At the District level, the Hon. DCE Daniel Mensah Wardy, District Coordinating Director Madam Tawakalitu Raji, Heads of Departments and Unit including other dignitaries held the Christian prayer at Ayeldu and the Muslim prayer at Pra Ewusi respectively.
[See image gallery at aakda.gov.gh] ]]>The A.A.K District Assembly on Tuesday, 12th May 2026 held its quarterly management meeting. The meeting was attended by the District Coordinating Director Madam Tawakalitu Raji and heads of all Decentralized Departments and Units within the District is held quarterly to deliberate on the performance of the various department, units and agencies in achieving the strategic development goals of the Assembly and the Central Government.

Daniel Mensah Wardy, The District Coordinating Director Madam Tawakalitu Raji, District planning officer Ernest Brew-Paintsil together with his assistants Amos Oduro Agyemang and Samuel Awotwe, The District Works Engineer Alhassan Saaka, The MIS officer Bernard Arthur and the Assistant Director Daniel Tetteh were the participants of the training at the DCE office.
The role of the officers involved in the training was to upload and updates all projects executed within the district including reports and the planning officer is the one in charge of coordinating and monitoring to make sure all the inputs are done onto the platform.
]]>The DCE Hon. Daniel Mensah Wardy and the District Coordinating Director Madam Tawakalitu Raji were in attendance together with all the heads of Decentralized Departments and Units and the Hon. assembly members present.
]]>A lot of interactions were done at the meeting and some concerns and issues were raised by some of the community members and the MP Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, DCE Hon. Daniel Mensah Wardy, DCD Madam Tawakalitu Raji and the various Heads of Departments and Units took turns to respond and address the issues and concerns raised and also highlighting the achievements made in the year 2025.
The Hon. MP and the Hon. DCE again reiterated their commitment to bringing development to their community and the district as a whole. The Community leaders also expressed their gratitude to the assembly for hosting such an event in their community. ]]>
The purpose of the meeting was to deliberate on the projects ongoing in the district and other critical issues that needs to be addressed within the communities. Again to discuss and conclude on the Annual Progress Report which was to be submitted soon. ]]>
Participants of the exercise swept the streets and lanes, desilted the choked gutters and weeded areas where necessary and also had the support from Zoomlion Ghana Limited to dispose off all the waste from the exercise.
The District Chief Executive, Hon. Daniel Mensah Wardy and the District Co-ordinating Director, Madam Tawakalitu Raji took turns to address of the primary school kids and the Abakrampa SHS students and some community members present that took part in the exercise. ]]>
