This beauty of a lipstick is described as a “bold red wine” purple shade. This lipstick can be worn dark or much lighter. You can see in the first photo wearing this it almost appears a bit red and in the second shown it looks much more purple. The shade varies on how you apply it and the lighting. The color looks chocolate brown in the tube but when applied it looks much more like a deep purple and sometimes a deep red purple. It harkens the 1920’s era.
I cannot get enough of this color. It actually makes me FEEL fierce when I wear it and we could all go for feeling a little more fierce in our day to day lives, right?!
This lipstick is a Satin finish and is – Gluten Free, Paraben Free, Nut/Tree Nut Free, Fragrance Free, Soy Free, and Toxin Free

I love to use this cleanser when my skin feels like it just needs a really really good deep cleaning. It removes makeup like a charm and it leaves my skin soft and toned. Great cleanser to always have around!!!

Can Kosas do wrong? Not by me. They recently released their new LipFuel Balms and I love all three. The clear one is perfect to use before bed, before makeup, and the tinted ones are just beautiful. Such a gorgeous sheer color and they make your lips feel sooooo soft!!!! Great for carrying in your purse.
HUM Nutrition Glow Sweet Glow – “You may recognize hyaluronic acid from topical skin care products. We chose to include low molecular hyaluronic acid in our gummy because of its absorbability and 50% of the body’s hyaluronic acid is found in the skin. When ingested it helps keep moisture locked into the skin keeping it plump, hydrated and glowing. As we age, we naturally lose vitamin C in both the epidermis and dermis, which can also lead to a loss of collagen. Therefore, we included Vitamin C, a potent antioxidant, to increase collagen production. Like Vitamin C, Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that hydrates and supports the health of the skin. We included mixed tocopherols to give the body access to the most absorbable form of Vitamin E.”
I haven’t actually tried this product yet but I’m choosing it because I want to try it and I think it sounds amazing. If I can chew some of my vitamins – count me in!

You might be thinking… “Do I really need an oil for my lady parts?” – Yes, yes you do. I bought this after debating it for quite awhile and now I can’t imagine being without it. I plan to do a dedicated post on it soon.
Kosas Tinted Face Oil – “Tinted Face Oil is a feather-weight medium coverage foundation and deeply hydrating skin elixir. Oh, how I love thee!!! I recommend using a sunscreen underneath this as it does not contain SPF, however it does contain specific oils that help protect the skin in the sun! I ran out of my favorite sunscreen, so I’ve been using any I can but you could use any that you choose. This foundation works well with oils so keep that in mind! I use the shade 02.
Zuzu Luxe Liquid Eyeliners – “Featuring a fine calligraphy tip, our quick-drying Liquid Eyeliner has a water resistant, gluten-free formula that delivers ultimate precision to line, shape and define your eyes.”
I can’t stop wearing the colors Azure and Storm lately. They just brighten up any look instantly. A pop of blue might seem intimidating, but give it a try!!! Also – Raven is the best black liquid liner out there. I’m obsessed with these liners.
RMS Beauty Lip Shine – “Purity made simple. A touch of shine on your lips is now both sensuous and nourishing. This colorful, fountain of youth for lips contains moringa oil, which is rich in nutrients. I love all of the Lip Shine’s I’ve tried from RMS, however, Sublime is my go-to in the warmer months!!! It is one of my absolute favorite colors and products. It’s a must have. I am all out of it and need a new one. Trust me, you need it to.

]]>It’s so interesting to think back to a time when I would never have even thought about wearing any type of crop top in fear of showing off my stomach. Now, I actually search for them and I love wearing them because sometimes wearing things and embracing things that we were always afraid of (for whatever the reason) helps us to not only overcome those fears, but it can help us to feel and ultimately become more confident.
For me, I feel extremely comfortable and confident wearing tops like these and I think every woman should – regardless of your size or shape! If you want to wear something, WEAR IT. Do not wait for weight loss, weight gain or toning up for a special occasion or date and time – just wear what you want and enjoy it.
If you are new to crop tops and still feeling unsure about wearing them, try them with high-waisted jeans. This will help you to not feel like you are showing off “too much” while still being able to show some of that beautiful tummy of yours!
The weather is getting warmer but it’s definitely still time for some jackets. I have found some ways of incorporating crop tops into my outfit on those cooler without sticking out like a sore thumb or being too cold! Try adding a long jacket, sweater or duster. Add a beanie or fedora hat. All of these little additions will help keep you warm even while showing off some tummy!

