It may sting that Yellowjackets is coming to a close, but at least we get one last season.
Paramount+ has released the official trailer for the fourth and final season of the survival drama series.
The series follows what happens to a team of high school girls soccer players after they survive a plane crash in the remote wilderness.
"Equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story and coming-of-age drama, the series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over," according to an official description.
The trailer for the final season finds the girls welcomed home after surviving in the wilderness. We see how they adjust to their arrival back in society set to the Alanis Morissette song "Ironic."
"It's surreal to be here. Feels like going back to a different life," Jasmin Savoy Brown's young Taissa says in the trailer. "When you wish for something for so long, and then it actually happens, you're never really prepared."
Season 4 of Yellowjackets will span 10 episodes.
Alongside Brown, the series stars Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Sophie Thatcher, Hilary Swank, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton and Liv Hewson.
June Squibb, Elijah Wood, Molly Ringwald and Dulé Hill guest star in the final season.
Yellowjackets season 4 arrives on Paramount+ Premium on Nov. 20.

Fashion's biggest night, the annual Met Gala, has a new theme for 2027 after an exhibit on controversial designer John Galliano was canceled earlier this year.
The 2027 theme for the star-studded gala, held each spring on the first Monday of May, will be extraORDINARY: Fashion and the Poetics of the Everyday, Vogue and the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute announced Thursday.
The theme and exhibit will focus on everyday, "seemingly unremarkable" clothing like T-shirts, jeans and puffer jackets that "can inspire delight, surprise, and wonder," according to the museum.
"The ordinary is never quite as simple as it appears. A pair of jeans, a white shirt, or a sweatshirt can hold traces of a life — the habits, memories, and attachments that make something our own," Andrew Bolton, curator of The Costume Institute, said in a statement Thursday. "Designers work with that familiarity, revealing unexpected possibilities within forms and materials we think we already know. The exhibition invites us to discover how much imagination the everyday can hold, and how looking again might change what we value and care for."
Each spring, the Costume Institute's new exhibit is opened by the star-studded Met Gala.
The gala, chaired by Condé Nast chief content officer Anna Wintour, is a major fundraiser for the museum and the Costume Institute in particular.
The 2027 extraORDINARY theme was announced two months after the museum announced it would not go forward with its initial planned exhibit on Galliano.
That exhibition, John Galliano: Horizons, was met with backlash when it was announced in late July because of Galliano's history of antisemitic remarks.
Galliano was fired as the creative director of Christian Dior in 2011, and was found guilty of antisemitic behavior by a French court later that same year and sentenced to an $8,400 suspended fine for verbally abusing an English language teacher and two others in separate incidents at a restaurant in Paris.
At the time, Galliano's lawyer said he was "relieved" by the court's leniency — the designer did not receive prison time — adding that Galliano was "looking forward to a future of forgiveness and understanding, hopefully, and to put all of this behind him."
In August this year, the Metropolitan Museum of Art said it had made the decision not to proceed with the Galliano exhibit, in the wake of the backlash, adding that a new theme would be announced at a later date.
Galliano also released a statement at the time, saying in part, "I understand that meaningful atonement is not achieved through an exhibition, institutional recognition or a single public gesture. It is a continuing responsibility, demonstrated through listening, learning and one’s conduct over time."
He added, "I do not want the debate surrounding me to place The Met in a difficult position or to distract from the remarkable work of the Costume Institute. I also recognize and respect that an exhibition honoring my work would be painful for some."

