can’t be anti-gay in the Republican Party and not be run out of the party.”
“It’s really important for people to understand … that the [pro-gay] growth in the Republican Party has been enormous. Donald Trump has blown the doors off this process to really welcome gay conservatives in,” Grenell said excitedly, before tearing into the “gay Left.”

A key Trump aide, former Ambassador to Germany Ric Grenell, says Republicans’ opposition to homosexuality has softened so much in recent years that “there’s no debate about [gay] “equality” in the GOP and being “anti-gay” could lead to people being “run out” of the party.
“I’ve watched how [conservatives have] changed on gay issues. … at this point, there’s no debate about [gay] equality,” the openly gay Grenell told former President Donald Trump’s son, Don Trump, Jr., in a May 2, 2024 interview on the latter’s show, “Triggered. ” “And now I really believe that you can’t be anti-gay in the Republican Party and not be run out of the party.”
“It’s really important for people to understand … that the [pro-gay] growth in the Republican Party has been enormous. Donald Trump has blown the doors off this process to really welcome gay conservatives in,” Grenell said excitedly, before tearing into the “gay Left.”
Grenell was appointed by then-President Trump (45) as U.S. Ambassador to Germany, before rising to Acting Director of National Intelligence, a cabinet-level position, in 2020. He is widely popular in MAGA world for his Trump loyalty and his strong defense of Trump’s “America First” foreign policy. In the current administration, Trump appointed Grenell as Special Presidential Envoy for Special Missions of the United States.
Grenell’s cocksure assertion about the unpopularity of Republicans who oppose homosexuality—in line with pro-homosexual-“marriage” and pro-“gay parenting” statements by other leading homosexual conservatives (also called “HomoCons” or “GayCons”) like Dave Rubin—signals a growing confidence, bordering on arrogance, among this tiny portion of the Republican “big tent.”
With a shared self-interest in rationalizing their disordered sexual lifestyle, the GayCons have skillfully exploited Trump’s social liberalism and apathy toward GOP “culture war” politics. Trump’s nonchalance toward homosexuality goes way back; in fact, he was “introduced to conservatives at the annual CPAC (Conservative Political Action Committee) conference in D.C. in 2011 by activists with GOProud, a splinter group for homosexual Republicans that is now defunct.
Most Republicans probably are unaware that Trump as a New York City businessman once strongly advocated for “gay rights,” as he did most emphatically in a 2000 interview with the homosexual magazine The Advocate, in which he proposed making homosexuality part of U.S. civil rights law.
“I like the idea of amending the 1964 Civil Rights Act to include a ban of discrimination based on sexual orientation. It would be simple. It would be straightforward. We don’t need to rewrite the laws currently on the books,” Trump told the Advocate, responding to the question: “What would you do to combat antigay prejudice?”
“But amending the Civil Rights Act would grant the same protection to gay people that we give to other Americans—it’s only fair,” he said. “I actually suggested this first, and now I see [then-Democrat presidential candidate Senator] Bill Bradley has jumped on the bandwagon and is claiming the idea as his own.”
Twenty-five years later, with their legion of conservative media followers and allies, the GayCons make up a powerful force that could propel the Trump-dominated GOP to permanently abandon its longstanding Platform defending traditional marriage and opposing legal “rights” based on sex-and-gender aberrance.
If Grenell, other prominent homosexual conservatives and their libertarian allies succeed, they would effectively chop off one leg of Ronald Reagan’s cherished “three-legged stool” formula for electoral success in the Republican Party: 1) fiscally conservative tax-and-spending policies; 2) strong national defense and “peace through strength” foreign policy; and 3) traditional, pro-family and pro-life policies.
Surely, changing social attitudes, especially among Millennials and younger voters, are also driving the change in Republican approaches toward “gay” issues. But principled social conservatives and pro-lifers, mostly the biblically faithful evangelicals, traditional Catholics and religious voters who have long been considered the GOP’s voting base, find themselves increasingly alienated and ostracized by the gay-allied power-brokers in the GOP and conservative media.
Will the GOP go officially ‘gay’?
As a clearer picture emerges of Team Trump’s (including First Lady Melania’s) pro-homosexual-rights bent, and how unencumbered the President is by potential resistance from “the evangelicals,” as he calls them, it is time for principled social conservatives to come to grips with the real possibility that a President Trump 2.0 could transform the GOP into an officially pro-same-sex-“marriage” party.
A similar sea-change in core values occurred in the U.K.’s Conservative Party more than a dozen years ago under then-Prime Minister David Cameron, who bucked Tory social conservatives by advocating for legalizing “gay marriage” in the U.K., becoming an unlikely crusader for homosexual “rights.” The first legal homosexual “marriages” occurred in England in 2014.
In this scenario, a “modernized” GOP could officially sanction “gay marriage” (and gay adoption, etc.)—and even help deliver another public policy prize long coveted by LGBTQ+ activists (the “Equality Act”): making homosexuality, transsexuality and other “queer” lifestyles and identities the basis for federal “civil right” law, just like race.