]]>Hi everyone, I wanted to give you guys a status update on what’s been happening since I switched over to the new Burt’s Bees Toothpaste – specifically the Purely White formula – back in November.
I was really excited when I learned Burt’s Bees was getting into the oral care category. I wanted a toothpaste with ingredients I recognized and could trust, but also tasted great and gave me good results. I’ve finally found that and now I’m a fan!
The Purely White formula I use is fluoride-free (I love that!), but I also like that all of the formulas are made without things like SLS, parabens, triclosan, artificial flavors & sweeteners, and microbeads. And like all Burt’s Bees products, they were not tested on animals. I personally find it so much better than other toothpastes I’ve tried, some of which are full of chemicals and made with things I can’t even pronounce … I do NOT want that in my mouth. For me, when there are products made with simple and effective ingredients, why not go with those?
Since I started using Burt’s Bees Purely White Toothpaste, my teeth are noticeably whiter and I’ve had quite a few compliments lately on my smile! The Zen Peppermint flavor makes my breath fresh and my teeth feel so clean after I brush. Everyone in the family can find their own favorite because there are two other adult formulas, two for kids and people can choose from Fluoride and Fluoride-Free options. I even have my 2 1/2 year old niece using the Fluoride-Free Fruit Fusion Flavor….she loves it!

Nucifera The Balm
I feel like a multi-use balm is absolutely essential ALL YEAR ROUND. One that can work for just about everything. I recently chose Nucifera The Balm as one of my top picks for Glamour Magazine (article here). Ok, so let me tell you why I love this so much. The smell of this balm is what got me immediately addicted. Next, it was the light buttery consistency that sinks into the skin so fast without leaving over any type of greasy residue. This product does contain coconut oil and I know many people can breakout from this ingredient (myself included) but I have never had any breakouts while using this product. I have been taking many more photographs and it feels so good. Capturing things that inspire me keeps me inspired.
My current hair-care routine has consisted of four products(two from one brand and two from another) and it is been such an easy routine, but the difference in how my hair feels, looks and smells is crazy!!! My scalp is no longer dry or itchy, my hair is shinier, it feels stronger, and it smells SO GOOD. I then apply this dreamy creation to the middle and ends of my damp hair, braid it and then go to sleep and wake up with the healthiest looking hair. BREAKOUTS BE GONE! I started using two new products and I haven’t had a single breakout since (knock on wood). THIS is the best cleanser I have used in years. Yes, I said that right: YEARS. It also doubles as a face mask. I also the Active Body Wash. I keep both in my shower and have used them every single day since trying. I’m obsessed.
Ever since seeing Lacy post about this nightshirt, I have had it on my wishlist. I’d love it in any color, really, but I am especially drawn towards the dark green, especially for this time of year.

Speaking of proper breathing; I started seeing a brilliant woman who works with Biofeedback and she has been teaching me different breathing techniques and so much more when it comes to dealing with anxiety and chronic pain. More to come on this very soon!
I am currently taking this tonic twice a day in my water (it’s delicious!) and it is one of the best things I have come across for gut and skin health. There are so many products on the market for “gut health” and “glowing skin” that I have tried and often feel don’t do anything at all, or take a LONG time to feel anything from, but with this product, I felt it with the first dose. Bloating went down and I digested my food better. My skin is clearer and I look forward to it in my water because of how good it tastes. I am looking forward to trying more from the line!
Just made another purchase on Pact. I cannot get enough of their clothes. I am especially excited about this sleep romper, even with the weather being cooler- I know I will get so much wear out of this. I will pair it with these knee-high socks and this cardigan and it will be perfect!
This is one of the best shows I have seen. I finished it within two days and now I am really sad I finished it so soon. If you’re looking for a hilariously brilliant, often uncomfortably vulnerable show to binge-watch, this is it!
