A. Sunway-ECEF Scholarship (Sunway Campus in Selangor only)

Tuition fees and general fees (namely, fees other than tuition fees, but excluding refundable deposit) will be fully covered whilst allowances for accommodation, books and living expenses will be given for the entire course.

B. HELP-ECEF STUDY AWARD

C. ECEF PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP (FOR PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES)

Partial scholarships are open for all the degree and diploma courses that have been accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency offered by all the public universities that are on the Malaysian Qualifications Register.

Applicants must apply separately to the university on their own. Indicate the course applied for in the application form.  The scholarships are NOT open for Foundation level courses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BEFORE APPLYING

• Applicant must have obtained at least:
  • 3As in the SPM examination or
  • 2Bs in the STPM examination or
  • 6Bs in the UEC examination
• Applicant must be below 23 years old as at 31st December 2023.
• Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen.
• Household income must not be more than RM60,000 per annum in 2023.
• Applicant must meet the course requirements of the college/university applied for.
• Applicant has not yet commenced his/her course in the college/university applied for.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Click on 2024 Scholarship Application form to download.
2. Complete all the sections (write clearly in BLOCK LETTERS). Incomplete forms will be rejected. When typing in, please STAY WITHIN the boxes.
3. Supporting documents (please name each of the supporting documents with your name in front):
   • SPM and/or STPM/UEC/Matriculation certificates (trial exam results will not be accepted).
   • Photo of NRIC.
   • Recent photo of yourself
   • Copies of prizes/awards referred to in Section E
     • Income Tax Statements for the last 2 years
     • 3 consecutive months’ salary slips
     • EPF statements for 2024
     • EA forms for year 2023
     • Any other proof of incomeFinancial statements for parents/guardian/main household income earner as listed in Section G:Parents’ or main household earner’s:
       • Income Tax Statements for the last 2 years
       • 3 consecutive months’ salary slips
       • EPF statements for 2024
       • EA forms for year 2023
       • Any other proof of income

       OR

       If parent(s) has/have stopped work:

       • Income Tax Statements for the last 2 years of his/her working life.
       • EPF Statements for 2023 and for the last 2 years of his/her working life.

Supporting letter from Children’s Home, if applicable (Section J)

4. Email the completed form together with all the supporting documents to bbgs.ecef@gmail.com.

5. Applicant, if short-listed, must attend an interview (at his/her own expense) in person at a specified venue in the Klang Valley, or via Zoom

6. Only short-listed applicants will be notified by email

7. The amount of the allowances, if granted, will be at the sole and absolute discretion of ECEF.

8. The application must be received within 2 weeks after the announcement of the 2023 SPM/STPM results (whichever is later).  Late applications will be rejected.