A 2022 “LGBTQ rights” video on Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris’ YouTube channel features a photo from a 1994 pro-NAMBLA press conference in which leftist “gay liberation” activists proclaimed the message: “We March with NAMBLA.”
NAMBLA is the acronym for the North American Man/Boy Love Association, a much-despised group that advocates for sex between men and underage boys. In the early days of “gay liberation,” some prominent homosexual activists fought, ultimately without success, to include NAMBLA in the emerging “gay” coalition. The “Spirit of Stonewall” press event was called to condemn New York City’s homosexual “gay pride” parade organizers for banning the notorious pederasty group from their parade on the 25th anniversary of the “birth” of the modern, out-and-proud “gay liberation” movement.
NAMBLA’s website, in 2010, described “man/boy love” — its euphemism for (predatory) sexual “relationships” between men and boys — as follows: “It’s the love of a man for a boy, and of a boy for a man. Enjoyable, consensual, beautiful.” NAMBLA was allowed to march in early American “gay pride” parades before it was expelled.
The 1994 documentary “Chicken Hawk: Men Who Love Boys” exposed NAMBLA by showing “the pedophiles discuss sexual relationships between men and boys below the age of consent,” according to a description on Vimeo of the film, which “has been screened for the FBI, university criminology departments and other law enforcement agencies.”
Kamala Harris, a longtime, ardent advocate of LGBTQ agendas, routinely touts her experience as a prosecutor prosecuting sex traffickers.
The photo included in the Kamala Harris video (see video at bottom starting at the 1:04 mark) shows pro-NAMBLA advocate Harry Hay and other gay activists speaking in front of a “Spirit of Stonewall (SOS)” banner. Two “Spirit of Stonewall” placards are shown in the photo, but the full images of the signs are not visible. What’s missing are the words, all capitalized: “WE MARCH WITH NAMBLA,” at the bottom of the signs. This is proved by an archived photo of the same “SOS” press event found in the San Francisco Public Library.
The SFPL photo, titled, “Spirit of Stonewall (S.O.S.) Press Conference at Stonewall Inn,” shows five “SOS” placards at the same event with the identical message, “WE MARCH WITH NAMBLA,” at the bottom. The digitally-archived photo documents the same event as the photo in the Kamala Harris “Pride Month” video, as evidenced by the identical clothing of the participants and other elements shared by both photos.
Left-wing “gay liberationists” including homosexual-rights icon Harry Hay held their own “Spirit of Stonewall” counter-rally and press conference to defend NAMBLA against what they perceived as the increasing assimilationist tendencies of gay activist leaders. In New York City and other major American cities, and across the Western world, gay/LGBTQ “pride” parades are held in June to commemorate the anti-police riots at a Mafia-run Greenwich Village homosexual bar called the Stonewall Inn, beginning in late June of 1969. LGBTQ historians have cast the anti-cop riots as a heroic “rebellion” and heralded them as launching the modern “gay liberation” movement.

Ironically, in the section of the Kamala Harris video showing the gay activists speaking at their pro-NAMBLA event, the Vice-President is heard saying a line from her speech to a major LGBTQ lobby group: “We are a nation that was founded on noble ideals.”

Harry Hay’s pro-NAMBLA advocacy
NAMBLA proudly documents the pro-“man/boy love” advocacy of “gay rights” icon Harry Hay, who died in 2002. Hay was the first American to envision homosexuals collectively as a “minority” deserving “rights.” He founded the Mattachine Society, the first successful “national” homosexual activist group, in 1950, when homosexuality was taboo.
The left-leaning, pro-LGBTQ Wikipedia, in a lengthy entry on Hay, quotes Hay biographer Stuart Timmons, who describes Hay as the “Founder of the Modern Gay Movement,” and another source, the Encyclopedia of Lesbian and Gay Histories and Cultures, describing him as the “father of gay liberation.”
On its website, NAMBLA gives the following as a transcription from a videotape of Hay’s remarks at the 1994 “Spirit of Stonewall” (SOS) press conference. Note how Hay, a former Communist Party USA member, recasts “child molestation” away from homosexual man-on-boy predation to the “outrageous coercion of gay kids into hetero identities and behaviors against their wills.” This is the same self-serving rhetorical tactic that would later be used by San Francisco “gay” activist Harvey Milk, who himself was victimized as a 14-year-old boy by homosexual predators, and who would go on to enter into a live-in homosexual “marriage” with a teenage boy when he was in his thirties. Hay said at the “SOS” event:
Sir Julian Huxley, the great English biologist, said, at the beginning of this century, no negative trait—and, as you know, a negative trait is one that does not reproduce itself—no negative trait ever appears, and reappears, millennia after millennia after millennia, unless it in some way serves the survival of that species. We gays and lesbians may embody, or have discovered, some things that you folks desperately need to know about.
I’m here today as a survivor, as well as the founder of the first ongoing gay organization in the United States, the Mattachine Society, first formed in 1950 in Los Angeles, and now, naturally, a member of SOS, the Spirit of Stonewall, because things we discovered about ourselves and principles we developed in 1950 to ‘53 are now being trashed by queers who don’t know their own history, all over the place.
We decided from the beginning that, first, because we were still discovering our parameters, we wouldn’t censure each other. If people like NAMBLA self-identify themselves to me as gays and lesbians, I accept them as brothers and sisters with love.
Second, when we decided to rejoin the social or political mainstream again, we would integrate as the group we saw ourselves to be, complete with our own set of values, or we would not integrate at all.
And third, we would no longer permit any heteros—nationally or internationally, individually or collectively—to tell us who we are, what persons our groups should or should not consist of. We assert our right to self-determination, we assert our right to collective self-definition. We queers will decide for ourselves who our members should be.
Members of SOS, notably NAMBLA, have been accused of child molestation. Insofar as child molestation is concerned, the most common form is the sexual coercion by which gay and lesbian children are bedeviled into hetero identities and behaviors. And this is practiced daily by the whole national and international hetero community—parents, family, teachers, preachers, doctors, lawyers, and Indian chiefs, not to overlook U.S. senators and pooh-bah media.
This outrageous coercion of gay kids into hetero identities and behaviors against their wills is not only sexually abusive, it is spiritually devastating rape, because the child unbeknowingly is being led into developing self-loathing at the same time. For this gigantic criminal trespass against not only today’s children but against all of us also—all of us—since childhood, from the queers my age of 82 down through all the generations of queers assembled here in New York, to the gay kids still being bedeviled by sexual coercion against their wills, we the international gay and lesbian people here this week should unite to sue the whole guilty heterosexual community lock, stock, and barrel to within an inch of their lives, and for every nickel they’ve got, as a beginning of compensation. And while we’re at it, we should request our first-class citizenship as well. This could be the class-action suit of the century.