Russell Brand was found guilty by a London jury Thursday on one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault.
Brand had faced a total of seven charges against six women, pleading not guilty to three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault and one count of attempted indecent assault.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 9 after a trial that began in mid-October.
The jury of four women and eight men deliberated for more than eight hours before delivering their verdict, according to The Associated Press.
The U.K.'s Metropolitan Police said detectives began investigating Brand in 2023 after allegations against the actor were reported by multiple U.K. news outlets.
In April 2025, Brand was initially charged with one count of rape and one count of oral rape, one count of indecent assault, and two counts of sexual assault in connection with alleged incidents from around two decades ago, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Brand responded to the initial charges on social media that same month, saying, "I've always told you guys that when I was young and single, before I had my wife and family ... I was a fool, man, I was a fool before I lived in the light of the Lord. I was a drug addict, a sex addict and an imbecile. But what I never was, was a rapist. I've never engaged in nonconsensual activity. I pray that you can see that by looking in my eyes."
He then thanked his supporters, adding that he was "incredibly grateful" to defend the charges in court.
Several months later, in December 2025, the Crown Prosecution Service announced it had authorized further charges against Brand concerning two additional women.
Following Thursday's verdict, David Roberts, senior Crown Prosecutor in the London Rape and Serious Sexual Assault Unit, issued a statement, saying in part, "Russell Brand was predatory and used his celebrity status to commit sexual crimes. ... Although his tactics varied, at the centre of every assault was an abuse of power and sexual greed, with a complete disregard for the impact of his actions."
Roberts added, "I would like to thank all the women in this case for their courage in coming forward and seeing this sexual abuser brought to justice."
In a separate statement on Thursday, Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy of the Metropolitan Police Service said, "I want to pay tribute to the team of detectives and specialist staff who worked tirelessly on this investigation. Their professionalism, determination and compassion for the victims represent the very best of the Metropolitan Police."
He added, "Finally, I would urge anyone who may have been a victim of rape or serious sexual assault to speak to us. You will be listened to, supported and treated with dignity and respect."
In addition to acting and comedy, Brand has worked as a political commentator and wellness influencer.
He was previously married to singer Katy Perry from 2010 until their divorce in 2012.
In 2017, Brand married Laura Gallacher, who appeared with him in court throughout the trial. The couple has three children.
ABC News has reached out to Brand's attorney for comment.

Looks like these artists are choosin’ Nashville.
ABC and the Country Music Association announced the performers for the 2026 CMA Awards, airing on Nov. 18. The star-studded lineup includes Ella Langley, Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Cody Johnson, The Red Clay Strays, Tucker Wetmore and Zach Top.
It’s only fitting that Langley would perform at the biggest night in country music. The artist leads this year’s nominations with nine, tying the record for most nominations by a female artist in a single year.
Her 2025 single “Choosin Texas,” which is nominated for three CMA awards, including song of the year, surpassed 23 consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking a record previously held by Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You.”
Lambert, who co-wrote and produced Langley’s hit single, earned seven nominations this year, including producer of the year for her work on Langley’s 2025 album, Dandelion.
Twelve-time CMA Awards winner Lainey Wilson is set to once again host the highly anticipated night in Nashville.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be hosting the CMA Awards again this year, especially with it being the 60th anniversary,” Wilson said in a Thursday press release. “I’ve had so much fun hosting the last two years, and this one’s going to be extra special.”
This year's show will also include a special tribute to the late queen of country Dolly Parton, who died in August at the age of 80 after what her family described as a "brief battle with cancer."
The 2026 CMA Awards air from 8 p.m. ET to 11 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+ on Wednesday, Nov. 18. The program will be available to stream the next day on Hulu.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reality star Jennifer Affleck is ending her marriage to Zac Affleck after seven years.
In court documents obtained by ABC News on Wednesday, Jennifer Affleck, 27, who goes by Jen Affleck, filed for divorce in the Fourth Judicial District Court in Provo, Utah.
She is currently pregnant with her and Zac Affleck's fourth child.
ABC News has reached out to representatives of Jen Affleck for comment.
Jen Affleck rose to fame on social media for her content as a young Mormon mother and also became part of MomTok, a viral group of Utah-based mom influencers.
In 2024, she was cast in Hulu's hit reality docuseries TSLOMW, which followed the dynamics of the MomTok group.
Audiences also saw cracks in Jen Affleck and Zac Affleck's relationship.
The pair met in 2018 on a Mormon dating app called Mutual. Jen Affleck was 18 at the time, while Zac Affleck was 21. They got married in 2019 and welcomed three children together: Nora, Luca and Penelope.
After season 1 of TSLOMW aired, they briefly separated. Their separation was a major plotline featured in season 2 of the show; during their separation, Jen Affleck discovered she was pregnant with their third child.
They continued to appear on seasons 3 to 5 of TSLOMW together, and while Jen Affleck competed on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, Zac Affleck was seen in the audience and on social media supporting her.
In a 2024 Instagram post, Jen Affleck reflected on her marriage and said, "We were just kids when we got married. Young, naive, and inexperienced, we truly had no idea what we were getting ourselves into."
She continued, "We didn’t always see eye to eye, and a lot of times, we still don’t. But that’s what marriage is, we keep trying. I truly believe there were lessons we both needed to teach each other."
"I couldn’t have done it without Zac," she added. "Is Zac perfect? No. Does he have flaws that we’ve needed to address? Yes. But I can confidently say he’s always supported and believed in me more than anyone else."
Jen Affleck is slated to appear in the Mormon Wives spinoff, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County. It premieres on Hulu on Nov. 12.

