Doorway Safety
When we moved to Cresswind, we discovered that every doorway leading outside had a 3.5- to 5.7-inch drop-down (rise), which creates a trip hazard if you’re not paying attention while carrying groceries or furniture into your property.
For that reason, we added a ramp to each interior/exterior threshold so we could get in the house easily without tripping.
We’ve been asked numerous times about the ramps we purchased, so I’ve added them here with *links.
NOTE: Please measure your rise before purchasing, as they were all different sizes in our home.
Ramps
Note: The back/patio door was a 3.5-inch rise (We put pavers in to cover this gap)