Increasingly, the push for full acceptance and promotion of the LGBTQ+ agenda is advancing. In fact, According to one poll, 28% of Gen-Z adults are identifying as LGBTQ.
The result? Women’s sports are being decimated and dominated by men who are identifying as women. Leading up to the Super Bowl, the NFL is committed to bowing to the diversity, equity and inclusion movement as it will be hosting the third annual, “A Night of Pride” with GLAAD during Super Bowl Week. Politically, additional LGBTQ+ appointments to the federal bench are being made by the Biden administration, while polyamory is on the increase.
Are we fast approaching the days of Lot? That’s a question to ponder as Crosstalk welcomed Peter LaBarbera back to Crosstalk. Peter is the founder and president of Americans for Truth. The Public Religion Research Institute is the organization making the claim that 28% of Gen-Z adults (ages 18-25) are identifying as LGBTQ. Peter doesn’t completely believe that figure because he contends that the PRRI is a liberal polling group and that it’s in their interest to promote progressive ideas in religion and Christianity. Nonetheless, he found out from Gallop in early 2022 that based upon polling from the previous year, 20.8% of Gen-Z’ers were identifying as LGBT.
Peter believes this crisis is the result of the “mainstreaming” of perversion toward young people and that this activity expands the list of perversions. This broadcast demonstrates what recent history has shown us in this regard and that since homosexuality was normalized, in the name of diversity, you can’t say “no” to other perverse lifestyles such as transgenderism or polyamory.
Peter’s concern is that the only way out of this cascading deviance is revival because we’re at the stage where young people simply see homosexuality as normal. In fact, they almost see it as “square.” Instead the cutting edge thing is to be non-binary or gender fluid.
From the LGBTQ perspective, mainstreaming through indoctrination is working and it’s hitting America like a flood because like an open dam, the boundaries have been removed. The flood is hitting everyone, especially young people, and they’re being offered numerous identity options, all based upon subjective feelings, that go beyond the letters, LGBTQ.

- A New York City government arts program launched in 2021 by former Democrat Mayor Bill de Blasio gave a $5,000 grant to a homosexual filmmaker for a salacious short film, “Trade Center.” The film [see full transcript below] fondly reminisces about secret gay men’s orgy spaces in the World Trade Center, e.g., public restrooms and staircases before the twin towers were destroyed by Islamic terrorists on September 11, 2001.
- The eight-minute “documentary” by homosexual filmmaker and pornography site writer Adam Baran gives an oral history “sex tour” of the pre-9/11 WTC complex. It fondly remembers gay “cruising” sites at the twin towers where men would meet furtively to engage in deviant sex acts with other men. The film’s raunchy subject matter did not stop it from receiving plaudits from “woke” film groups and the video streaming company Vimeo, which bans Christian ministry’s and church videos that oppose homosexuality. Another short film by Baran features a 14-year-old boy who is spurred on by a gay porn star in his quest to secure homosexual pornographic magazines.

