I owned a 1967 Nova SS clone in the early 70’s. It was a factory 327/275 -4spd car that I painted black. I an retired now and looking for a project, but the ’67 Novas are rare on the east coast. I live in NYS and have traveled to look at several but have yet to locate the right one.

You have a nice car!

We are so hard on ourselves. While I wish this sentence, “I honestly feel like this maybe the first time I have truly felt successful as a teacher for a group of music students.” weren’t true (as in the “first time”), I’m certainly glad that it happened and you recognized it and you can focus on this great experience and great group of kids to bring that feeling to all you do!

Comment on Learning Space Makeover by Eric Castro http://chadzullinger.com/learning-space-makeover/#comment-190 Tue, 17 Mar 2015 21:13:28 +0000 http://chadzullinger.com/?p=369#comment-190 I still think the flatscreen display should have been mounted on a rolling cart so that it could be moved to different areas in the room as needed. The room also needs a second display – definitely on wheels – for students to use collaboratively.

If the room is still used for dance rehearsals, then full-wall mirror makes sense; if the room is no longer used for dance, then I recommend that the mirror come down and be replaced with a full wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling whiteboard materials. With that, students will be able to sketch out measures, arrangements, or set lists directly on the wall.

All in all, this has been a great transformation of a decent 20th century learning space into something far more contemporary. Great work!
