The post Exclusive Video Clip Released Today From Alice Cooper/Criss Angel “Welcome To Our Nightmare” Collaboration Shows in Las Vegas appeared first on Alice Cooper.
]]>Iconic rocker Alice Cooper and legendary illusionist Criss Angel have just released an exclusive video clip from their recent “Welcome To Our Nightmare” shows – the first-ever visuals made available.
Cooper has also revealed that Nita Strauss will be rejoining his band for the upcoming “Welcome To Our Nightmare” shows in Las Vegas with Criss on November 27-28 and December 4-5 at the Criss Angel Theatre at Planet Hollywood.
The “Welcome To Our Nightmare” shows are a historic and innovative creative collaboration combining Alice’s legendary rock’n roll hits and Criss Angel’s award-winning mastery of magic, and played to sold-out crowds at Planet Hollywood’s Criss Angel Theatre for several weekends earlier this year.
Strauss, who joined Alice in 2014, last appeared with him in Las Vegas March 6-8, before taking a leave of absence to have a baby earlier this year.
Anna Cara, who has been filling in for Nita throughout 2026, will continue with Alice on his “Alice’s Attic” tour September 17-22 and October 27-November 21.
Said Alice, “We added the November and December shows after the March, April and May shows sold out so quickly, so that more of our fans could experience this very special show that Criss and I created. Nita opened our 2026 touring season in Las Vegas back in March and is now returning to close out 2026 with us there, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming the Hurricane back onto the stage. Bringing Nita back after she took a break to start a family is the perfect way to wrap up 2026. We couldn’t believe our luck when we confirmed Anna Cara to fill in for her for all of our shows across North America and Europe this year. Anna has been a true asset to the tour and she’s now part of the family. Who could ask for anything more than to have these two amazing musicians in the Cooper family?”
WHERE: Criss Angel Theatre @ Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, Nevada
WHEN: November 27 & 28 and December 4 & 5

]]>The post “School’s Out” Named Greatest Summer Rock Song of All Time appeared first on Alice Cooper.
]]>Growing up, the best part of summer was always the lack of school. The feeling of impending freedom was palpable as the days till summer vacation counted down. In 1972, Alice Cooper released a song that perfectly encapsulated that freedom, with his classic hit, “School’s Out.” The song was released as the only single from the album of the same name and has become an unforgettable summer anthem. So much so that Detroit’s 94.7 WCSX named it the top summer rock song of all time.
“Released in 1972, ‘School’s Out’ became Alice Cooper’s breakthrough hit and remains one of the most recognizable rock songs ever recorded,” said WCSX. “More than 50 years later, it still sounds like the first day of summer.”
When asked about his inspiration for the career-defining hit, Cooper gave his respects to another band. On Music Executive Pete Ganbarg’s podcast, Cooper said that “School’s Out” would not have been possible without The Who’s “My Generation.” Cooper said that the song inspired them to write an “anthem.”
“‘My Generation’ was an anthem because a hundred years from now, a 16-year-old kid hears that song and goes, ‘Oh, he’s talking about me’,” Cooper told Ganbarg.
While “School’s Out” only peaked at No.7 on the Billboard charts, Cooper succeeded in creating an anthem. The song is now 54 years old, but it still remains a favorite for many, especially around the beginning of summer.

]]>The post ALICE COOPER The Studio Albums 1975-1978 5LP And 5CD Collections With First Four Solo Albums And Bonus Rarities Arrive July 31 appeared first on Alice Cooper.
]]>The Studio Albums 1975-1978 is available July 31 in 5LP (available exclusively at Rhino.com) and 5CD configurations. The albums include Welcome to My Nightmare (1975), Alice Cooper Goes to Hell (1976), Lace and Whiskey (1977), and From the Inside (1978). An album of bonus material adds seven tracks, including single versions of “Welcome To My Nightmare” and “You And Me.” (In the vinyl set, this LP is cut at 45 RPM.)
After the original Alice Cooper band redefined rock with global anthems like “School’s Out” and “I’m Eighteen,” Cooper went solo in 1975 with Welcome to My Nightmare. Produced by Bob Ezrin, the concept album exploring a child’s nightmares was certified platinum, peaking at #5 on the Billboard 200. It was followed by a TV special, a groundbreaking theatrical world tour, and a concert film. Its concept continued a year later on the gold-certified Alice Cooper Goes to Hell, which introduced his biggest-selling single, “I Never Cry.”
Cooper shifted gears in 1977 on the platinum-certified Lace and Whiskey, adopting the persona of the bumbling, hard-drinking private investigator Maurice Escargot. It featured the Top 10 ballad
“You And Me.” His fourth album in four years, 1978’s From the Inside is a concept album co-written with Bernie Taupin that draws directly from Cooper’s recent experience in an asylum. Produced by David Foster, the album includes the hit single, “How You Gonna See Me Now,” which peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100.
With a career spanning nearly six decades, Cooper has sold more than 50 million albums, headlined numerous sold-out tours, and fundamentally influenced the trajectory of hard rock and heavy metal. A cultural icon and 2011 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Cooper continues to evolve as a creative force. He hosts the long-running national radio show “Alice’s Attic with Alice Cooper” and recently debuted “The Cooper Club,” a line of golf apparel. This October, he will release his long-awaited autobiography, Devil on My Shoulder, offering an unfiltered look at one of the most enduring careers in music history.