In the run-up to the 20-year anniversary of the horrific September 11, 1991 Al-Qaeda terror attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center towers and almost 3,000 innocent lives, most media offered touching remembrances of the victims by their families and friends. Among those victims were more than 400 New York-area cops and firefighters who died trying to save stranded people in the crumbling, scorched towers.
But one homosexual New York City filmmaker, Adam Baran, took a novel—some would say twisted—approach to commemorating the somber September 11th anniversary. Baran’s short film, “Trade Center” [see trailer on YouTube HERE], dwells instead on the homosexual, anonymous-sex “cruising” spots located inside the World Trade Center skyscraper complex before it was reduced to rubble by Islamic terrorists flying commandeered passenger planes.
“Trade Center,” just eight-minutes long, features audio interviews with five homosexual men fondly recollecting the various “cruising” restrooms and stairwells— “orgy rooms” —inside the pre-9/11 World Trade Center complex, where they and fellow men “in-the-know” would gather to sodomize each other in quick, anonymous encounters. This deviant behavior is euphemistically celebrated by many on the Sexual Left, especially anti-establishment LGBTQ devotees, as “public sex.”
The pro-pornography Baran, ex-editor of the raunchy, online homosexual magazine BUTT, describes “Trade Center” on the movie site IMDB as follows:
“The voices of five gay men who cruised for sex at the World Trade Center in the 1980s and 1990s haunt the sanitized, commerce-driven landscape that is the newly rebuilt Freedom Tower campus. Shot over the course of one day in late February 2020, Trade Center takes viewers on a tour of the former financial hub, which was destroyed during the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001. 19 years later, we traverse a bustling new ecosystem while our five subjects describe their memories of meaningful public sex encounters in each location.”
Taxpayer-funded “art” glorifies perversion
Baran’s film was subsidized by New York City taxpayers through a new program that gave $5,000 grants to 3,000 local artists affected by the Covid pandemic. In May 2021, (Democrat) Mayor Bill de Blasio and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs announced the formation of City Artist Corps, which awarded $25 million to grantees, including Baran and his “Trade Center” project.
“Trade Center,” viewable on Vimeo HERE [see full film transcript below], gives a “sex tour of the World Trade Center,” and begins with these words narrated by Billy Miller, himself the editor of a homosexual pornographic print magazine titled “Straight to Hell”:
“Back in the late 1970s, every public restroom, secluded park, roadside stop, was a potential or actual orgy room.
“I stumbled upon several hot spots within my first few days in New York City. There weren’t any cameras or anything like that, and they were just open 24 hours a day. One such spot was most definitely the World Trade Center.”
Baran apparently uses “trade” in the film’s name as a double-entendre, since “trade” in the gay slang of the ‘70s referred to secretly homosexual casual sex partners. Bruce Rodgers’ 1972 “dictionary of gay slang,” Gay Talk, defines “trade” as a “nonreciprocal sex partner, usually straight.” Another homosexual writer, sociologist Laud Humphreys, defined “trade” as “tricks” [sex partners] “who do not, as yet, consider themselves homosexual.” [Laud Humphreys, “Tearoom Trade: Impersonal sex in public places,” p. 47]
Men’s restrooms become gay orgy areas
There is nothing in “Trade Center” remotely critical of the makeshift homosexual orgies that took place (illegally) in the iconic New York skyscraper complex, undeterred by occasional police interruptions. Quite the contrary: the film’s subjects cherished the memory of their secretive sodomitic encounters in otherwise public spaces (including restrooms frequented by boys). Here is a transcription of a segment from the beginning of the film:
NARRATOR BILLY MILLER: “Stop Number One on a sex tour of the World Trade Center would be the men’s room on the lower level near the entrance to the PATH [Port Authority Trans-Hudson] trains.”
ANONYMOUS MAN INTERVIEWD FOR FILM: “It was a massive station with…restaurants and bars, and all the way in the back was the…big-ass bathroom with probably ten or so urinals on either side, and middle of the day there’s five, seven guys just standing there jerking off [masturbating] in the stalls–everyone from blue-collar folks to guys in three-piece suits.”
MILLER: “Lunch hour was typically out of control, and the cops would periodically try to bust it up by standing around for a while with their walkie talkies turned up loud for effect. Or they’d knock a nightstick on the stalls and bark something like [in deep voice], ‘Okay, ladies, time to break it up.’ But the minute they’d leave, the boys would be back at it.”
MAN: “Nobody was worried at all about being busted. That gave us a sense that it was our space.”
ANOTHER MAN INTERVIEWED: “Pretty much any time of day you went, there was something going on.
Here is another portion of the film. Note to the uninitiated: “tearoom” is a gay slang term for sexually “cruisy” public restrooms (derived from British slang linking “tea” to urine):
NARRATOR MILLER: “… And it was completely anonymous. For the more in-the-know. For the more in-the-know there were other, more private restrooms, and in those tearooms there’d often be more leisurely [f—king] and sucking going on [describing homosexual sodomies].
INTERVIEWED MAN #1: “Everyone wanted to be with the Wall Street men, because they had so much money. That’s why one of the biggest cruising areas was the 12the floor of the World Trade Center.”
INTERVIEWED MAN #2: “Back then, you didn’t have to sign in, so it was quite easy to go into the World Trade Center.”
MAN #1: “The best way to do it would be just in a suit. I walked into the elevator, went up to the 12th floor. I walked into the restroom. And there was, like, six, 12 guys, all getting blowjobs [oral sex]. There were a couple guys getting [f–ked] [sodomized] and all the time, everybody was in suits, which made it even hotter. There were three occasions I did that, and all three occasions, I walked in and it was just, like, it was that way. It was wild.”
Trade Center’s narrator Miller and the men interviewed go on to excitedly describe the homosexual sex “cruising” in the underground stairwell of the Twin Towers:
NARRATOR: The thing about that stairwell that made it so popular was that the cops never patrolled it, and you could hear someone coming from several floors above or below. Basically, nobody took these stairs except horndogs who used it as a secluded sex spot.
MAN #2 DESCRIBING STAIRWELL ENCOUNTER: “I went up to him and he went up a couple of stairs higher and unzipped his pants, and I started sucking him. He grabbed my hand and pulled me a few stairs up so that my [penis] was now at his mouth level. We kind of continued that rhythm to make it easier, given the geometry of sucking cock in a stairwell.”
The film ends with an appeal to emotion as the narrator speculates that men who were engaging in homosexual sex acts in the various “orgy rooms” at the World Trade Center perished when the terrorists struck the towers with hijacked planes. Narrator Miller states:
“I’ve talked to at least one guy who was there in one of those tearooms when the planes hit those buildings. My mind visualized that happening, and it’s impossible that all those other people could have gotten out.”
This idea, that the 9/11 attacks killed men in World Trade Center “tearooms” while they were engaging in secretive, yet public sexual romps is what motivated Baran to make “Trade Center” to recover lost history of sorts. He told Interview magazine:
“I’d always been obsessed with cruising, particularly because it’s this silent language with all these hidden rules that you have to figure out on your own. I was also really fascinated by the idea that there may have been people who were cruising in the World Trade Center when the towers were attacked on 9/11. It was interesting that the mythology of 9/11 actively erased this whole other part of the story of the World Trade Center.”
Note how Baran faults media for not telling—indeed, he says erasing—the story of homosexual-sex “cruisers” at the WTC. “Trade Center” is based on an essay by narrator Miller (written under a pseudonym) titled “The Towers of Cum & Horndogs of Yore,” in a book called Petite Mort: Recollections of a Queer Public. (Petit Mort is a French idiom for orgasm.) The 2011 book is filled with stories, mostly by men, with a few lesbians, sharing pictures and descriptions of their deviant homosexual encounters in public places like Central Park in New York City.
Vimeo’s curious ethics
Baran uploaded “Trade Center” to Vimeo on September 7, 2021, four days before the two-decade anniversary of the Al Queda terror attacks that changed the American political and cultural landscape forever. The video streaming company honored the short film with its “Staff Pick” award, and by permanently hosting it online.
As an indication of the deep (and anti-Christian) biases that dominate Vimeo and countless other “woke,” pro-LGBTQ corporations, the same Vimeo in 2017 closed the account and took down all 850 videos of a Christian “ex-gay” ministry, Pure Passion, founded by ex-homosexual David Kyle Foster. Pure Passion’s wholesome videos featured testimonies of men and women who overcame homosexual or other sexually sinful desires through their faith in Christ, and went on to live in line with their biblical moral values.
Vimeo reportedly told Foster and Pure Passion:
“To put it plainly, we don’t believe that homosexuality requires a cure and we don’t allow videos on our platform that espouse this point of view…We also consider this basic viewpoint to display a demeaning attitude toward a specific group, which is something that we do not allow.”
Thus, due to the tremendous power of “gay” and “trans” activists, Vimeo bans as “demeaning” to LGBTQ-identified people any videos defending the historic, Judeo-Christian belief that homosexuality is sinful and changeable behavior. Meanwhile, it celebrates and platforms edgy, “gay”-positive content, including Baran’s film glorifying “public sex” between men, i.e., men sodomizing each other in public restrooms open to people of all ages.

