The Arrow PSA Project Planner was designed to be customized to the user’s taste, with convenient features that can help to easily organize multiple simultaneous projects with multiple simultaneous dependencies. We recognize the importance of software that is nimble enough to scale as business scales. The Project Planner also allows you to Collapse or Expand Task Default View. And Column visibility can be set according to each individual’s user preferences.
All keeping in mind that within the Salesforce system that Arrow PSA is built upon, exists customer data, resource and project data, with tracked dependencies. Every stakeholder can monitor every step of the process along the way.
TIME MANAGEMENT, TRACKING, AND APPROVALS
Arrow PSA’s time tracking automation tools save users a lot of time-consuming efforts, and improves upon the accuracy of data being entered into systems. The simplistic, intuitive userface allowed users to enter time by task or by week on a standardized time sheet. Users can manage cases within Salesforce and track time as needed. It’s also integrated into the core application, so time can be entered from anywhere while using Salesforce. Users can track billable and non-billable hours by project, client, or internal work. Arrow PSA also offers configurable workflows to ensure time is approved or updated before billing is run.

We believe the key to successful project management is in the details, which is why there are two optional features we sometimes set up for our clients when setting up Arrow PSA projects.

Skill Match
With our Skill Match feature, we can set it up so that specific knowledge or skillsets can be selected in association to a particular project. Set which skills you will need to complete this Project if the Opportunity gets sold. This helps to more easily identify resources that will be needed if and when the project closes. Identifying what resources and skills will be needed for projects goes a long way to help project managers prioritize and delegate assignments. It not only improves the project management process, but also helps to keep an accurate record of resources being utilized for different types of projects.

Project Wizard
With our Project Wizard, you can create a Project from an Opportunity. It will transfer data that was gathered in the selling phase to automatically create specific Project types and apply templates. This streamlines the time and energy it takes to set up and start implementing projects, and assists in standardizing processes and data that is collected. The Arrow PSA Project Wizard is a fully customizable component that hooks into our underlying code. Any level of customization can be added in terms of fields and function.

We have a great new set of updates with Arrow PSA 2.30!
Live mode for the planner is a feature in this release and requires updates in “Set up.” Please follow instructions below after upgrading your org or sandbox.
- All Lightning Pages with Planners must be edited/saved to capture the new “Live” setting preference
- To Use “Live” Mode you must update Change Data Capture
You must update the assignment Fields array of the resource manager config to use Planned Mode on the resource manager with “apollo__Project_Task__r.apollo__WorkBaselineInHours__c”,

We are constantly working to improve Arrow PSA by creating new features that make the user experience more sensible for our clients. Included in the following updates are additions we created to lesson the repetition of data entry in common tasks, and allow individual end users to save preferences and settings they would otherwise have to repeat.

- Add and edit your project tasks using the Kanban board.
- Previously applied filters and preferences from the user will be used when returning to the Resource Manager.
- Timesheets now has the ability to opt to prevent Time Entry on Summary Tasks.
- With the Arrow Checklist Component, users can now add, remove, and reorder checklist items from Project Task Assignments.
- Additionally, within the Arrow Checklist Component there is an option to save and apply saved Checklist Templates for items frequently used.
And we stay on top of any technical bugs that arise.
- Quick Time Entry shows invalid pattern on entry – Fixed √
