Julie, I have not seen any research on if they can be safely ingested. Actually, since writing this article – I have become a Young Living user (ironic, right?!). It was for this exact question that I began using them. I just couldn’t find enough research to confidently ingest or use the other oils internally. Young Living, however, has a “seed to seal” promise that they have had a hand in each project from the time it’s created to the time it arrives at your door. They also have a vitality line which is specifically labeled for ingestion… I think it’s time for me to do a blog update XD

I rinse the Fritos first to remove the excess salt
And still good

Your story is almost IDENTICAL in some way as far as Gods gentle nudging, down to the “I wonder if” comment and even the “all we can do is ask”.