Adam Baran: “queer” radical, pro-gay porn for teens
Baran is an unapologetic, pro-pornography, self-styled “queer” sex radical who, like many on the “sex-positive” Left, bemoans the “commercialization” of the present “gay”/LGBTQ movement (think: large corporations sponsoring annual “Pride” parades nationwide). In the eyes of such radical-sex “purists,” the “mainstreaming” of “gay” came at the expense of celebrating the actual (deviant) subversive sex culture that once defined the movement and made homosexuals “sexual outlaws.”
As can be seen from the film transcript below, “Trade Center’s” narrator criticizes the post-9/11 environment in New York City in which then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani cracked down on the city’s sleazy sex businesses, like strip clubs and gay bars with orgy-enabling “dark rooms,” to reduce crime and improve the living quality of the city’s residents.
Baran produced a Netflix documentary, “Circus of Books” (2020), which sympathetically and non-judgmentally tells the story of a “religious” Jewish couple that owned a homosexual bookstore near Los Angeles. The now-shuttered bookstore also produced hard-core gay porn films for sale. The couple’s son comes out as “gay,” causing his mother angst but eventually leading her to become an LGBTQ advocate. No connection is made between the son’s new sexual identity and his parents’ homosexual pornography business.
Another Baran short film, “Jackpot” (2012) [see trailer on YouTube], features a secretly homosexual 14-year-old boy who risks getting beat up by classmates to grab a stash of gay pornographic magazines thrown away in a local dumpster across town. In the film, teenager “Jack Hoffman” is urged on by the gay porn star of his masturbatory fantasies, “Ricky Swayze,” who comes to life as if off the cover of one of the magazines Jack is trying to possess. The boy ultimately succeeds in his quest, and ends up lying on his bed in his room with a bruised eye gazing at the magazine with Swayze on the cover.
Baran told the Huffington Post that “Jackpot” was, in part, “about how our erotic materials help gay men understand who they are — even if sometimes it leads them to form the wrong impressions about what sex is actually going to be like.”
The hyper-promiscuous world to which a large portion of supposed “gay” teen boys like “Jack” are inducted celebrates multiple-partner and assorted perversions on such a scale that few outsiders could scarcely conceive of its depravity.
Baran has written for the homosexual porn site The Sword, celebrating various porn producers and gay porn stars. In one interview he champions the creator of a “Dad” series of “incest-themed films.” Reviewing an animated porn film about a man tasked with cleaning up bathhouses (gay sex clubs), he writes: “As gay men, we love going to cruisey gay bars, sex clubs, and bathhouses. But there’s a dirty, somewhat icky side to the bathhouse experience – namely, who’s gonna clean up the mess afterwards?”
In a sympathetic piece in the online GQ Magazine titled, “The Secret Gay History of the World Trade Center”), Baran explained the “gay” divide between celebrating deviance and cultivating “respectability”:
This cleaning up of gayness, gay spaces, and gay culture is familiar to lots of queer people, Baran [said]: “We know the earliest queer movements in our country, from the queer liberation movement to the pre-liberation movement, that there’s this ongoing tension always between the forces of who are respectable and want to say ‘if we just show society that we’re good and that we can be good citizens, they will let us in’,” Baran began. “And then there’s the other people who are saying, ‘We don’t want to be a part of that dominant society: that dominant society does horrible things, it promotes wars, it’s racist, it’s classist, and we want to show solidarity.’ And the gay movement from the ‘60s on, that was kind of the split.”
As for Baran and his ilk on the Sexual Left, there appears to be few limits on just how unrespectable, debauched and filthy gay “sex” acts can become without losing their support. Incest (porn), sadomasochism, and (eroticized) degradation are mere “fetishes.” For example, among Baran’s online published articles on a gay pornography site is a sympathetic interview with an extreme homosexual “masochist,” an older man who took a job as a janitor so he could venture to local restrooms. The man fetishizes getting urinated on by the “jocks” who use the facilities.