]]>The post Alice Cooper Introduces New Guitarist Anna Cara appeared first on Alice Cooper.
]]>
Alice Cooper has introduced British guitarist Anna Cara in place of his longtime guitarist Nita Strauss, who announced earlier this year that she was taking a break to welcome her first child this summer.
22 year old Anna, from Newcastle, England, has previously worked with Marc Storace (from the Swiss band Krokus) and Tommy Henriksen (guitarist with both Alice and the Hollywood Vampires). She has built an Instagram following with her videos.
Anna will make her debut April 2-4 with Alice at his special “Welcome To Our Nightmare” shows in Las Vegas. These unique shows are a collaboration with illusionist Criss Angel and take place in his theatre at Planet Hollywood.
Alice has his US “Alice’s Attic” tour April 14 through May 9, and then returns to Las Vegas May 22-24 for three more “Welcome To Our Nightmare” shows with Criss Angel.
Keeping his usual busy schedule, Alice then has a European “Alice’s Attic” tour June 13-July 12, and promises more shows in the fall.
Said Alice, “Nita found a brilliant British female guitarist to fill in for her while she is on maternity leave. Anna Cara is a beautiful dynamic shredder in the vein of Nita but with a style of her own. She will fit in with our gang perfectly while Nita is away and we can’t wait for the sick things to meet her. Welcome to the show Anna!”
Anna, for her part said “This is like a dream come true, to join Alice and his great band. Back when I started playing guitar at 14 I was watching Alice Cooper live shows on YouTube dreaming of joining one day! Nita Strauss is a tough act to follow, and she’s been so encouraging to me this past month, so I am looking forward to showing everyone who I am and what I can do.”
Nita said “When I was asked in an interview who I thought was the best up and coming guitarist, I had no hesitation in answering “Anna Cara.” Anna’s precision and soulful, emotional playing will make her an amazing asset to the Cooper tour! Working with Alice for 12 years has been the experience of a lifetime and I look forward to seeing you all back on the road (with a +1 along for the ride!) Until that time comes, I know that the show is in good hands and the fans are in for a treat!”

]]>In the Sixties and early Seventies, Alice Cooper was simply a rock group, but as their lead singer, Vincent Damon Furnier, developed his modern-day Grand Guignol character, Alice Cooper became his stage name. Then, on a wave of global success, he legally changed it to his own. As his story will tell, the two Alices became schizophrenically, almost fatally intertwined; after a harrowing journey to Hell and back, there are today two very different Alice Coopers: the deeply religious sober man behind the mask and the Godfather of Shock Rock who wears a snake around his neck. With a career spanning six decades, Alice’s story features witty, intimate anecdotes featuring Salvador Dalí, Bob Hope, John Lennon, Groucho Marx, Vincent Price, Frank Sinatra, Erroll Flynn, Bette Davis, Jim Hendrix, Gerald Ford, Andy Warhol, Tiger Woods, to name a few, but he’s also an acute observer of dysfunction and despair, wildness and criminality, urges and addictions, transgressions and human goodness. And so he tells his story from both perspectives: angel on one shoulder, devil on the other.
Alice Cooper will be in the UK on publication for media and an extensive 8-date book tour.
Alice Cooper says: ‘I’ve written this book to track Alice’s ‘evilution’, and how I’ve tamed him at last. Just as he and I became almost fatally intertwined, the story of Alice Cooper after over thirty records and sixty-plus years has become a tangle of embellishments, elaborations and outright fabrications, and I think it’s time to sort reality from myth’
Charlotte Hardman says: ‘We are delighted to be publishing Alice Cooper’s autobiography – and as a music icon with a career spanning six decades what a remarkable life story it is. In this brilliantly written and vividly told memoir he is incredibly honest about the push and pull of the two sides to his life. This is Alice Cooper as his fans have never heard him speak before.
