Hood: Outlaws & Legends is set to debut on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC next week, on May 10th. You do still have time to pre-order though. And if you do, you’ll actually be able to get some games going… tomorrow.
Those who pre-order get Early Access privileges, with the window for that opening up on the 7th. That’s not all of course, as pre-orders also include the “Forest Lords” cosmetic pack. Expect to see “unique outfits and weapon skins for your characters” in that.
And finally, the Year 1 Edition is also available. That includes all 3 of the Battle Passes that are expected to launch post-release.

]]>Trained from a young age as an inquisitor, the Mystic chose to rebel against the government’s iron fist and brings several unique powers to the battlefield. Use your abilities to reveal nearby enemies for a short time and heal yourself and nearby allies. Meanwhile, the Mystic’s poisonous smoke bombs can bring foes to their knees — or be adapted with perks to heal allies in an area-of-effect.
The Mystic is also a capable melee fighter, with a deadly flail that can set the pace of combat. Swing it to create space or launch it forward to perform a powerful mid-range attack, stunning enemies to create an opening for a finishing blow. In a game where close cooperation is key, the Mystic can be a vital addition to your team composition and strategy.

]]>Wielding a mighty sledgehammer, the Brawler is a master of melee combat, excelling at holding defensive lines, creating new paths for allies, and, of course, bashing people real good in team fights. The Brawler is an important role in a game in which cooperating with your squad is key to victory; sweep groups of enemies clear, instant-kill unarmored targets, and knock foes off their feet with a sprint attack.
The Brawler can also open portcullises for teammates, perfect for escaping from alerted guards or punishing the enemy team for getting caught, and his explosive grenades offer even more destruction. The Brawler’s Ultimate Ability, Wrath, pushes his bestial fury and physical strength to the limit, granting increased durability and infinite stamina to relentlessly chase down targets.

]]>The post Crackdown 3 release date revealed, up for pre-order now appeared first on BrutalGamer.
]]>
Microsoft’s Xbox lineup at Saturday’s XO18 did not have all that many “new” announcements. But be that as it may, it did have one big piece of news – the Crackdown 3 release date. Finally, at long last, Crackdown 3 is coming.
And actor Terry Crews is very excited. Very. Excited.
I have a feeling that there are maybe just a few gamers out there who might feel something like Mr. Crews. It’s kind of hard not to if you are a fan of Crackdown though.
After being tagged as something of a throwaway, and as a vehicle for a Halo 2 demo years ago, the series managed to accrue a legion of followers. There’s a very good reason for that of course, since both the original and sequel were miles better than anyone thought they’d be.
So far, Crackdown 3 is looking like it might be right in line with those first two installments. The game is ready for pre-order right now, and is set to arrive, exclusively for the Xbox One, on February 15th.
If you just can’t wait for that magical date, then you might want to try replaying the original. That’s something that you can do right now, without charge. Microsoft has posted that first game, in backwards compatible form on Xbox Live, for free.

]]>In an interview published by Polygon on August 16, Microsoft Studios Publishing’s General Manager Shannon Loftis revealed that “Crackdown 3” would be delayed from its November release to Spring of 2018. Loftis said the move was made to give developers Reagent Games, Sumo Digital and Cloudgine more time to ensure the game’s quality.
“We’re very excited about Crackdown 3, and so are many fans, and so it’s a difficult call to move the release date,” Loftis told Polygon. “However, we want to make sure to deliver the right game, with the right quality, and at the right time. Crackdown 3 is a hugely ambitious game and we want to ensure we deliver the right experiences all the way through every part of the game, whether that’s campaign, co-op multiplayer or our competitive multiplayer mode, Wrecking Zone. Getting the balance right between the three modes is important, and we are going to take the extra development time to ensure that. Gamers can expect Crackdown 3 in Spring of 2018.”
“Crackdown 3” was originally planned for release in the second half of 2016, but was delayed into 2017. The game was then announced as a launch title for the Xbox One X, Microsoft’s next iteration of the Xbox One console, to be released on November 7, 2017. The game received criticism at E3 2017, however, with many pointing out the game’s lackluster graphics.

While this is probably the best move for “Crackdown 3,” it is a big blow to the Xbox One X’s launch lineup. Hopefully Microsoft’s other exclusives can make up for the loss come November 7.