So I’m sure 9/11 totally killed anything happening anywhere in the city.”
NARRATOR: The World Trade Center was…both the literal and also metaphorical end to all of that stuff. Things that had previously been under the radar that everybody knew about, they just didn’t talk about, came out to the forefront, because the powers-that-be all the sudden acknowledged everything. Within weeks of that event, the whole world started changing very rapidly. The escalators in one case are still in the same place that they were before, but it’s so totally different. It was also dangerous, which it really isn’t now.
MAN #3: “I did venture back to these bathrooms a few times, but the stairwell was definitely one of the most memorable experiences there. I never saw him again [guy he fellated in stairwell]. It saddens me that so many conservatives have become “moral relativists” of sorts who, even as they push back strongly against the radical “trans” agenda, have largely gone silent against what most on the Right used to call “the gay agenda.” (Conservatives love patriotic God-talk but it seems many would follow a “GOP” version of the Bible, which, if it existed, would give a pass on the Sin of Sodom to Republicans and Libertarians.)
The emergence of “gay”-affirming “conservatism” is intellectually dishonest and morally/spiritually craven. The truth is: the Bible unequivocally proscribes homosexuality as sinful. Moreover, deviance begets deviance, and there would be no Big Trans and Big LGBTQ+ (beware the “+”!) agendas without the media-driven triumph of the “Gay” revolution. Let’s Not Forget the LGB When Pushing Back Against the T

