The images you’ve described are so vivid and true. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. One of the best memories I have of our childhood was Dad taking us on the ferry to Sydney when the weather was particularly blustery and the waves guaranteed to break over the top ferry deck as it crossed the heads.. what fun!
