Guest Camp is Camp Mikell’s camp session for all ages, held annually over Labor Day weekend. This is a time for individuals and families alike to gather in the beauty of the north Georgia Mountains for a relaxed weekend of activities, quiet time, fellowship and the famous Camp Mikell food! Highlights of the weekend are the lively auction to benefit Mikell’s ministry, hiking in the creek, live music in the courtyard, and all of your favorite summer camp activities including dodgeball, four square, daily pool time, high ropes, and guided hikes.
Housing options for 2026 will include lodging in dormitory, cottage rooms, and Retreat Village rooms, as well as a limited number of spaces for fully contained RV’s and primitive tent camping. We encourage families that are able to share dormitory space to do so, to maximize the capacity of our housing options and live into the camp community that makes this weekend so special!
Registration will open on February 5th, 2026 at 10am.
Reservations are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE so make your plans soon because space is limited. We look forward to seeing you at MIKELL!

During that time we focus on living in community, faith, and friendship. Campers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities including sports, art, swimming, climbing, and much more! Learn more about our community HERE!
Who is eligible to summer sessions at Camp Mikell? Children that are in grades 2-12 are eligible to sign up! View our sessions and dates to see which session best suits your child!
Are scholarships available? Yes! Camp Mikell will scholarship campers at any level that sign up through the drive. We firmly believe that the camp experience should be accessible to everyone!
What do I need to bring to sign up? All children registering need an adult with them that is able to oversee their registration. Our staff will help with everything else. If the camper has medical insurance we ask that you bring a copy of their card and immunization record to put on file.
What takes place at the registration drive? We will help families to fill out all necessary forms and complete each registration and will have physicians on site to conduct sports physicals free of cost. Families are welcome to keep their physical form to use in the future, we will put a copy on their camp file.
What if I can’t attend the drive but would still like to sign up or learn more? No problem! Contact our camp director Anna Dinwiddie and she will answer any questions that you have and help you register via email or over the phone. Anna@campmikell.com, 706-886-7240.
We hope to see you there!