It is not just Christian conservatives who are pushing backing against transgender activism these days.
Prominent liberals, along with well-known gay and lesbian activists, have also been raising their voices, especially when it comes to transitioning Schildren. Together with conservatives, they are protesting the insanity of biological males competing against biological females or against putting young children on puberty blockers and performing sex-change surgery on minors.
But that is only one side of the coin.
The flip side of all this is that homosexual practice has become more and more accepted to the point that fewer and fewer conservatives will tackle it head on.
Is this a direct result of the Supreme Court redefining marriage in 2015? Or because “gay conservatives” have become political allies? Or because a loving, adult, consensual relationship is a lot less offensive than removing the breasts of a healthy 14-year-old girl? Or because of personal relationships with LGB couples or individuals? Or because of the relentless media bombardment going back more than three decades?
Whatever the cause, the fact is that, as much as opposition to transgender activism has increased, opposition to LGB activism has decreased.
This is a serious error, theologically, morally, and practically, since the transgender movement is just the logical extension of the homosexual movement, the inevitable next step on the LGBQ trajectory.
As Francis Schaeffer pointed out in his 1968 book The God Who Is There?, “But much modern homosexuality is an expression of the current denial of antithesis. It has led in this case to an obliteration of the distinction between man and woman. So the male and the female as complementary partners are finished.”
As I noted in a 2018 article, “Yes, Schaeffer saw this 50 years ago, one year before the Stonewall Riots and the rise of the militant gay revolution, and long before the push for same-sex ‘marriage.’
Schaeffer added, “It is imperative that Christians realize the conclusions which are being drawn as a result of the death of absolutes.”
In response, I wrote in 2018, “How much more imperative is it that we realize this today, as society pushes hard to destroy the ‘gender binary’ and as male-female distinctives are considered an enemy?”
Without any possible doubt, if we do not reaffirm our position that homosexual practice and same-sex relationships are sinful in God’s sight and detrimental to society, we will lose the moral battle for our nation. If we do not reaffirm our belief that marriage is the union of a man and a woman, we will see a continued downward spiral into sexual and gender confusion.
There is nothing more fundamental to a society than the institution of marriage, and once you redefine that, you redefine everything. Once you say that biology does not matter when it comes to marriage, it’s a small jump to say that biology doesn’t matter when it comes to gender identity, and from there, it’s an even smaller jump to putting children on puberty blockers and subjecting them to mutilating surgery. And once kids are raised in a same-sex environment with two mommies or two daddies, no matter how loving and caring those parents might be, it will bring confusion on the next generation.
Or do you think it’s just a coincidence that 21 percent of Gen Z young people now identify as somewhere on the LGBTQ+ spectrum (according to Gallup; according to Barna, the number is 40 percent) as compared to 2.8 percent of Baby Boomers?
Mark it down and archive this article for your records. Everything will reproduce after its own kind. You can count on it. If we accept LGB, we will get T.
That’s why some of us on the front lines of the culture wars were able to predict the current developments years ago. It was not because we were prophets (although Schaeffer’s insights were filled with prophetic insights). It was because we could see the inevitable trajectory and because we took the comments of LGBTQ+ activists seriously.
That’s why the last chapter in my 2011 book A Queer Thing Happened to America was titled “GLBT and Beyond: Reflections on Our Current Trajectory” (back then, the G came before the L).
That’s why the opening quote at the beginning of the chapter was drawn from the book Genderqueer: Voices Beyond the Sexual Binary. It stated, “In recent years gender identity has galvanized the queer community perhaps more than any other issue. The questions go beyond the nature of male or female to a yet-to-be transverse region that lies somewhere between and beyond biologically determined gender.”
But of course.
That’s why I wrote in that chapter, “Without a doubt, those of us who oppose the current trajectory of GLBT and beyond will be told that we are on the ‘wrong side of history,’ that we have branded ourselves as intolerant bigots, that we have marginalized ourselves to the point of no return. So be it. It is better to stand up for what is right than to have the approval of the masses. It is better to swim against the tide when it is going in the wrong direction then to be carried along with the (always fickle) whims of current public opinion.”
I continued: “Do we really have a choice? Can we simply sit back and let gender anarchy rule the day? What will we say to our children and grandchildren? How will we explain to them that it was on our watch that ‘Mother and Father’ became ‘Parent A and Parent B’? That North American courts ruled that the public use of certain verses in the Bible was a hate crime punishable by law? That businesses were penalized because they would not support gay activism? That college professors were fired and university students dismissed because they took issue with homosexual practice? How will we justify our silence and inaction?”
Those questions remain just as pertinent today.
Let us not deceive ourselves into thinking that, by opposing radical transgender activism, we can stem the larger decline into sexual confusion, which itself is the natural fruit of the sexual revolution, which quickly went from hetero to homo to beyond.
By all means, let us truly love our neighbors as ourselves and practice decency and civility. But we can do that without affirming that which violates God’s fundamental order and plan.
To ignore the LGB while opposing the T is a shortsighted counsel of despair.

Hi there, everybody! My name is Chloe Cole and I flew out here all the way from California. So, for those of you who don’t know me, I am a former transgender kid. I’m biologically female but throughout a good portion of my adolescence I identified as male.

I started by socially transitioning at 12 [years old], meaning I cut my hair shorter, started buying … boys clothing and asked my family to refer to me by a new name that I chose.

A lot of you must be wondering: how does this happen? What led up to this?
Well, there are several factors that make our youth quite vulnerable.

I actually had a relatively normal early childhood. I had interests that were typical of a girl my age. I loved pink, purple, and blue; skirts, dresses, necklaces, dolls; and I also liked drawings, video games and playing in the dirt or with my older brother’s Legos or Nerf guns or toy trucks.

