Richmond Award Program Honors the Achievement
RICHMOND May 17, 2021 — Metallic Art Graphics has been selected for the 2021 Best of Richmond Award in the Museum/Art Gallery category by the Richmond Award Program.
Each year, the Richmond Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Richmond area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2021 Richmond Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Richmond Award Program and data provided by third parties.

Our Fourth Music event named Speakeasy#4 which occurred Friday September 11th is coming up soon on Friday 5-10pm at the Artemis gallery! This is an underground art & music event for VIP & invited guests
only with access to the gallery thru back door
the stage was set up on the back porch and was perfect for the 4 Musicians that performed live!
Last time it was Heid Canzanelli, Brett Zwerding, Chris Branch, and Roger Kohler. Piano Guitars & Turkish double neck Flute!
Lots of delicious food & drinks and barbecue provided by Josh Venner our neighbor! (no one was left hungry!) We spread out throughout the parking lot as well plenty of social distancing with masks.. those who ventured inside the Artemis gallery were treated to a Special “mystery Martini”. Next one will be August 21st Summer Solstice celebration !

This will be a special send off to Diane Clement who is moving to Arizona permanently. This will be the last chance to say goodbye to her! Believe it or not, she was the very first artist to show her works at Artemis when we opened in 1997, and to do an outdoor spray painting of our Male model Guy Barnard Bernard!
We are setting up back porch for live music and food drink ! It’s on July 10th “Martini Fridays” you and your partner are invited!!! 7-10pm. We so need a good celebration to get over all this negative energy! Bring your guitar(bring your Mask!!) and play too it’s mostly acoustic!

Artemis Gallery Underground Music & Arts Event! June 19th 6-10pm
I am getting ready for my first event post Covid re-opening “Speakeasy” underground art & music event for VIP only with access through back door only! We are setting up back porch for live music and food drink! It’s on June 19th “Martini Fridays” you and your partner are invited! 7-10pm. For our October 2019 First Friday, Nicola Merriman, a local Richmond artist, presented Artemis Gallery guests with models clad in her Hand Painted Art History Denim Jackets and puzzle piece earrings. The event was a HIT! Not only was the gallery packed, but we sold many of Nicola’s pieces. Here are some fun shots from the night! Photo Creds to Graham Jennings Media and Valeria Moreno.
More about Nicola: Nicola Merriman was born in the United Kingdom and spent most of her childhood growing up in West Virginia, USA. She attended Davis & Elkins College to study art education. What Nicola enjoys most, is doing emotional portraiture using oil paints. She plays with layers, light, and color in these paintings. Currently, Nicola is working on a wearable art series. The first jacket showed the image “Hygeia” by Gustave Klimt.
