See No Evil
Bara Game: See No Evil
Creator: Captain Gerbear
Price: $12 CAD
(Warning: Contains Minor Spoilers)
It’s been quite a long time since I’ve played an adventure game. The last one I recall was Escape from Monkey Island which released what… 13 years ago? See No Evil strives to revive that genre with a pixelated art style reminiscent of games from the DOS generation.
You play as Orsino who wakes up after a night of drinking and finds himself trapped in limbo. With his house in ruins, engulfed in ominous black flames, he decides to investigate by entering a strange palace off in the distance. Inside he meets Lord Barrod, a demon who taunts Orsino into a life of servitude by suggesting our poor hero submits to him. Orsino can freely submit to Lord Barrod at any time he pleases, but once this happens, it’s game over from here!
As with most adventure games, you’ll have to type in some commands to advance the story. Most of the interactions are done through the up or down arrow key, and if you leave Orsino idle, you’ll see some extra dialogue that can help you get passed some of the more challenging “puzzles,” so to speak.
Tip: Take note of any word that shows up in capital letters.
The general flow of the game requires you to form a pact with the demons around the palace. In addition, there are several rooms you need to activate by performing a specific ritual. For example, one room might ask for a demon to make Orsino scream, and what better way to scream than through some nice butt pounding action.
Once the deed is done, Orsino has to seal the room by chanting out the correct incantation. For this to happen, Orsino has to first learn of the correct phrase by investigating a poster in the room. Afterwards, he must head to the library, memorize the entire spell, and return back to the room to complete the ritual.
Tip: There’s one incantation that can’t be found on a poster.
Once you activate all the rooms and complete the final incantation you beat the game! Well… not really. Maybe you should listen to those Thralls again. Something about those phrases seems a bit off.
Though See No Evil might be a porn adventure game, it puts itself on a higher level, it’s well written and reads like a novel. As evil as Lord Barrod can be, his dialogue makes it seem like spending an eternity under him might not be such a bad thing… Well maybe it is, but it doesn’t have to end that way!
If you’d like to try it out the game first hand, you can download the demo at the Big Finger’s Selz Store. The full version is $12 CAD and can be purchased here with a credit card.

]]>Back in December, Senga Migiri announced a new game titled Specie and Chimera. The main protagonist was dispatched by a public works company to help restore a zoo that was once forced to shut down due to financial troubles. This will mainly be a solo project for Senga Migiri, whom, aside from the music, will be handling the art, programming, and storytelling.
The characters from left to right, excluding the horse are:
Most of their names allude to an animal or chimera, like ‘Hawk’ in Yousuke’s name, or ”Dragon’ in Ryu’s. As for that one creepy dude, his name is Yamada, he’s a janitor who always wears this horse mask for some reason. This should make for some awkward but interesting cut-scenes.
No release date given, but we’ll have more details about the game once a demo is released.
Congrats, it’s our first major post in the Bara News category! We’ve finally discovered a way to keep track of any bara manga/game releases from Japan. Starting March, we’ll post a list of the latest Bara releases every month.

Tekken has its own stream of baralicious guys from the big and beefy muscle brute “Marduk” to the lean, fit body of “Baek”. Unlike Soul Calibur 5, you can not create your own custom characters. You can however customize most of the main characters who are all instantly available from the start.
Initially, certain characters and stages were locked away only to be released as free DLC months after the game’s release. One DLC in particular, the “Big Bikini Bundle,” was only available to those who pre-ordered the game. Since that bundle allows male characters to wear a fundoshi, we waited a bit until it was finally released for free in December.
Now mostly everyone has access to the fundoshi.
It’s great that the fundoshi allows you to see the character’s butt cheek, but they come with these annoying jika-tabi (they look like socks) which you can’t ever take off.
The Fundoshi is available in three colors, red, black, and white, with no option to change their colors. The only other revealing outfit for males is the “Shirtless” and “Wrestling Bottoms” with boots; again no barefoot option.
Bob doesn’t get a Fundoshi for some reason.
After switching from Soul Calibur, you start to miss some of the features you take for granted. There is no instant replay option which makes it impossible to do those soft-core porn camera angles we plaster on this site. There is a regular replay option, but it only records your online battles or 2 player VS battle. Oh! We must also emphasize that this 2 player VS battle requires TWO controllers. There’s no option to set up Player vs CPU battles which means the CPU will never use any of the custom fanservicey outfits you’ve created.
So yeah, it takes a much longer time to capture those precious moments unless you can find a willing participant who won’t question your use of male characters wearing skimpy outfits.

