]]>Get ready for an unforgettable summer! Bring your friends and family and Join us for the all-new Rhythm in the Park series every second Sunday from 4–7 PM at Fish Ladder Music Park (216 E. Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI). Enjoy live music, local food trucks, and a friendly atmosphere. The series is presented by the Capital Region Community Foundation, LansingRiverfront.org and BMRW Promotions.
The series features local and regional acts.

About Fish Ladder Music Park
The Fish Ladder Music Park is a cozy outdoor performance space with a permanent stage, tiered seating, clean sight lines overlooking the Grand River and the historic Brenke Fish Ladder. Completed in the fall of 2025, this public hub is located in Lansing’s Old Town and is designed for community engagement.

]]>A new summer music series premiers this year. The Rhythm in the Park Music Series takes place on the second Sunday in June, July, Sugust and September, bringing live music performances, local food trucks, vendors, and community-friendly fun at the all new Fish Ladder Music Park (Brenke Fish Ladder) at 216 E. Grand River in OldTown.
The summer lineup showcases a diverse mix of music, music genres and artists including gospel, smooth jazz, R &B, Motown, neo soul anf funk that is performed by local and regional artists in Michigan.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of Fish Ladder Park and made possible by the Capital Region Community Foundation, Lansing Riverfront.org and BMRW Promotions.org, this free outdoor event is the perfect summer destination for music lovers of all ages.

Lansing, MI — BMRW Promotions proudly launches the 22nd Annual Summer Concert Series, “An Evening of Smooth Jazz,” with a powerful, innovative, and vibrant performance by the 2025 Billboard #1 artist and guitarist, Dr. Adam Hawley.
The newly renovated Waverly High School Auditorium in Lansing will serve as the community backdrop for this highly anticipated annual summer concert series. It celebrates legendary voices and timeless artistry of jazz music through the talents of international, national, regional, and local musicians. The series also blends electrifying fusion of groove, improvisation, and sophistication in smooth jazz.
The evening opens with a soulful performance by 496 West and special guests. Followed by the exhilarating pulse of Saxmen Rafael Leafar and Daryl Beebe, who make the horns talk.

About BMRW Promotions
Since its founding in 2005, BMRW Promotions vision is to present world-class music events within the local community and to provide a place for artistic expression and a platform for the community to experience high-quality, engaging musical entertainment, especially smooth jazz. The organization has introduced audiences to the smooth jazz genre while offering valuable opportunities for artists at every level—local, regional, national, and international—to showcase their talent. Event Location
Waverly High School’s Auditorium located at 160 Snow Road in Lansing, underwent extensive renovations and officially reopened Spring 2025. Enhancements include advanced LED lighting, a sophisticated sound system, digital controls, wireless technology, and improved acoustics and stage rigging. A district bond measure funded the upgrades to support greater safety, modern learning environments, and STEM initiatives, ensuring the venue is ideally suited for distinguished performances and community gatherings.
