Ceremony, a distinguished event dedicated to honouring the remarkable achievements of
33 accomplished alumni across a wide spectrum of fields. The ceremony brought together
esteemed dignitaries, faculty and current students in a vibrant celebration of excellence,
mentorship and institutional pride. The event was structured to celebrate their
Achievements to inspire the current student community through direct interaction with
achievers who have made significant contributions in their respective domains.

ALUMNI MEET 2024: On Sunday, April 21, 2024, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) hosted an alumni meet themed "Roads Less Traveled". The event brought together over 250 alumni to celebrate achievements, reconnect, and foster new connections. The Alumni Meet is an annual tradition that fosters a strong and lasting bond between graduates and their alma mater. The meeting was Organized by the Alumni Relations and Outreach Cell (AROC), which is the Official Alumni Engagement and Networking Cell of SSCBS. The Cell is integral in connecting our Alumni to the brand that holds memories of a lifetime. With over 6000 alumni achieving great things in their careers, AROC plans events and keeps everyone updated about campus events, helping to strengthen alumni bonds.

ALUMNI MEET 2023: On April 23, 2023, Alumni Relations and Outreach Cell hosted Alumni Meet 2023. The Alumni meet strives to develop a sense of community among graduates while also fostering a sense of connection to the university. This event drew more than 200 alumni from various batches, who reunited with their old friends and acquaintances. Alumni from the first batch of graduates in 1990 to the most current grads in 2022 were present to network and share their stories. This year’s meeting attracted a special interest from the batch of 2003 which was celebrating its 20th anniversary.The alumni brimmed with the joy of seeing their old pictures on the Wall of Memories. Nostalgia evoked as they recollected those cherished memories from their college life. They enthusiastically participated in the fun activities planned by the team for them. The smiles broadened as they got their sketches made by the caricature artist. Memories from the classrooms flooded back as the alumni met their teachers and shared anecdotes from their days back in college. Together, they enjoyed the performances of Blitz-the dance society and Dhwani- the music society.

Mr. Anant is an alumnus of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. He is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is an upcoming Investment Banker at Goldman Sachs. Currently, he is pursuing an MBA from IIM Bangalore having previously worked with Duff & Phelps (Now Kroll) as a senior associate.

Outcomes of the Session: Mr. Anant Gupta is an authentic speaker and it was proved by the way he guided us about Investment Banking. The session covered how we as students can go for Investment Banking based upon our career goals and aspirations. Overall, it was an impactful and enlightening experience bursting the bubbles of Investing Banking in our minds.

ALUMNI MEET 2022: The Alumni Relations and Outreach Cell of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies organized ALUMNI MEET 2022 on 30th April 2022. The alumni meet aimed to foster a sense of community among alumni while supporting a sense of connectedness back to the institution. Over 200 alumni (across batches) attended this meet and reconnected with old friends and acquaintances. The guest list included alumni ranging from the first batch of 1990 to the most recent graduates of 2019, networking and sharing anecdotes. As most of the guests were more familiar with the Jhilmil Campus, the members of the AROC escorted the alumni on college tours. The program began with an address by Mrs. Poonam Verma ma’am in the auditorium. It was followed by the performances of Blitz – The dance society of the college and Dhwani- The music society of the college. Alumni also interacted with the students and gave career guidance regarding higher studies and placements. Alumni answered questions of students regarding current job opportunities and how they should prepare for aptitude and technical interviews. Alumni and students had an excellent interactive session. The Wall of memories and Photo Booth were also major highlights. Event sponsorship is a powerful type of advertisement that provides brands with an opportunity to raise awareness and generate new leads in exchange for financial or in-kind support. We associated with Monster Energy and Wild Power Energy drink limos for the event.

Ms.Shreyaa Kapoor, a 2018 alumnus of SSCBS, Delhi, is a Content creator and freelancer
who has work experience of 2 years in Bain & Co. as Senior Analyst. In 2020, she became a
full-time freelancer. She’s currently having over 110K+ followers on Instagram which is like
an icing on the cake.

Finance Masterclass by Apoorva Bansal

Sessions’s Topic: Risk Management

This was the first ever session on this topic. The speaker, Ms. Apoorva Bansal
helped the attendees become familiar with the concepts of Risk Management.
She used a real time analysis done by her to elaborate on the topic. The session
by very unique, the attendees were very interactive throughout the session.
Being a new topic, students had a lot of questions and all the questions were
answered by the speaker.

Consulting Workshop by Aaditya Agarwal

Mr. Aaditya Agarwal completed his Bachelor’s Degree from Indian Institute of
Technology Delhi in the Civil Engineering Department where he Graduated as
the Institute Rank 2 holder He pursued his Masters of Business Administration
from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad where he was Rank 1 in the
Institute. He has also worked in Ashoka University as an External Consultant
where he helped 30+ Students is securing Jobs at top tier Consulting firms
Currently he is working as a consultant in McKinsey and Company.

Outcome of the Session -:
The Session with Mr. Aaditya Agarwal was quite an insightful one. Participants
of the session learnt a lot about how does a consulting job work and how to go
about solving any situation that comes to them as a consultant. The
enthusiasm of the participants was quite evident through their active
participation while solving cases and guesstimates.

Creating a Public Health startup for Covid-19 by Ms. Simran Soni

During the session, he focused upon the various challenges arising due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their impact on Web-based startups, and ways to tackle them.