]]>First person shooters are my weakest area. How did I fare in this game?
Gameplay:
Oh was it brutal! Who knew I could die so much in the first area. The game focuses purely on an FPS experience with some RPG elements – leveling up, skill tree, etc – with up to four players in co-op mode fighting their way through hordes of creatures, robots, and psychotic criminals.
I chose Salvador of the Gunzerker class (not only for the Bara appeal) but I felt playing as a tank character might help me through much of the game. As his name implies, the Gunzerker specializes in guns, and is noted for his special move where you whip out two guns at the same time while rapidly regenerating health. Most of the time, the Gunzerker’s regenerating health ability lets me survive much longer than I normally would in a typical FPS. I’m not one to pay attention to enemy tactics, and will go head first into enemy fire. Though it’s not the best route to play, I tend to shift between long distance sniping, abusing barriers to attack enemies through gaps in the wall, or all out melee attacks.
My main concern over gameplay comes from Co-Op. Unfortunately character levels do not scale based on the game’s host, and your friends will obliterate everything until you realize you’re underpowered when trekking alone.
Graphics:
I’m a big fan of cell-shaded graphics. Back in the days of Jet Set Radio, you couldn’t foresee cell shaded graphics looking this good. It’s detailed to the point that sometimes I forget that it is. There’s definitely no disappointment in the graphics department.
Sound:
Probably the game’s weakest areas. The music isn’t bad, but there aren’t that many tracks that stand out aside from the Snow and Desert areas. The music switches tracks between combat and non-battle, and I feel both tracks could have been a remix of each other to keep the theme. As much as I like Salvador, his grunting noise is a tad obnoxious.
Playability:
Controls are fine, though somewhat awkward when doing melee attacks mostly because you are in first person and it’s hard to visualize when the weapon physically hits the enemy. Replay factor should be quite high with a new game + mode, and a treasure trove of loot to hunt for.
Other Things:
If you’re on XBOX360 you have to be very wary of joining other people’s games with all the cheating going on. This is supposed to be fixed in an upcoming patch.
The Bara Factor:
Not much eye candy to see here. You have Salvadore and Axton, but unless someone creates a shirtless mod, you’ll just be focusing on shooting and nothing else. (Which is what you should be doing right?)
Next time we’ll talk about how we can gay up this game a bit. Though it will never be to the extent of Saints Row: The Third.

