I am also a little concerned about the necessity for asserting Sola Scriptura. So many “Evangelicals” claim this yet there is so much dissent among the ranks as to what Scriptura is actually saying.

It sounds to me (and I haven’t read this yet so I am being unfair) that this is a belated attempt to follow in the footsteps of the Emerging church without having to accept the fact that have come will past the time when ‘modern’ theology is vital. I wonder if the reference to Constantine doesn’t contain lingering elements of an anti-Roman Catholic bias. I would’ve liked to hear them say something similar about Lutheran, Calvin and Swingli.