As I got older I started to associate with and relate more to boys and I found it more and more difficult to connect with or even understand other girls my age.

I started puberty at roughly nine years old, so from a very young age I dealt with both my peers and adults making uncomfortable or even hurtful comments on my developing body.

I moved neighborhoods before entering middle school and I turned to the internet because I had so few friends in person. Little did I know that as soon as I made my first Instagram account at [age] 11, I would immediately be recommended—no, bombarded–
with trans-identifying kids, unachievable body standards and even softcore porn.

I never stood a chance because that was just the beginning. Postmodern feminism taught me that throughout all of human history, women have been suppressed and oppressed and still are to this day.

Today’s intersectional feminism has very little to do with women’s rights. It has devolved into infringing upon the rights of others while reducing women to sex objects in a costume that men can wear when they want to taste the rainbow.

It is clear why I despised the idea of growing from a girl into a woman. But as a kid I couldn’t reason properly or introspect well enough to understand why I felt this way.

I came out to my parents with a letter that I left on the table asking them to refer to me by the name “Leo” and call me their son.

They wanted to support me but they were at a loss of what to do for me. And so they turned to the help of healthcare professionals who went on to coerce them into giving up their role as parents and letting me do as I please.

We had no idea these so-called doctors and therapists were just butchers and liars.

They told my parents that it was a life or death choice and if they chose not to accept me as their son, they would certainly end up with a dead daughter.

I thought that by starting cross-sex hormones my body would become more consistent with my real gender identity. The only person to question this other than my initially reluctant parents was an endocrinologist who refused to medicalize me because he was wary of how it could affect my brain development.

He was the only doctor I saw who didn’t immediately affirm my identity and choices, and I wouldn’t be your surprised if he eventually resigned or was fired for safeguarding younger patients.

My gender specialist expressed frustration and immediately referred me to another endocrinologist who was quick to give me consent forms for puberty-blocking medication and injectable testosterone.

I remember her asking my 13-year-old self: “Are you aware you may experience atrophy of some reproductive organs? Are you aware that this may affect your ability to have children in the future?”

It didn’t matter what she told me. I did not have the mental faculties at 13 years old to be able to make an informed decision that would permanently impact my overall health and stunt my development.

Neither did I at 15 when I sought to remove my breasts after two uncomfortable years of binding my breasts from the world with a compression device called a breast binder.

I wanted a way out. I wanted to stop wearing this binder while going on runs, swimming or walking home from school in a 100-degree weather.

I want it to look more like boys my age and most importantly, I wanted to avoid the sexual attention that came with having a visibly feminine chest.

I was groped at school in a classroom, a place where I thought I would be safe. That was the final straw.

I was afraid of being sexually assaulted again I wanted this part of my body gone! And now it is and it will be that way for the rest of my life because I was allowed to make an adult decision as a traumatized 15 year old.

The next question is: Just how often does this happen? Conservatives in the past have written the trans moving off as a circus act that [does] not warrant meaningful political discussion. Many on the Right have been made aware of the trans kids epidemic and indoctrination in our schools only as of this year.

Trans rights activists often outright deny that children diagnosed with gender dysphoria are ever medicalized. But when they’re presented with evidence that it does in fact happen, they attempt to justify it. They’ll go back on their statements and then say that it’s actually a good thing, and to deny children of these barbaric treatments is to deny them of life-saving health care.

These euphemisms are common and they downplay the reality of medical transition. Some say that transition regret is incredibly rare and that the reason that transgender individuals detransition is almost always due to external factors, such as social pressures or low income.

This could not be any more false. A new detransitioner, often a minor, reaches out to me on nearly a daily basis. This is an epidemic!

I see detransitioners expressed their regret online and get bombed with hatred by trans activists who have millions of followers.

They need to silence any dissent in order to maintain the carefully constructed narrative.

As soon as I even expressed regret, I was met with hatred by the same people who encouraged and celebrated every milestone in my transition.

I was told that I was a nuisance at best and a harmful force to other real transgender people at worst, just for admitting my mistake.

They said to me that I was only a spoiled brat who manipulated and hurt my parents and family.
They said that I didn’t deserve to go on testosterone or undergo mastectomy.

Now, that part is true because I deserved so much better.

They deserve adults who love and care for them when the world is preying on them. They deserve to just be kids. As somebody who knows this process well, I feel called to educate parents on the harms that are being cast on their children, harms that ultimately led to the mutilation of my own body.

If I can reach even one child with my story and change the trajectory of their life, I would consider my mission successful.

]]>Last I checked, there was no “GOP exception” in Romans 1 and other passages of the Bible proscribing homosexual behavior as sinful. Moreover, among the many reasons to oppose legalized same-sex “marriage” (no matter what the courts rule) is that it provides a launching pad for the inevitable pleas to recognize “gay unions” in the Christian Church, always in the name of compassion. Normalizing sexual perversion is not and never will be a “conservative” value, nor a compassionate one.