Manual Nude Shepard Mod for ME1
Written By Phillip
This male Shepard nude mod switches and renames files to use the sex scene nude body in place of armor. It’s only a Ken doll look (just a wide bulge where the junk should be), and it does not work all the time. Sometimes the armor will appear without a texture (looks jet black). Kaidan isn’t nude for me, he’s got jet black armor. Also, you will not be nude on the Normandy. If anyone has any ideas on how to make this mod function better, or to add genital meshes/textures, let me know.
There is no unofficial or illegitimate downloading required for this mod. In fact you will be creating this mod yourself, readme and all. If someone wants to make a nice downloadable mod package, nothing’s stopping you.
1. Install Mass Effect on your PC.
Obviously this isn’t possible on console versions, thus the PC gaming master race prevails. I used the disc version, but I don’t see why Amazon, Steam or Origin versions wouldn’t work.
2. Patch Mass Effect.
Download patches 1.01a and 1.02 and install. If you want, you can download Bring Down the Sky DLC.
3. Organize.
This is important so you don’t fuck it up later. In the Mass Effect install directory
C:\Program Files\Mass Effect\
Create folders inside one another to make the following directories:
…\mods\nudemod\backup\BioGame\CookedPC\Packages\GameObjects\Characters\Humanoids\HumanMale
and
…\mods\nudemod\BioGame\CookedPC\Packages\GameObjects\Characters\Humanoids\HumanMale
4. Back up the original male armor files.
Open the directory:
Mass Effect\BioGame\CookedPC\Packages\GameObjects\Characters\Humanoids\HumanMale
and find the following files:
Copy these files into:
Mass Effect\mods\nudemod\backup\BioGame\CookedPC\Packages\GameObjects\Characters\Humanoids\HumanMale
Now they are backed up and you know from the path where to put them back if things go wrong or the nude is not for you. You can just copy the BioGame folder from the mods folder right into the Mass Effect install folder and it will overwrite the nude mod.
5. Copy the male nude file over to the mods folder.
Navigate to:
Mass Effect\BioGame\CookedPC\Packages\GameObjects\Characters\Humanoids\HumanMale
and copy the file:
Paste it into:
Mass Effect\mods\nudemod
6. Repeatedly paste and rename the BIO_HMM_ARM_NKD_R.upk to create nude versions of the armor files.
Rename BIO_HMM_ARM_NKD_R.upk as these three files below:
7. Copy and overwrite.
Copy and paste the 3 files you just created into:
Mass Effect\mods\BioGame\CookedPC\Packages\GameObjects\Characters\Humanoids\HumanMale
and choose to replace/overwrite the old armor files.
8. Open Notepad and create a readme file.
In the Start Menu, navigate to All Programs > Accessories > Notepad. Copy the following enclosed text and paste it into Notepad:
———————————————————————————————————
Mass Effect Male Shepard Nude Mod
Install: Copy the BioGame folder and its content to the Mass Effect install directory. Overwrite/replace when prompted to do so.
Uninstall: Open the backup folder. Copy the BioGame folder and its content to the Mass Effect install directory. Overwrite/replace when prompted to do so.
———————————————————————————————————
Navigate to File > Save As… and navigate to the Mass Effect/mods/nudemod folder. Save the file as readme.txt
9. Restart/Start the Mass Effect game and voila! Enjoy your naked male Shepard.

]]>Hey BaraGamer, do you play pokemon? Could we get your advice on the most bara pokemon to flesh out our teams with if you do? Thanks!
When I was younger I used to play Pokemon, but kind of fell out of it. I felt that as I grew older, the games didn’t evolve (no pun intended) with me so I quit playing after Ruby and Sapphire. I’ve seen many Bara Artists draw certain Pokemon in particular, so if it were me, my team would be:
Machoke, Charizard, Ursaring, Slaking, Lucario, Emboar
Emboar is a new one, he gets drawn in all sorts of situations, sometimes taking off his suit. But why talk about Pokemon when the Trainers and Gym Leaders are hunky as hell. Like Chuck for instance…

In fact GachiMuchiOni sent me his character the other day. Looking forward to see submissions of the Norn race, They’re practically all bears!

Does anyone has The walkthrough of “ugcp maison de maniac”? (メゾン・ド・エム). I’ve been looking for the walkthrough everywhere Dx And I couldn’t find it :C it’s really depressing! please help!
Sadly, I haven’t played the game, and the only wiki that’s out there is quite odd and I’m not even sure if the story on there is related to the game. I’d like to do one but that project would be take up too much time for me personally.

Hey guys, just letting you know your site is awesome and one of a kind. Hope you guys have another art related contest again soon, and Thanks for putting a link up to mine!
Yep, next up is another Character Creation Contest where you create your bara character in any videogame. We have plans to start it in October.

Ah Summer! The only time where MMOs unleash their fanservice upon the masses. But it seems Phantasy Star and Tera suffers from a double standard where females get bikinis and males get… trunks
Ya that’s not gonna cut it!
We don’t have a beach area yet so we have to make due with the forest.
Last month they released swimsuits in the “Gacha” (it’s like a lottery where you receive a random prize). Players can sell these clothes to others in their own shop. Interestingly enough, the female bikini outfits sell for exorbitantly high prices while the male outfits sell dirt cheap.
Considering I haven’t been playing other MMOs as much, this concept seems strange to me. I shouldn’t really be surprised at all about this since most players rather play as a female character than a male. It’s just quite nice to know that overall I’ll spend less on appearances compared to other players.
Even guys can wear flowers in their hair!
Even if males don’t have access to Bikinis, it doesn’t stop us from taking homoerotic pics.

