Yes, it’s an early start (pack out at 9:30), but we don’t want to miss our chance to mingle with the walking waves and confuse them by shortcutting the course in our best bed-sheet togas. (Overly ambitious r*nners should have just enough time to sprint out their race early and come join later. If you’re running late, we’ll mark checks.) Remember, you can’t drink all Memorial Day if you don’t start early!
BRING: Sheets for togas, safety pins, virgins, whistles, random race bibs, lawnchairs and snacks for the park after., and a thirst for beer.
D’ERECTIONS: Start at the parking lot at the north end of North Boulder Park. Keep the BolderBoulder road closures (tinyurl.com/bbdetour) in mind if you’re coming across town (and maybe just bike), but the park should be accessible from Broadway, which should be unubstructed.

Toga Hash veterans (#thankyouforyourservice), please note the NEW start location. If you attempt to go to Casa de Pippi, you will either be in the wrong city or at a stranger’s house. This start location is outside the Bolder Boulder loop, as long as you approach from 28th St. and not from Folsom, so it is reachable by car. However, arriving by bike/scooter/foot/piggyback ride is still highly recommended. Find street closure info and whatnot on bolderboulder.com .

WHAT: Another beerienteering trail: Drink a beer at the start, and then receive a map to additional beers. Navigating with the map, race (or stroll) to the other, hidden beer stops, bringing your empties back to prove you made it. (3 minute penalty for bringing back a full can.) First one back after reaching all the beers wins, as does everyone who enjoyed moseying along the trail while chatting with friends.
WHERE: The upper parking lot at the end of Infinite Drive, off of S. Centennial Parkway in Louisville. Alternate transportation—It’s a mile walk from the FF1 stop at the McCaslin & 36 Park and Ride, or a half mile of gravel trail past the Scenic Overlook if you’re riding the 36 Bikeway from Boulder.
BRING: A compass *or* the knowledge that the mountains are to the west, shiggy socks, a bag to carry your empty cans in, and virgins (to hashing or beerienteering).