Sharon Horgan has made a career out of telling relatable, comedic stories.
The actress stars in Youth, an original HBO comedy she created that was just renewed for season 2. Youth follows a 50-year-old divorcee named Alex who searches for love while also caring for her ailing parents and parenting her should-be grown-up son.
Horgan had been thinking about the characters in Youth years before she made the series, even prior to making her 2022 Apple TV show Bad Sisters.
"Pre-Bad Sisters I was just about hitting 50, and I was just coming out of a divorce and my kids were getting older, and this new phase of life appeared to be happening that I thought had good potential for story," Horgan said.
The actress decided: "I want a write about being a woman of that age and getting back out onto the sort of scene, as it were, because I found that I was waking up and thinking, 'I'm gonna die alone.' And I thought, 'That's kind of funny.'"
"Dating is so much harder when you hit this age, because just, it's different. Your body's different, your confidence is different. The people who are available to you romantically are different," Horgan said.
While there are parts of Horgan embedded into everything she makes, the creator feels as though Youth in particular is more personal than her other projects.
"It's a really odd one, actually. It's more so than other shows I've done. And a lot of the work that I do could be called auto-fiction. I put a lot of myself into the majority of my work. But this feels extra," Horgan said.
Alex has a son, Horgan has two daughters. They have careers that "couldn't be more different," Horgan said. Yet, she feels extremely connected to the character.
"It's just, I guess, simply that. That I put a lot of myself into the character, and use some of my own very personal experiences and heartache," Horgan said. "So that feels weird."
Horgan said including real moments from her life felt like asking Youth's audience, "Do you like me?" and "Do you think I'm funny?"
"I think putting anything out is tough, because you've been sitting with it for so long. You've been making it for usually years, and the only person you've had to please, well, outside of the streamer or whatever you're making it for, is yourself," Horgan said. "Once it goes out there, it belongs to everyone and everyone decides what it is. And that's a scary prospect."
Horgan also hopes people will relate to what Alex goes through, whether it be watching your kid who just left for college immediately decide to come home or what happens to your body when you hit your 50s.
"I think it is really helpful to see someone go through it, especially on a small screen, because it's so much more relatable when it's TV, when it is in your home," Horgan said. "It feels less out of your reach. Less aspirational or something. And so that would be my dream, that people feel like you're reflecting their lives back at them."
All eight episodes of Youth season 1 are available to stream on HBO Max.