]]>Aki’s Videogame Inspired Bear Art
Tell us about yourself: My name is Aki, was born in Poland, and I’m currently employed part time at a couple of places as a graphic designer/photographer.
I have always been interested in art, Japanese culture and video games, as a form of escapism from the drab reality in my country. However, much to my disappointment, practically no game had ever had a “big” protagonist, such as myself, that I could identify with.
That fact, combined with some of my talents, has lead to my adventure with digital art, and creating my own characters and stories. Currently I’ve been working with Poser and Photoshop, amongst others, for eight years.
What tips do you have for beginner at 3D modelling?
The easiest way for people wanting to create character-centered artwork is Poser from SmithMicro, or DAZ Studio, which is freeware in the basic version. It requires no 3D modelling knowledge to use the basic functions, and it also manages to teach the basics of working with 3D software. So if someone would like to continue working with even more advanced programs, they will have an easier time learning how to use them.
DAZ 3D offers the best starter models on the market, and many of them are free. I’ve used Michael 5 for all of my characters, so I would recommend starting with it. It will work with both Poser and DAZ Studio. If one is good with Photoshop, they can easily create original textures for those models, adding tattoos, body hair, and such.
However probably the most important thing is body morphs, which help to create the perfect body and face shape, which make your character unique. The free models have basic morphs, which should be enough for most people, however if one would like more variety and dramatic shaping, I’m afraid they will have to learn advanced modelling, search for free amateur morphs that are available on many websites, or spend some money at online stores. Thankfully they are not very expensive.
Bara characters don’t require very many morphs to shape their bodies. Female models are more popular, so they have a much bigger (and more expensive) assortment of add-ons. But thankfully we’re not interested in those *laughs*! Basically all I use for bodies is muscle, bulk, and fat morphs, and as for faces, it depends on ethnicity and the kind of character I’m aiming for.
There are countless sliders, but it’s still quite easy to achieve the desired effects. The DAZ 3D store also has in their offer facial and body hair, which are essential to me, but not necessary if someone doesn’t like hairy characters. After creating the perfect man and testing what he looks like with draft renders, all it takes is to pose him and set up a mood with lighting.
Lights can basically create a masterpiece or a disaster, depending on how they’re used, so I’d recommend spending a lot of time learning how they affect the way the character looks. Thankfully there are many editable presets available.
The rendering process can look a bit daunting, and will require a trial-and-error approach, depending on the type of system it’s running on, but after a few dozen bad renders and tweaking with settings, it should start to improve. After rendering, it’s time to take the image into Photoshop and edit it there. No raw render will ever be perfect, they all require correcting in a bitmap editing software.
All these things will take a pretty long time to do. One shouldn’t expect to get fast results, I usually take at least two days minimum to create an artwork. So the basic advice is one everyone probably expects: practice every day and you will reach perfection. Oh, and have lots of money *laughs*!\
Favorite Bara/Bears in Video games: I love all video game bears! As long as they’ve got some meat on their bones and facial hair and not too wacky, that ruins the character in my eyes (I’m looking at you, Rufus!). The first video game bear crush I had was back in 1998 with Bunyan from Breath of Fire 3. Currently, I think the most iconic bears for me are Bass from Dead or Alive series and bearded Raiden/Big Bear from The King of Fighters series. Frank West from Dead Rising, Bob from Tekken, and Barry from Resident Evil are also my favourites.

The fundoshi is a new addition included in a recent SoulCalibur V DLC pack. It’s a new underwear that’s exclusive to male characters in a game that otherwise caters to female fanservice fetishists. It’s a great addition for all those who want their male warrior to show some extra skin, as well as some buttcheek.
Also includes the Rhinoceros Head from Rock.
