This vetted with the people who attended the CM Coffee House meeting July 20, 2017. I heard from Gail, the office manager, who told me they weren't able to make a decision on Friday because the entertainment manager was not at the meeting. This in from Marilyn, Sunday is our monthly pot luck. Camp Alexandra, the Lodge. We start 6ish, menu is as you determine it, coffee and tea are bottomless, friends abundant, conversation scintillating, and the music is icing on the cake. I have no idea what I'm going to bring, but in honour (sort of) to Harvey's melodic rant "Harper's To Blame", I'm thinking Chicken Catch-a-Tory. I hope to see you all there.

This just in from Marilyn. This coming Sunday, the 22nd, is the last Sunday of the month, which means the pot-luck is on. Hey Folks, It was a really nice time in the Song Circle last night. I didn't catch everyone's name but there was someone on upright bass, and a new-to-me guitarist beside him, and Bryant's cousin. There was nice original tunes and sing-along covers. Had a really nice time at the Song Circle tonight. Thank you to everyone who was there.

Met some new people (but didn't get everyone's names). Heard some new voices too.

Great accompaniment on the piano, and bass. And a real stand-up singer.

It's nice to pass the microphone around. It's like the old-time concept of a talking stick.

We have a new sound system! After weeks of research and testing we have our new sound system. It is Soundcraft 12 channel mixer with a Bose L1 Model II with T1 ToneMatch audio engine and B1 bass module. This gives us plenty of channels to accommodate all comers and great sound on the stage and in the house. Come on down to Crescent Moon Coffee House and give it a listen or try it out on the stage.