Will #momtok survive this?
Former Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast member Whitney Leavitt is set to produce and star in her own Hulu reality show, according to Deadline. Hulu has yet to announce a title or release date for the project.
The Dancing with the Stars season 34 contestant teased her upcoming show with an Instagram Reel collaboration with Hulu and @GetRealHulu on Wednesday, highlighting previous fan rumors that she’d be starring in a new series. She cheekily paired the video with the caption “see you soon.”
The show promises to follow “firebrand Whitney Leavitt and her family as they navigate her newfound fame and career ambitions while always putting family first," Deadline reports.
The news comes months after Leavitt announced her exit from SLOMW in May during her final performance as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. The influencer opened up about her decision to leave the show after its fifth season on Good Morning America.
"I feel like with anything in life, you feel like you have this book of life and it just felt like it was a chapter that was time to end and I've tried to leave multiple times, which I'm sure you've seen," she explained during the Sept. 4 interview. "But this one I felt ended really well, and I think everyone felt that."
On top of her upcoming reality series, Leavitt also signed on to star in Netflix's upcoming holiday rom-com All for Love releasing on Nov. 24 and Broadway’s Just in Time starting Dec. 1.

Mckenna Grace is opening up about why she makes certain acting choices.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping star said she purposefully avoids taking on roles that require nudity in an interview with Cosmopolitan released Tuesday.
"At this point, I definitely don’t do nudity or very hypersexual things. I respect anybody who can, but it’s terrifying to me. I don’t know if that’ll ever change," Grace told the outlet.
The actress said she doesn't mind being part of the horror genre, but she draws the line at nudity.
"It’s not like I only do wholesome things — my character literally gets gutted by Ghostface in Scream," Grace said. "But my dream is to try and be a Disney princess someday."
Grace stars as District 12 tribute Maysilee Donner in the upcoming Hunger Games film, which opens in theaters on Nov. 20. Elsewhere in the interview, Grace said she has been part of The Hunger Games fandom for a long time.
"I was very invested in all of it—the headcanons and the fan base. I had this huge Hunger Games poster. I got a bow and arrows so that I could be like Katniss. I told [director] Francis Lawrence when I got to set: 'Dude, I’ve watched these movies and read these books a million times ... To be running off my own podium toward the cornucopia, this is not real to me,'" Grace said.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is based on Suzanne Collins' novel of the same name. It revisits the world of Panem almost 25 years before the events of the original book and film saga.
The novel begins on the morning of the 50th annual Hunger Games, when Haymitch Abernathy is chosen to compete in the deadly arena. Haymitch eventually wins the games, as he goes on to be the mentor for Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark.
Joseph Zada stars as a young Haymitch in the film that follows his journey through the Second Quarter Quell.

A new coming-of-age series is headed to Netflix.
The streaming service has given a straight-to-series order to Prep. It will be a young adult show based on the bestselling 2005 novel by Curtis Sittenfeld.
One Day's Nicole Taylor serves as showrunner, executive producer and a writer on the upcoming series. Sittenfeld executive produces, as does Will Ferrell.
Prep follows "scholarship girl Lee Fiora’s high school years at Ault, a prestigious New England boarding school, and her journey to navigate friendship, crushes and class as a fish out of water among her privileged, confident classmates," according to its official logline.
Taylor said in a press release that Prep is her "all-time favourite novel."
"I have longed to adapt it for the entire twenty years since I first read it and found myself reflected uncannily back. There is no more acute depiction of the introspective, bookish self-conscious adolescent girl and no more truthful or excoriating take on the perils of social mobility than in Curtis Sittenfeld’s beautiful first novel. I am overjoyed to be adapting for Netflix," Taylor said.
Sittenfeld expressed similar excitement about the upcoming adaptation.
"I'm overjoyed that Netflix is making Prep as a TV show—the 22-year wait was worth it!" Sittenfeld said. "Nicole Taylor's scripts are truly brilliant. Nicole's adaptation makes me understand my own novel, and myself, better. My 51-year-old self can't wait to see what they do with this story of privilege, longing, and teen angst."

