I do not care for tattoos. Also I was brought up to believe that it is against the Jewish religion to do anything like that to our bodies. HOWEVER, in reading this article and the reasoning behind the tattoo by this young lady, I agree with what she did and in actuality continues to do by people seeing it on her arm. Firstly it is a reminder/memorial to her beloved grandfather and what he experienced/endured. It is also a reminder/education to all of us that if we forget our past we may find ourselves in the situation of having to relive it. Bravo to her for being an individual.