Nicole Taylor, one-third of the country music group Taylor Red, has died, according to a statement from her sisters shared on the group's official website. She was 35.
According to the statement, Nicole Taylor died Sept. 28, 2026. A private funeral service was held by her family.
Nicole Taylor, who was a member of Taylor Red with her triplet sisters Nika Taylor and Natalie Taylor, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in 2022, her sisters said in an Instagram video Monday.
In the video, Nika Taylor and Natalie Taylor said their sister battled cancer "fearlessly" and told her loved ones "We're not going to live in dread during all of this."
"She even did CrossFit while she was doing her [chemotherapy] treatments," Nika Taylor said.
According to the sisters, Nicole Taylor initially "responded well to [chemotherapy] treatments" and had been declared "evidence without disease," but was later told her cancer had progressed to Stage 4.
Despite doctors giving her three months to live after that diagnosis, her sisters said she went on to live for another year.
"She tried not to live in fear, remained really hopeful, traveled, she tried to live life, she worked really hard, she tried to have fun," Natalie Taylor said.
According to Nika Taylor, Nicole Taylor was given "a more serious diagnosis" around nine months later.
"After she asked the doctors her prognosis, [they said] it was around three months. And if the treatments worked, they didn't know how long [she had] after that," Nika Taylor said.
In response to that news, Natalie Taylor said her sister replied, "Everybody's gonna face judgment, and I'm ready to."
Born March 18, 1991, the Taylor sisters formed their music group Red Roots in 2010, releasing their self-titled debut studio album in 2011.
Their second studio album, The Middle of Nowhere, was released in 2012, followed by their third studio album, Triplicity, in 2014.
The trio signed with Inpop Records in 2015 and changed their name to Taylor Red, later releasing the track "Country Money" in 2021.
Nika Taylor and Natalie Taylor said throughout their sister's life, Nicole Taylor kept a deep and steady faith.
"We are still shocked and didn't think this would happen," Nika Taylor said in the Instagram video. "But we know she's not suffering anymore, and we have God's promise of ultimate healing."

Dolly Parton's nephew Bryan Seaver is asking for the lawsuit brought against him and his security company by Parton's estate to be thrown out.
Seaver, who was also the head of his late aunt's security team, filed an 18-page response Monday to a complaint from She's Alive LLC, the trust that manages Parton's assets. She's Alive LLC sued Seaver and his company, Squadron Augmented Protection Services, LLC, on Sept. 22, one month after Parton's death, alleging he had made threats and was demanding money.
Seaver said in his response to a Tennessee judge on Monday that he never created a "culture of fear" as the suit had alleged, denying the premise of the lawsuit and saying the messages the suit calls "threats" were not threats.
Seaver also denied that he had "engaged in outrageous or oppressive conduct" as alleged in the complaint, and said some of the "threats" outlined in the original suit had been met with reactions like "HaHa" from Danny Nozell, an executor on the trust and Parton's longtime manager.
"Defendants deny that any of these statements was a threat, deny that they were 'calculated' to threaten anyone, [and] deny that they had or were intended to have a 'chilling effect' on any person...," the response reads in part.
The response comes one month after She's Alive filed a court document on Oct. 5 alleging that Seaver's residence had a "no-trespassing sign in the front yard and barbed wire draped across the handrails leading to the front door" in an alleged attempt to evade being served with the lawsuit.
Reached for comment at the time, Seaver told ABC News a restraining order filed against him by Parton's estate prevented him from speaking publicly about the case.
Parton's estate was granted the temporary restraining order against Seaver and his security company in September, after a judge ruled that they had shown a "present and continuing disruption and threat" to She's Alive.
Parton died in August after what her family described as a "brief battle with cancer." Seaver was the one who announced his aunt's death in a video statement shared on social media at the time.
Parton amassed a multimillion-dollar estate during her lifetime, stemming from her entrepreneurial endeavors, which included her extensive music catalog and her Dollywood amusement park. She and her late husband, Carl Dean, who died last year, had no children.
The next hearing in the ongoing case between She's Alive and Seaver is scheduled for Nov. 10.
ABC News has reached out to Seaver for comment.
Parton's estate declined to comment when reached by ABC News.
